Oh man Listy you are making me sweat it!!  I forgot to take pics before I sent your angel package.  Now I am second guessing the quality of the bag.   Undecided

Ooops! I dont' know why but I have been bad about posting pics lately. And dude, the bag rocks my socks.  I have just been having to use the library computer the past week because my brother deemed me unfit to use his comp *rolls eyes* brothers.*finds camera and un-stuffs new bag and repins the note on the bag*  okay ladies and gents, I have sold my soul to satan (a.k.a. my little brother) to let me use the comp. And now, the wonderfulness that is the bag that jaybirdescrafty made me!  I really do like it.  Showed it off at work *sticks tongue out at co-workers* They are jealous...even the kids think its cool!  Grin

So here is the font of the bag:

Your hubby's jeans went to a good cause hehe!

Here is the back of the bag:

Not trying to be mean or anything but that song "I Like Big Butts" keeps popping into my head. I am just loving the back pockets on this *grin*

The inside:

See the pockets on the sides?

The lining:

Cause I know ever Crafster wants to know what the lining looks like  Cheesy but dude, how did you chose this? I am in love with this fabric...where did you get it?

The goodies:

Here's the stuff in the bag...which now lives in other places hehe

The crochet hooks:

I am still wondering how the heck did jaybirdiscrafty know that I was gonna buy more hooks.  I am also going from one place to another so I wanted some hooks that I could carry with me and if I lost one, no big, cause I would have my set at home. And they're bright! And shiney! And colourful! *stares and gets no crocheting done at all*  .....ahem, yes, they now live in the hook roll I got from the FOC2 swap from hertrigger.

The bracelets:

Aren't these beads beautiful! I have already worn the blue one.

The dishcloths:

Dishcloths! I have made sooooo many of these but haven't kept a one! Now I have three! They are mine! All mine! Bwahahahaha! Oh, jaybirdiscrafty, what patterns did you use for these? My mom was very impressed with the star one...

The pin:

Ack! I don't know why I couldn't get a clear pic of the pin...but you get the point.  My boss laughed at me when he saw the pin. Hehe.  Hey just because I have my own coffee, coffee filters, and coffee maker at work doesn't mean I'm THAT addicted...much...hehe

That's everything! *bows at jaybirdiscrafty feets* you are wonderful! you are wonderful! Thank you so much! thank you so much! *snaches goodies and runs away*

Okay, I got home yesterday and there was a large box on my porch!!!!  My daughter and I were just squealing all night over what it contained - especially after kymporter let me know that some of it was for her! Grin

Here's the main (large) tote: (it's HUGE)

Close up of fabric - look at those wild kitties!  They really made us giggle!  kymporter post stalked me and found that while I adore kitties I'm unable to have one.

A pocket for everything:

She filled it with - a smaller tote for Katelyn:

Again, with pockets:

My pockets are never THIS nice.

And some more stuff inside:

kymporter - you are the best swap angel ever!!!!!!!!  Katelyn and I adore the totes and are both using them today.

Well, prettyandpetite told me to post some pictures because she got my bag today. Grin
Her favorite actress is Molly Ringwald, her fave movie is Pretty in Pink, she loves zeebra, polka dots and the 80's. This is the design I came up with. Molly is handpainted, not stenciled (I had a picture to look at). The ribbons and buttons and flowers I added, plus the black splatter paint at the top. Oh and I can't forget the Ducky key chain!

And here are the things I included with the bag:
A zeebra paper lantern

A leopard coinpurse filled with Tootsie Rolls...she had never had these before as they don't have them in the UK

Some yarn because she wants to start knitting

And my enclosed greeting on a punk rock girl card and an extra Rocky Horror postcard, which she mentioned she loved too.

I had a BLAST putting this swap together, trying to coordinate everything and coming up with a design.
I hope you all enjoy it.
And Hannah I'm so pleased you liked everything so much! Cheesy

I got my HUGE tote from prettyandpetite over the weekend! I wasn't home so it was a nice surprise waiting for me.
This is the bag, covered in pretty light teal flowers with light blue fabric lining the inside:

This I tried showing how big it is- my iBook is 12 inches and the bag is at least 18 inches wide. I can carry a small army with me if I wanted Wink

Inside was a jewel studded duct tape wallet

3 different kinds of British candy- it was hard not to eat them all before pictures!

And some London playing cards

Thanks so much Hannah, I love it! Thanks for being a great partner  Grin

EDIT: Oh my God....The strawberries and cream candy is awesome!!! I must ration these otherwise they will all be gone today

I just got my tote from thetiniestspark this weekend and yay! It's a good, mid-sized tote. Black with little buttons on the front and back for symmetry, which I love, and it has red fabric lining, one of my favorite colors. There are little white hearts on the lining fabric that you can't really see in the photos.

Here the bag in action, filled with a couple of book, wallet, ipod.

And a happy surprise, my ibook fits in it!

She included japanese lunch for me; miso noddles, candy (some of which my sister ate before I was able to take these photos) and power rangers chopsticks. And I was totally thinking about that show 'cause I just saw a petsmart comerical about a dacusend and was all 'that's a cute dog...wtf, it that the black ranger?!?'

Okay, lilearthcreature must be busy right now, so I'm going to post pics of the bag I sent her.  I honestly can only tell you that I put a dream dictionary in it and gum and I don't remember the rest!!LOL
Here's the bag:

My daughter modeling the bag (she's almost 5' so you get the idea):

The inside material:

When Mara said she would like a Monster Bag, I was a little put off, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.  It turned out quite well and I got lots of compliments before I sent it!  She says she likes it a lot too.

First of all, I am so impressed and inspired by all the bags people have made for this swap. If anyone ever needed a reason to learn to sew, they'd only have to look at this thread.

Island-princess sent me this absolutely gorgeous brown tote bag with bamboo handles!

The outside:

The great velcro pocket (I love the look of the fabrics being swapped; you know, the dominant fabric on the outside becomes the accenting one on the inside):

And to give you some idea of the depth:

I'm experiencing a little bit of (first!) swap anxiety since her work is so sophisticated and professional and mine is so... not, but I know I'm not alone in that feeling. And this bag is more than able to make me feel better.  Grin Thank you so so so much to island-princess for being a great swap partner and to redheadmenace for pulling off this whole thing. I can't wait to see the rest of the bags you all made!

All I can say is WOW!  The messenger bag that SugarDuckie made for me is outstanding!  The pictures that I took do not do it justice...I wish all of you could feel the bag...the craftsmanship or craftswomanship rather is amazing.  The goodies inside are fantastic too...a little snake key fob, a cool roll up bag for my paintbrushes and a tin of ginger Altoids to ensure fresh breath.  Thanks so much!

Here's the bag...

And the contents...

The inside...

Gratuitous poolside lounging pic...

The bag rocks...I'm not worthy!

I got my bag a few days ago. I like it.

I got a cool messenger bag, a mousepad, this bag that is for electronic stuff that wipes off fingerprints, and a neat bracelet-making kit.
I thought my brother commandeered the electronics pouch, but I found it in my sister's room with a dinosaur in it, so I guess it's a dinosaur pouch.

This is what the bracelet kit made. It's really cool; the colors remind me of starburst candies.

The colors don't look quite that neon IRL, but it's sort of close.
I hope DayTripper likes what I sent him ^_^
