OKAY, I'm back with heaps of piccies (sorry dial-up users! But she just sent so much Grin)

Seriously, I had the most AMAZING time going through this package, as I told seaofstars, I'm real sick, stumbled out the front door to try and find the missing newspaper and tripped over this wonderful package! You should have seen me opening everything, my goodness, I was going crazy with delight, I got SO SPOILT and she just got everything so right, what a mind reader! Cheesy These pics totally don't do everything justice, but I love, love, love EVERY SINGLE THING in the package...she sent so many goodies and they were all wrapped up SO nicely, even the box had gorgeous stuff all over it, so here we go! Wink

Okay first...we decided to sent each other a little something from each of our countries, I got 4 awesome tins of Altoids to play with (YESSS!!), as well as Sour Starburst chews and 2 Wonka strawberry Taffy bars (Oh my gosh, am I in love...you will notice that there were only wrappers and a few starbursts left to photograph Tongue) She also sent a great letter on the cutest stationary with a paper doll envelope!

Next we have 2 bits of PRINTED felt *sqeal* Grin 2 rolls of gorgeous ribbons, one with rainbows and one with summery umbrellas, cocktails, olives etc. and 'up and away' badge from her awesome project and store, also 2 GORGEOUS covered buttons also from the store (awesome packaging!) A great decorated box with knit, purple and sew SCRABBLE LETTER magnets inside! Woohoo, I have so wanted some of these, which I haven't said ANYWHERE *twilight zone theme song*

Awesome fabrics!! The two on the left are my absolute fave's, mum's been trying to steal the other dots off me but I wont let her Tongue

Right: The softest yarn I have ever felt, I am so in love with it, I keep picking it up and feeling its softness, lol, and a Patons pattern booklet (I'm so making warm, soft legwarmers out of them!)

The most FABULOUS needle roll ever created, I love the fabrics to death, she got this just right! Smiley

Lined zipper pouch (woohoo!) with the fab 'up and away' bird appliqued on it, I love this bird, I've seen it so much in the store and have been coveting it for ever!

Now... for the peir de resistance (How on EARTH do you spell that? Tongue) CRAFTING APRON! *hyperventilate* Grin Grin It's grey with PINK stitching and two amazing appliques you are so damn neat Rach!) and it is so cute and frills out from the waistband and the pockets are LINED with the same gorgeous fabric that the strap is made of, and it is SO sturdy and yummy!

(Please excuse my un-animated poses, I had a whole scenario planned, flitting around the craft-room like a bee in my new apron, but was too dark, so grabbed mum and headed outside...god I need to teach that woman how to use a digital camera...what you see here is me majorly pissed off after 10 hours of her trying to take a photo and the camera turning off a million times because she was too slow Tongue UGH, LOL, so this is me in 'TAKE THE FRIKKEN PICTURE' pose Wink and the obligitory butt shot.)

and last but definitely not least, here are the gorgeous tags she made for my goods (which SO are not being given away, call me greedy but... Tongue) Aren't they fabulous.

As you can see on the right I've already used some ribbon to jazz up my staff ID and swipe card (edited so as not to reveal my true identity Tongue)

*Takes deep breath*

seaofstars, again, thank you SO MUCH, you just totally rock my world, words can't say enough.

K, here's what I sent the lovely seaofstars Smiley...

Here's the package all together, I had a total ball making this stuff as well as all the relevant fabric shopping and what-not Smiley
I sent: A reversible knitting/sewing tote bag, a sewing goodies bag, two handbound journals (I learnt how to coptic stitch at last!), felt and fabric patches, a crafty skull keyring, a decopages and fabric lined box and a few random buttons. The wrapped package on the left has some Aussie goodies in it as we thought it would be fun to do a mini country swap at the same time Smiley

Now for some detail piccies...

The journals, on the left is the mini one which is covered in some cute sewing themed fabric, the larger one (right and bottom) is covered in vintage wallpaper and vintage sewing and knitting images. The pages in both are tea dyed the the smaller one has ripped edges, the bigger one has neat edges Tongue

My fave thing was the sewing goodies bag, this is the third one I've made so I was very pleased with myself that it was pretty neat! *yay* lol, I've got a tute up around here somewhere for these bags as well as in my blog archives. Theres 2 layers of diff sized pockets, pin-cushion, needle book, stitch-marker or whatever holder, and a pencil/brush/needle/etc. roll. I thought this fabric was real cute Smiley

This was a reversible knit/sew tote with two internal and two external pockets with stencilled and embroidered patches on them so you can decide what mood you are in Wink

And the decopaged box with more vintage images on it, inside there were some felt patches and a few random things.

And that's it! Cheesy This was such a fun swap, and I'm waiting excitedly for my package, I'm so bad at waiting... Tongue
I can't wait to see more of what everyone came up with!

I received my package today from Kristen81 and I love it.  She made me the best tank top with a beautiful picture of candles burning.

This is the candles up close.

Kristen made me  a wonderful purse made out of fabric with fairies on it.  I love fairies.  It has pockets on the inside for my crochet hooks and such.

She also made me these cute pin cushions, they will fit into the top of a spool of thread.  Aren't they just precious?

Last and certainly not least a chocolate bar that had to go straight into the fridge for later.  Thanks Kristen for being such a great swap partner.

I got my package from dharma_rebel and I love it! Grin

First off, here is my new ginormous knitting tote! I am so happy to have something this big, so I can carry around all my projects at once. There are great long pockets inside for needles. It even has a little d-ring attachment to hold stitch markers! Truly a thoughtful knitter's gift. Not to mention that it's pretty much my favorite color of all time...

Here are two coordinating accessory pouches. They are both lined, and very sturdy. Perfect for all my little doo-dads! Rachel, I meant to ask you: where did you get the white sewing fabric? I LOVE it!

And finally, here are some beautiful stitch markers. I've always been a tie-a-scrap-of-yarn-on kind of girl, so I am thrilled to finally have some of these! The charms are knitting and sewing related.

THANK YOU, DHARMA_REBEL! You are a fantastic swap partner!

I received from Raindrops yesterday. She sent me a cute little painted box that I'm going to use to store some of my rubber stamps. She also send along two rubber stamps, two pieces of fabric (one plaid, the other with a sewing notion pattern on it), and a skirt pattern. Now I'm excited to get to work sewing and to use my new rubber stamps! Thanks so much, Raindrops!

Faeriegirlie pm'd me yesterday to let me know that she had received, so I thought I'd post pics of a few of the items I put in her package. She requested wrist pin cushions, so I made three for her. One is magnetic, one is woven and the other I just made with felt. I also made a needlebook for her.

Pictures of the cards I made along with some decorated candleholders can be found here. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/sets/72057594068963489/)

I also sent along some tags she can use, a sewing magazine and a craft book. I don't have any pictures of the whole package all together, so hopefully Faeriegirlie will post one later.

It came!!! It came!!!  Took it's time, whew!  How did the tank fit??

Glad you liked everything!

I saw pincushoins made like that at Michaels and thought it would be a good idea, I mean who DOESN'T jam pins into the top of spools of thread anyway, not you have a handy pincushion that fits in the top of a spool of thread.  Then I thought "I could MAKE that!!!"

Here is a pic from the side...they are glued to the top of a golf tee.

BTW, sunshine fairy where did you buy the fabric you used for the bag lining? It's amazing!
