I received a very orange and turquoise-y package this afternoon from AMFkinney!  Be prepared to see a lot of loveliness!

I just HAD to take a photo of the wrapped goodies because the paper was so cheerful!  (And I saved all of it!)

A VERY soft turquoise infinity scarf that fits me perfectly!

A really cool tag!  I've never seen anything like it!

Washii tape and embroidery floss!!!!  The funny thing is, I bought myself the SAME EXACT tape!  Cheesy No worries, b/c I use it up quick!  I love slow cloth/boro stitching/TM patches, so the floss will come in very handy!

Adorable fat quarter of fabric with one of my favorite themes and colors!

Who can't use a planner?  Cheesy

Paint always comes in handy too!

LOOK AT THESE BUTTONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked ICE CREAMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!  Grin

Jaw dropping awesomeness!!!!  I adore the colors, the stitch, the heft of the yarn, everything!!!!

A different nifty tag, this time inside the purse.  I love it!

And look at the clever closure on this bag!  She had me fooled!  Wink  I tried to unbutton it first.  Wink

Even the card was chosen well!  I'm going to save it!

THANK YOU SO MUCH AMFKinney!  You hit all my likes right on the head!  I love it all!

kittykill and I decided to go all out and swap medium flat rate boxes.  I asked for blue and/or blue colors.
I got an awesome box of goodies on my doorstep yesterday.  She did a great packing job - lots of breakable things but nothing was broken even though the box was pretty smashed up.

All the goodies together - a sea of blue! Blue is such a calming color IMO.

First off - 2 hoops.  They will make a great addition to my wall of crafts in my craft room.  The cat one has been on my pinterest for a long time.  I love it!

2 adorable little saucers.  I haven't decided what to do with them yet.  I need to put them somewhere very visible.

The cutest little canvas

A zippered pouch with a shiny blue pen, blue bird washi and jelly sharks (I can't remember if they are called something else)!

A pretty blue/purple-y journal.  I took it to work this morning for my new To Do notebook.

And this bag!!!  I love it!  so awesome!

And I am in love with these magnets.  Are they drawer pulls?
Action shots:

Thank you kittykill for a great swap!

Whoop whoop my package of color arrived from bugaboo1 and wow did it pack a punch!  Recently we swapped and I fell in love with she sent especially the handmade soap and lip balm.  Well she delivered again with a bar of soap, chocolate lip balm and 2 yes 2 aqua crocheted wash rags. A bit of heaven!

I also got an awesome assortment of crafting supplies.  These came in both red and aqua my 2 requested colors!  Buttons, floss, a cute tape measure, take along scissors, 3 fat quarters and crafting tape.

I am headed to the casino on Sunday and sure hope this super cool beaded bracelet brings me luck since this will be worn that day!  I love it and just look at how small these beads are!

If you go back and look at the backdrop for my photos you will see that it is a table runner.  Bugaboo1 said she is new at weaving but can you believe that?  Not me just look at this masterpiece. Oh my as I sat and ate pizza I just kept lookking at it and thinking perfection.  How she made it to be the perfect size and in such a short time frame!  Blown away!  Such tiny thread!

And to close out my package a cute chalkboard t cup and such a cute handmade cats!

Thanks for such a wonderful well thought out and aqua and red package of things that really brightened my day and are making me feel so good!

Here's the pics I took of my package sent to zcrafter!

The crafted goods: button 'Z', bookmark, and TM butterfly patch

Back side of bookmark. This was all scraps from my stash and an 'easy' tassel made by taking an unopened hank of embroidery floss and cutting it in half or in this case I cut 1/3 off to make it a little shorter of a tassel. Got some yellow and white twine for $1 to tack it on there Smiley

Close-up on the TM patch! I made this a while back and was part of my ever-growing TM patch stash, and the colors were TOTALLY perfect to send in her package! I was super stoked! Super simple on this, really. Just a back stitch around the main graphic in coordinating color floss. Design itself already had a touch of gold in it and I didn't want to make it overly busy.

Look at how bright and cheery these colors are! Really fell in love with yellow since getting partnered up for this swap Smiley Was so fun to work on this and so therapeutic to sew on each and every button by hand with needle and thread.

Close-ups on more of the buttons

Backside has the year and my initials on it Smiley I am making an effort to 'sign' my pieces starting this year, don't know I've ever done that before.

And, stay tuned for my goodies!! I received today as well! What luck!!

OMG you guys, you're gonna have to see this to believe it! Endymion sent me the MOST AMAZING package!!! I swear to Gaia I cried a little bit opening it. It was so exciting!!!!

It's an Automaton! It's a fabric bird lady automaton!!!! I've never seen anything like it!! It's amazing right?!?!??!??! HOLY COW my jaw is still on the floor somewhere.  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked The medal around her neck says " I want to be improbable and afraid of nothing as if I had wings." Which is really inspiring and not a quote I've really heard. Beautiful and really, this is perfect for me. I have been quickly and finally moving forward with my life now and I feel very excited to be free.  Smiley More pics!!:

She sewed and embroidered and tinkered and... omg HOW?!?! I was looking at her pinterest and saw she had all this beginning automaton information which I thought was really cool and maybe I would like to try it one day but I had no idea she would make one for me?!??! YAASS

She even made the base cool?Huh Like where'd she get this "Purple edition" tin thing? Maybe a can? So brilliant! seems she rolled some of the tin around the crank too and made the handle for the crank out of clay! There's even a little celtic-braid-type edge along the bottom.

I think you can't really post videos here and I need to wait til my spouse gets home to try and take a video but then I don't know where to put it??? I want you guys to see it in action!!!

Here's the rest of the package!

Endymion's son made this voodoo doll and it has an amethyst in it! Her son is talented too!

She said she made these a while ago and these are just so great! I can't crechet worth shit so this frame is great and so cute and I've never received a journal like this before.  Shocked

it has all these different-sourced recycled pages in it!

GAH! I'm just so floored, You have no idea! and I tried to give everything justice in photos with my crap cell phone. Thank you SO.SO. MUCH. Endymion!

OMG - I was starting to worry that my package was being held up at Customs or just plain lost - but it made it!!!!!    It is chock full of blue goodies....

Birds have become a great joy in my life the last few years and she sent this lovely blue water coloured bird greeting card and lovely blue NewZealand merino wool.  Below are these two lovely sewn stuffed birds - I love the fabric of them.  I may save them for my Christmas tree or hang them from the light in the Craft room - am still deciding.  There is also this really pretty heart tassel - I am going to use that for our special keys - I don't want it to tangle and fray from everyday use.

This may be my favourite part of the package - a doggie hoop - in blue!!!!!  Two of my favourite things.  If you ever wonder how much I love dogs - I literally stop in the middle of sentences and conversations routinely to say, "OOOOOoooooooh - look at the doggie!!!!!" or just plain, "OOOOooooh - dog!!!!".  The volunteer coordinator knows when I work days, to try to tell me when the dog volunteers are booked to come to my unit, and when.  I am one of the few people who know the pet visitor policy well and how to find it so patients can have their dogs visit.  I.  Love.  Dogs.  Period.

Some great looking chocolate - I can't wait to find out what wattleberry tastes like.  Also sea salt and saffron - I suppose I have to share with Jim (sigh....)

A cool piece of coffee art - this may get framed and put up in the kitchen, and a bird tea light wrap.

... and last - but not least - three water colour bookmarks- the paper you used is fabulous, so thick.  I love the colours - they are so pretty.  I can't pick a favourite - I love the feather, and I love the whimsical birds - and I love my initial too - they are all fabulous!

Thank you Jeremiah - it was totally worth the wait and everything in it gave me a much needed spiritual boost!

Thank you also Kittykill for organizing and to the both of you for being patient with my arch nemesis - Canada Post!

I just got home from work and found a box from LadybugsAndBumblebees waiting for me!  It is so bitter cold here in the state of New York, it can be a bit depressing...so this box was a welcome surprise.  I opened the box to find all the goodies wrapped in my favorite color...PINK!

Wow, have I been spoiled!  Thank you sooooooooooo much.  And...we were both on the same wavelength (which is awesome) and made each other purses and scarves!

First I opened all these little treats that made me smile...pink bubble gum, pinky/purple morning glory seeds, beautiful tape that reads "love is the answer", the cutest little pink pineapple bracelet, the most adorable little pink change purse and tucked inside was this little tiny pink snail that you perch on the cup of tea and wrap your teabag string round it.  I have never seen anything quite like that and I am a tea drinker, so I will enjoy the little guy.

Then I opened a beautifully crocheted lavender and white scarf which is just perfect.

She also included a crocheted cover mason jar with a little light to go in it...LOVE IT!

Last, but not least I opened a crocheted purse made with yarn of a beautiful mix of all my favorite shades.  She chose a nautical theme creating waves in the pattern topped off with a nautical charm attached.  Just perfect!

The attention to detail of all my favotie colors and things is amazing, well thought out, and truly appreciated.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  The pictures do not do all this goodness justice.  All these beautiful colors bring me the hope of Spring...hopefully soon.

I am just blown away by all the yellow goodness that The Raging Sloth made for me! Totally spoiled me. So happy I can show everything now!

First, this amazing, intricate wrist cuff. Im no good at making things look distressed and layered; The Raging Sloth is a total master at that! Look at all the tiny stitching... I love that some of the embroidered leaves come away from the fabric background. And love the braided loop for the button. The little deer is such a quirky, fun element. Makes me smile! Ive already worn it twice.

This necklace is pretty amazing, too! Love the color-block effect, and the spiral web in the center. She does such detailed work!

I LOVE the Hufflepuff Teesha patch!!! Cant wait to figure out what to do with it!

Then there are ALL these extras!

Already tore into the packet of pineapple post-it notes, and clipped the flowers onto bins in my craft room, where they look so very cheery!

She made the large button with the hexagons herself!

Thanks, thanks, thanks!!! It was just the blast of sunshine I was hoping for.

My colors to zcrafter were shades of turquoise, teal, aqua. My package arrived in coordinating wrapping paper Smiley

What's that tucked in the corner, you ask?? Well, it was this awesome little squid-y jellyfish guy!!

As if that cutie wasn't enough (he was an EXTRA, btw!! Can you believe that??!) My fantastic medium item is around my neck, a gorgeous wool infinity scarf in a lovely teal.

Extras overload!! Snacks, bookmark (slightly buried, sorry!), note pad, wool dryer balls, and a tin of buttons in my fave colors. I've been wanting a set of wool dryer balls and now I've got some, so stoked!!

Thank you SOOOO much for everything! I know I'm going to enjoy it all Smiley

Oh man -- so much good stuff! Loving this gallery!

I received from lindyv321, who spoiled me rotten. Like seriously. I got a big ol' box of sunshine and am still smiling about it. Cheesy

Here's a photo of everything:

This was the first glimpse inside the box -- look at all that sunshine goodness! Cheesy

Closeups of the beautiful stuff she made. The bee tumbler is already at work with me and I will be using it every day! The altered house is just darling, and along with the flower art is on my kitchen shelf as we speak. (The flower frame says, "In a field of roses, be a wildflower." Love that so hard.

And some new jewelry! Woo-hoo! Adore this pineapple necklace (I'm a big Psych fan!) and the beaded bracelet. So pretty and I can wear my sunshine everywhere.

Thank you so much, lindyv321! I have enjoyed this box of sunshine so thoroughly. It has been a long winter, and this made it so much better!  Kiss
