After accepting my dad's old record collection and sorting it into keep/sell/donate, I still had a bunch that were either damaged or just... things no one would want.  Tongue

So I gave one right back to him in the form of this 3D hawk!

The pattern I drew up slots 3 pieces together, but they were a little loose so I ended up hot gluing them in place. I touched up the glue with black paint so it wouldn't be noticeable.

It's now hung above some plants in my dad's office, and looks pretty nice there.

I also made some more simple ornaments to give to family and friends for Christmas - 3 bears, 2 cats, and 1 leopard gecko!

For all of these, I used a woodburning tool with a razor blade attachment to cut through the vinyl, and then a thin tip to burn a small hole for hanging. I smoothed out the edges a bit with 120 grit sandpaper.
