You guys, I got *the* coolest thing from PerfectlyBohemian, oh my gosh. Talk about thinking outside the box! It is all good things, felted (the butterfly backing is cut from a sweater even), scrappy, upcycled, rusty fabric, a monarch (I LOVE them, did you stalk that out of me?), and orange. The colour of creative expression. It is very high on my list of favourites.

Lovely monarch caterpillar and chrysalis.

The butterfly with wings spread extra wide, as if to embrace life in all it's glory.
I can't capture it's loveliness completely, you will just have to believe me when I tell you these photos in no way do justice.

And the messages. It looks like she could not decide which of my pins to use and which to discard so she picked the best 4 and used them ALL. Brilliant.

A close up of the delicate felting and beading.

As I was posting this a message came from her that she was feeling nervous about my liking it. I'm sorry to laugh at your trepidation sweetie but I honestly did LOL Cheesy As if I would not love it completely. AS IF! Cheesy It will live in my craft room where all the best vibes are. Thank you so much Smiley.

I need to catch up on this gallery... Oh my gosh I love the badges, I need to figure out how to custom make designs on my embroidery machine...  So many lovely things...

But I am here to create my post and show of my goodies received from Kittykill.  You could say she spoiled me, but that just doesn't do it justice...

The giant box...

A workbook of lovely creative prompts.

A magic key <3 <3 <3

A giant mug full of chocolate therapy (and yummy coconut lip balm)

Finally... The piece de resistance...  An incredible, magical, fantastic work of art.

I just can't stop crying.  I am so touched, so extremely blessed, to have received such a wonderful, thoughtful, beautiful package.

OH. MY. STARS. You guys!! You won't believe the package I received from KittyKill today. She is such a dear friend and she showered me with incredible affirmations at a time when I really really needed it. I can't think of anything I would have liked to receive more on Valentine's Day!!

I've got a pretty serious coffee habit and frequently need a reminder to "get it" so this couldn't be more perfect! Really love the colors too.

Love this key and the saying that goes with it. I'll keep it close for good luck! And the lip balm is so yummy (don't eat it though Smiley). Did you make it, KittyKill? The container is super cute too.

I am weird!! Very accurate Cheesy. This is a really neat book of prompts. I'm going to take it to have in my office. It will be a fun distraction!

Last, but certainly not least, not one but TWO incredible pieces of embroidery!!

I love this saying - what a great reminder to have a little fun and liveliness each day! I really love the calligraphy writing and the sweet bunting. It's all ADORABLE! I think I'm going to hang this in my office (next to a couple of other KittyKill hoops I have there Smiley).

How cute is this?! I dare you to look at it and not smile. Dare you!! The writing is extra cool on this one - both the font and how it is filled in. I just adore it!

Thank you so much for everything, KittyKill. This package came at just the moment I needed a pick-me-up. You made me feel extra extra special Smiley. Love you, Lady!! XOXOXO

I received an AWESOME swap package from thatnate today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looky!  Shocked

Front of the mugrug.

Back of the mugrug.

A GORGEOUS embroidered tree with RAINBOW roots, on a fabric with ORANGE flowers!

I GOT A PATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I didn't realize how much I loved them till I got this one!   Grin  And it's raaaaiiiinnnnbbbboooowwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say...I've never swapped with thatnate before and we did not PM each other for this swap.  Yet, she must have stalked me so well to hit on so many of my favorite things to put together such a great swap package:  rainbows, tree of life, ladybugs, the color orange, cute woodland creatures (the hedgehog fabric)...

The mugrug is replacing the one on my end table right now.... Cheesy....I am definitely going to use the blue patch on the Teesha Moore pocketbook that I've been in the process of creating...I *might* use the tree on the tote too, I'm not sure....

Is all the embroidery on these beautiful items done by machine?

This gallery is shaping up to be incredible. Wow. The butterflies totally blew me away.
Im also really in love with the disorderly hoop. I want to be able to do random so badly, but Im naturally, well, orderly.  Cheesy

I had two packages in my mailbox this morning. The first was from Acadian Driftwood. A gorgeous prayer flag in turquoise and gold(!) with birds and wood grain. And, the simple saying live gently. Such a good reminder for me.

The second package was from Witchhippie. She sent me all the affirmations and then some. She totally must have stalked me good because right on top wear a stack of paper canning jars!

Up next was a mini booklet

Followed by an envelope full of positivity.

I am going to put some of these up on my mirror and others I will hide around town for others to find. Thank you both, so much.

I had my package from Cabaute for a couple days, but the pictures on my phone weren't  clear and I had to wait until I had some time at home to take them with my camera. It's so cute, I really wanted to show it off! I'm going to see the musical 'wicked' in may, and I'm a bit obsessed with the sound track. My pinterest board also has a bunch of quotes, so she picked a great theme for me. The extra was a decorated envelopw with lots of encouraging quotes for my projects.

The main piece was this altered altoid tin. It has "I'm defying gravity, and you'll never bring me down!" written on the window, with a picture of the witch inside on a galaxy background.

even the back is decorated in patterns and color

she also made me this pendant with "defy gravity" on a copper disk, along with a green stone, my favorite color.

I've really appreciated this package, and the encouragement from this swap!

I received from LadybugsAndBumblebees today, & she wasn't kidding about picking up a lot of extras...

(The zipper pouch says "choose joy" on it)  This isn't even quite everything, since it was all wrapped in paper covered in shapes to color, too.

And a close-up of the lovely hoop she embroidered

(back views)

Thank you, LB&BB!

I received from craftylittlemonkey yesterday! She created an altered spool with a hidden message I can keep private and take to work with me for strength to get through hard days. The package had great timing too since I've had a really hard couple of weeks lately and yesterday felt like things weren't getting better any time soon.

The spool has lots of beautiful beads and ribbons in my favorite combination of colors, with a stamped and embroidered fabric strip wrapped around the middle that says "the way out is through". The little stamped hearts were a very warming extra touch, too:

My car is often a hiding place for me, so I hung it on my mirror in my car for now, but hope to migrate it as needed to other places.

I also finished up my craft to me last night, but I'm waiting for CLM to receive before posting due to similarities.

SaraSmile's tin is just wonderful! Wow!

Yay, Wren, so glad it arrived and you like it Smiley.

I received two wonderful parcels today. First from gala_apples this set of awesome fridge magnets with different one word positive mini-statements on each. They are a firm but still sort of squishy material, I don't know what it is. It's great though because if the kids knock one off the fridge they seem like they will not break easily, maybe even bounce! There was also this nice love hearts square which I quite like, I must be the only person who thinks those things are tasty, ha ha.

And this, also a magnet (glad I put that on my Q!) from Acadian Driftwood, it is tiny and perfect. Look at the close up, how wonderful!

I received a beautiful package from rangerbeth.  My l.o. was so excited to check the mail that she left a trail of bills running back from the mailbox.  I guess I'm going to craft her some thing to receive in the mail too. Any ways these are my goodies...

My extra - a t-shirt

my main- a hand dyed tea towel, i didn't realize that I cut off the bobbles on the bottom when I took the picture.

I love them both Thanks!

My project for myself. A bright reminder to be in the moment. I'll buy or make a cushion insert. It'll stay on the couch in my craft room.

Backed with a piece of beautiful indigo shibori, I love using that stuff on projects Smiley.

I received from Rosie1981 today and I absolutely love it! She sent a magnet with a great reminder on it be: silly honest kind. She also included a scrabble tile pendant that says be fabulous (always!), and magnetic bookmark (love these!) that says dream big. I absolutely adore the colors and all of these sayings speak my language. Thanks for a great package, even the packaging was pretty!
