I hope I don't get my packages mixed up!

I got a package from Mary Christmas as well!! My obsession for notecards only grows when I get a boatload like this!  The sweater motif is the wrapping paper...which I am keeping for future use...love it all!

awww...this one is a keeper...too cute!

Next, I received from Some Other Bubbles...oh no...

I got a whole bag of fabric scraps for my Wounded Warrior quilts...and some of the coolest repurposed and revamped cards...I am so doing this, so thanks for the great idea!!

ha ha Here is my favorite!  This Secret Santa has a warped sense of humor like I do...I so relate to all of the cards...

Then, all the way from a Secret Santa in Kansas...this lovely flag fabric..which I will use to make an auction item for our local fire department...It is perfect for a tote or table runner...or...

and for me, she made the cutest bunting for my new remodeled fireplace!!  It fits perfectly and is reversible!

last but not least...we have a sneaky santa who calls herself Guess Who...I did not list these on my wishlist, but commented how much I loved these crochet topped towels...sneaky stalker hit the nail on the head with these very funny towels!!

Already in use...and very appropriate since I eat eggs every morning for breakfast! Love them!

Thank you so much Secret Santas!

I received from two Secret Santas today!

First, from "decorative gourds"

What is in this adorable pumpkin pouch, you ask?

Oh my goodness, aren't those adorable embroidered pumpkins?! I haven't decided if I'm going to put them in hoops for my hoop wall, or incorporate them into something else. But they're so nice I'm going to be sure before I do anything.

And that's not it!

Pumpkin themed double pointed knitting needle holders! These are so handy and awesome! Whoooo! Thank you thank you!

And from the ubiquitous bubbles...

(Note the pumpkin censoring - doesn't everyone have pumpkin-shaped potpourri on their desks at work?)  Origami paper is so so me, I go through a lot if it between the cranes and gift boxes I fold!

Santa said they didn't know why they got these when they did, but after seeing my pinterest, knew I would appreciate them. And boy do I! I did almost kill a co-worker, though, in my excitement I showed them to her while she was eating and she almost choked with laughter.

And look at the wee fox embroidery and the pumpkin buttons! How awesome! Thank you so so much, it's all so perfect!

I feel bad about my packages now, with how well my Secret Santas got me just right. You guys are awesome!

Since other people were opening, I went ahead and caved and opened mine.

I got two lovely wrapped packages...

The first one was lovely yarn with a really interesting composition - there's soysilk and chitin in it!

I'm planning to make this shawl with it:

The second package was a tentacle ring!  (Sorry for the black and white, it was the only way I could get the tiny suckers to show up properly!)  I've already worn this the last few days, even though it's probably not strictly "work appropriate". Smiley

Thank you to both these Secret Santas!!

The next package from VA.  Super cute felt hand bound book and a mini coloring book!  So cute!  My daughter loooooves everything!  We couldn't wait till Christmas

Thanks so much guys!!

Another post-holiday picture dump here.

First up, from "Mary Christmas", a whole bunch of tie-dyed awesomeness!

I have already worn each of the shirts at least twice already!  Thank you so much!

And the second package...
- These are chalkboard paint votive holders that we can use at our wedding!
- Harry Potter + Romance themed ornament!

Thank you to both of these Secret Santas!

Finally, photos of the rest of my gifts!!

First, a tea package from kittykill!

TWO tea strainers (a cat with a big fish, and a whale), plus a delectable assortment of tea. I'll be a happy, tea-sipping camper for quite some time this winter.  Grin I'm pretty giddy about the card, too. I received this right before I left on my trip, but I was too sick to function.  Tongue

Then I got home, and there were three packages waiting, plus UTM's holiday card! I was only expecting one!

First, from swap superstar and co-organizer Smeddley, I got a new spindle and a bag of fire-starters!

I'm going to use the living daylights outta all this.  Cheesy

Next, LadybugsAndBumblebees sent a bunch of goodies, with the highlight being ATCs!
[
Two ornaments (yes, I did lick the candy cane to make sure it wasn't a Twizzler. It is, in fact, plastic.  Cheesy), winter tissue pack (why do I never buy these for myself? So necessary!), and squishy dog card!

And finally, framed artwork and candy from fluffypants!

Check out this dapper guy! He looks like a Maurice to me. Pardon the glare; if you need a cleaner pic, fluffypants, I can de-frame it and re-photograph.

Thanks to everyone! Being the ringmaster of this covert circus is already such fun, and you all made it even better!  Kiss

Secret Santas visited my house twice this weekend!

I got a package from "bubbles" and then from......not saying, but I know!  Cheesy  You guys guys guess...it will be revealed in the end!

From Bubbles: a fantastic prayer flag, an issue of Cloth, Paper, Scissors (ha ha to help me with my papercrafting that I have been lamenting about!), and a cute card!  Hint:  the back of the prayer flag is indigo dyed fabric...ha ha ha perfect!

Next, from NYC (that is a hint), a package that means so much to me...notecards made with help from a craftster child, now a young lady, and craftster herself!: red/white, and blue scraps for my Wounded Warrior quilts...a card with a personal and heartwarming memory, a sweet candy cane ornament, and lots of love!

Nicely wrapped!

Thanks you both!

I took some close-ups of my favorite cards but they turned out blurry, so I will retake them tomorrow morning...they are quite inspirational...and so me!!!

I received from 2 of my Secret Santas as well.  And they both spoiled the heck outta me!  Thank you both for the lovely cards!  I'm going to add them to our wall of cards this year. Smiley

First off I received this lovely gift to donate to charity!  75 amazing wish bracelets!  Talk about perfect timing because we also received the IRS determination letter establishing Small Things Matter as a 501(3)c on the same day!  Smiley  Secret Santa you are going to be the first person that I can send a donation letter to so that you can claim it on your taxes and you can qualify to be a STM partner!  Thank you so much for your kindness! Smiley

My Secret Santa also sent this lovely gift for Lana.  Lana wants to wait till Christmas to open it.  She's killing me.  I don't want to wait.  I was tempted to take it somewhere and upwrap it and then rewrap it.  Thank you for spoiling us!

My second Secret Santa spoiled us as well.  I squealed as soon as I saw the pouch.  I loved this idea and I am now a proud owner of one of her famous house pouches.  What was inside was equally lovely....a little shroom ornament. He is so kawaii and we can't wait to add him to our Christmas tree!

Thank you both sooo much!!

I received a lovely package of goodies, I'm not saying who from but there's no keeping this one a secret, lol.

Non-slip oven mitt and pot holder to protect my hands from hot oveny things! And chocolate, I am rich with delicious chocolate, mmm. The sparkly glass tree ornament is safely perched atop the piano to keep it from being mangled by our dangerous children, lol. I like it so much I think I'm going to start a collection of those and build a village centre-piece. Fun!

Check out these adorable cuties, my gosh they are both amazing but that little fish is too, too much!

I'm beyond thrilled to be the recipient of one of these famous hooplahs. This wee bird is ridiculously fantastic.

Just look at the stitches! I can't even...

Thank you "secret" santa Cheesy I love it all, XO.

I finally checked my mailbox on the weekend and two marvelous packages were waiting for me!

First, from the ever-so-industrious Bubbles (who really does seem to be just one very busy person, as I see some similarly crafted items in other packages).. Some nicely pieced festive fabric notecards

And some Super Mario mushrooms for the tree. The husband and I are both fans, and these are lovely (and festive with the red & green too).

Interestingly, "Bubbles" turns out to be a very close neighbour to me!   Grin

Next from another mysterious Santa, what's in the big leafy bag?

It's... a learn-to-crochet kit!

And my Santa noticed I had taken it off my list, but don't worry. It's still something I wanted (and something I've wanted to learn forever), I just had doubts about what it actually could be as a craft swap item. I thought to myself "What are they going to send me, just yarn?" But my Santa didn't have that problem and I got a nice big project bag, The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller (excellent - I've got Stitch N Bitch), hooks, stitch markers (had to look that up in the book), and - yes, yarn too.

Thank you to both of my Santas!

Here are the photos from my wonderful Secret Santa package, which I received this afternoon:

That cracked me up!

One for me, one for my older DD!  I love the wrapping and how the string is wrapped around it!

Could there be any more suitable beads (ladybugs and bumblebees) for me??!!  The washii tape is awesome and I need to figure out what to do with the two cute little scraps of ladybug fabric...maybe put it on my "happy board"...

And something that is not only beautiful, but sorely needed!!!!  I have been blessed in that my etsy shop has made enough sales for me to go thru all my ladybug themed stationery (I write my 'thank you for your order' in one and send it with the order).  I never would have thought to sew the fabric onto the card.  It looks like it was done by hand, too!

Thank you my Secret Santa who I know and who is such a kind person and I appreciate all the goodies!   Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Lana finally opened up her 2 Secret Santa gifts!

OMG!!!  Thank you both for the amazing wonderfulness that was inside.  I can't find the pic I took of them wrapped (I'm sorry), so I'll have to go straight to the awesomeness.  There was much squeeeing about both of these wonderful gifts!!!

Thank you Secret Santa 1 for Lana's amazing hat!!!  The color, fit, everything is sheer perfectness!!!  I think her smile says it all!

Thank you Secret Santa 2 for Lana's unicorn hat/scarf.  It is adorable, amazing, and sooo kawaii!!!!  Am I bad for thinking that I could wear it too?

Lana will be rocking both of these lovely hats for a long time to come! Thank you both for spoiling the heck outta us.  You made my baby so very happy and I treasure your kindness to us.  Merry Christmas all!!! Rox & Lana
