Me too! I've been researching practical items because they get asked for a lot and I found such beautiful glorious rainbow things! Check out these lovely baskets and bowls:

Those are more larges than mediums but small versions could be made. I know I love doing patchwork, that can be sewn into so many items. Here's a zippered pouch I made that I think I'd consider a medium:

I was blessed enough to get an early pairing with BigBangMomma and to do a good deed for another person in the process!  She asked for what kind of journal I was looking for so here goes (PLEASE excuse all the rest of the background mess!):

This is the cover of a journal that was made for me years ago in a swap.  I use it as my gratitude/progress journal now.  I love the size of it.

A photo of the back of the journal.

This is how the papers are in the journal I have now.  I can't add new ones, and that makes me sad.  I am asking for a journal that has a three ring set-up, so I can add more papers to it.

I'm usually not so picky, but this is the EXACT copy of what I need on the papers in the journal.  It is immensely helpful for both me and anyone else that needs to know, what is happening each day and every other day of the week.

Yea, audio!

I found some rainbow items of my own to show off!  Here goes:

This is what my younger daughter was doing while everyone else was sleeping!!!!!!!!!   Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

After seeing similar items on the internet, I gave it a try.....

Believe it or not, the embroidery is rainbow.  I used a bright rainbow colored thread, alternating with pastel rainbow colored thread.

And our most favorite rainbow of all!!!!!!!!------->>>>>>

Rainbow the gecko, sister/friend of my beloved Elizabeth the gecko!  (When we first got her, she had shimmery pastel colors of the rainbow, hence, the name.)

Even though it's a bright, hot summer and a profusion of flowers are blooming wherever you look, there are still some grey days. I've had a few lately & I feel like I could use a little cheering up. How about you? Want to brighten somebody's day and have them shine a little glorious colour back into yours? Of course you do! And with 3 weeks of crafting time for a medium item, you can surely squeeze it into your busy summer schedule. I sure hope so because I know I am not the only one longing for a gallery full of beautiful ROYGBIV!

Details of swap:
For this swap we shall each craft a medium parcel for our partner. Official Craftster guidelines describe a medium as taking 2 or more hours to craft (not including shopping time, drying time, etc), some examples of which might be: one single necklace or bracelet, or a scarf, the relative price of which could equal: $10- $30.
***There's been some discussion about crafting one small item for each colour of the rainbow so please list whether you want to do that and also whether you want to receive that (the answer can be yes for only one of those options but if your partner is making you 7 smalls you may want to reciprocate with a large in return. I trust you to work it out in your chats because you are all so awesome like that). Extras are not required (again, discuss with your partner if you want to exchange those) but I think a personal note or card is always such a sweet thing to receive so please take the time to send a greeting, perhaps include an uplifting story or adventure you've had recently. Share something nice Smiley.

So sorry about Elizabeth, LBB.  Cry
I'm helpless to resist the call of the rainbow, and rainbow art by audio, but I'm not sure about the timing...trying to finish up some other projects this month as well... I'm glad there's a long sign-up period! I don't know what I want or what I'd make, but it would probably involve the spectrum of embroidery thread I pulled
together last year in anticipation of rainbow-crafting:

Well, if ever there was a sign... this was on a dictionary page I was cutting apart:

An instant, accidental "small"! Just kidding. Though it will most assuredly get included in whatever I make.

Ohhh, I lost track of time and thought tomorrow was the end of sign ups, lol. Silly me, there are still days to go.
Guess I could start some rainbowish crafts to tide me over. Did y'all see the lovely rainbow wire tree Killam Creative made for Wulf in the Open Tin swap?
Check this beauty out, totally gorgeous, right?

I'm vending today. I never do this but a friend is running a monthly flea market in Toronto's Kensington Market & I asked another friend if she wanted to go & share a table. It's really busy but no sales. & I remember so well why I don't do this kind of thing, lol.
