I have received from ChameleonHound!  She went with several (maybe all?) of my themes.  And cleverly included kitties in most of them Smiley

the front

the back

the cards out of their pockets to avoid glare

look at the little kitty face peeking out!

I love this

this is really cool - is it acrylic paint over crayon and scratched off?

adorable

all the goodies

thanks so much!  I love all the different techniques you used.

Finally I get to post this, I had internet outage and finally this morning no electricity! Too much rain in Ireland, wouldn't you think that we would have learned to cope with it by now.

Anyway I am now on  fast internet...yay so i can share you the wonderful PL from quaggy. She went with my theme of flamingos. And I love this, it is so cheery in all the rain

The whole thing out of the covers.

The back with the really cool stuff, including this brilliant pendant!! I love this.

gratiutous close up cleavage shot

some of the individual ones. I love this quote

The watercolour (?) is brilliant

this is my favourite. Although it is really hard to choose a favourite

and these are my two PL together, look how brilliantly they go together, I am considering taking them out of the pockets and putting them into a frame for a big picture, what do you think?

this was a brilliant swap, thanks for organising geekgirl

I'm loving all the pocket letters that have been posted the past week!

Check out this really cool PL I got from bec99, and sorry it took me so long to post pics:

She chose the Quotes from My Pinterest theme, with some other themes like birds and spring mixed in there too. And everything was fantastically colorful, including the paper it was wrapped in! Lots of goodies too.

Here are some of my faves close up. The one with the red background says "May my heart be kind, my mind fierce and my spirit brave" - Kate Forsyth.

Thanks Bec!

I am so ashamed as life has been a little wild here.   I did get my pocket letter from Edel when I arrived back Monday but chose not to open it until I had hers in the mail.   Well I am still toting hers around in my purse.........  The weather has been awful flooding all around and rain rain rain.  The end of our school year was today so my days have been 14 hours long at work and not even a moment to leave to head to the post office.  Tomorrow is another full work day as we have to bus all 3 high schools into Houston for graduation on Saturday. If they do not cancel and move it to our college here in town  3 separate  bus trips so Saturday is gonna be a long 16 hours.  Anyway I gave up as I did not want to open my pocket letter from her until the one I made for her was sent but after today I caved.  Hers will go in the mail tomorrow if I have to sneak away.  A little behind on my other partners, but Monday in the mail for hers, since I still have a little to do on Sunday.

Anyway I so needed this!   Here is my pocket letter from Edel......she went with my dragonfly theme and I can only hope the shimmer of these little beauties shows up.   All hand made!

Edel decorated the back with a cute paper.....some of the stuffers came out of their pockets so I just kinda added them back in random places.

Thank you so much Edel...yours will hit the mail tomorrow and I will pm when it goes out!!!!!

I love my pocket letter and now need to find time to go get a binder................

I received from kbrison! She used a variety of my themes and interests across the entire pocket letter.

She came up with so many unique and interesting items for the pockets! Including cards, stickers, an owl patch, die cuts, tags, etc. They all matched the theme of the card!

Details:

The Mickey uses a washi tape roll (which she included loose since it wouldn't fit in a pocket)

I love the quilled daffodils!

I also love the flames on the phoenix:

Thank you so much, kbrison! I love the range of techniques as well as all the awesome goodies. Grin

Here is my pocket letter from Smmarrt  She chose to go with my sewing theme and love of vintage!  She used vintage patterns and the tissue cutting pattern is the base.  I love the overlay of the cutouts from the pattern front.

I love how the dart, dress back, simplicity, buttonhole center pieces of pattern were used.  This was so well thought out!

Here are my goodies that came stashed in the pockets!

Paintchips with heart and bird clips, mason jar tags, dot stickers, and  hearts card with wasabi tape, 2 wooden letters, and a small journal.

Here are my favorites!

Thank you so much Smmarrt I love my pocket letter!

Thank you

I received my p.l. from Grufflepuff. She chose my Zombies theme and came up with this great p.l. based on Zombieland (a personal favorite).

She decorated the outside with a great retro look and used items that I can reuse.

Here is the front of the p.l. If you aren't familiar with the film, the narrator talks to the viewer throughout the film about the important "rules" to survive the zombie apocalypse. Some of those are listed here in the p.l. Smiley

Back:

Thanks grufflepuff. I love it and I am sorry it took me so long to post pics.

I received a fantastic Craftster-themed pocket letter from Treemoon. Look at this:

Here are the rows - love that she used screen shots for the backgrounds:

The goodies in the back were great also - charms, brads and mini metal tags, beads and homemade rolled magazine beads, 2 pairs of earrings (love the HP ones!), a choker and some punch-outs.

Thanks so much - I often include Craftster as a theme but no one really ever likes that idea. I do and I think this pocket letter is fantastic - thank you!!

Here is my amazing, AMAZING!!, pocket letter from curiousfae. Harry Potter!!

Note to all swappers - it is hard to take photos on your phone while ATCs are still in the plastic. I left my real camera at school! Arrgghh!

The cards show (from left to right):

First row: Always, my Hogwarts acceptance letter with supplies lists, the school crest
Second row: Monster book of Monsters, Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, Sirius Black's wanted poster
Third row: Marauders Map, train ticket, wand and spell

A mini felt Monster Book of Monsters! Adorable!

Another favorite!

The back is filled with all the goodies one needs to make more pocket letters! Die cuts, clips, wood tags, stickers, sticky notes, washi tape, paper tags and adhesive jewels. Plus a letter from the maker, curiousfae. I didn't open it until photos were taken but I will read tonight and answer when I complete your PL.

Thanks so much! The details are fantastic - the map opens and folds, my letter from Hogwarts - I just love miniature things so I love it all! Thanks so much, Kelli!

I'll add that I would also do a personal swap for a pocket letter.
And if someone wants to do one without buying a whole package of 9 pocket pages, I would send you one first so you can try it out before jumping in and going crazy with supplies Smiley

ChameleonHound - I agree - very cool to receive.

Welcome back lylacfey - There are several of us definitely interested in this being a recurring swap.  I will probably post some questions soon and ask people for feedback on frequency, rules, etc.

I did not check mail yesterday and went to run errands this morning and checked it then.  And I'm glad I did.  I received my pocket letter from Edel.  I've been feeling under the weather and it was the perfect pick-me-up.  And while I was out and about I went ahead and picked up a 3-ring notebook to store it in.

Edel went with my cat theme.  I have been waffling on whether I like pocket letters better with just one theme or several themes and this may have put me over on the single theme pocket letter side.
It's fantastic!  I love it.

Oh and a word of caution to everyone: be careful opening these.  If you are sitting in your car and rip into it, things might go flying out  Shocked

The front, including glare.
I just love the little hand-drawn cats and those curly whiskers - so. cute.
And I love how the cats are standing on the washi tape surfaces.

Since there was glare (and I am not sure how to avoid that other than removing everything from the pockets) I took some close ups of sections:

And the back: the all matching backs looks so nice.  Mine definitely had more of a hodgepodge look on the backside Smiley

Finally back on here to post pictures, it has been a very busy weekend, it was a public holiday weekend here in ireland and we have been having sunshine!! days and days of sunshine, plus some old friends from Australia visited...it was a blast...which means I didn't get to post this amazing pocket letter that I got from our wonderful organiser. I LOVE IT!!

FLAMINGOS!...I looooove flamingos..check this out. I took everything out of the pockets as the flash was affecting the pix .

I love the mix of seaside and and flamingos, And I really love the themes. The pointillism flamingo, my favourites are the quilled one and the tangrams one. And she was sooo generous with extras, there were some really cool bits of paper ephemera in this. And if that all weren't enough, she sent me some of her brilliant colouring pages cards. Such a clever idea

this has been a brilliant gallery!! and a great organiser.

When I received my partner's questionnaire, I was so glad that I had asked for ATCs that told me more about her and/or her location. I've admired phoenixfiredesign's art for several years, so it's wonderful to see some of the things that inspire her. These ATCs show her love of Disney, HP, owls, steampunk, and "Back to the Future".

Back view showing the goodies and the notes on the ATCs.

Close up of the ribbon flowers, sticky tabs and notes, steampunk paper clips, beads, stamps, and brads and eyelets. I already have plans for the flowers. The stamps and brads are likely to be showcased on the next cards I make. That's going to be so much fun!

Phoenixfire not only sent the pocket letter but she also used the ATC backs to tell me more about herself and why certain images were reflective of her life and activities.

These were my favorites. What's not to love about anything Hogwarts? The bat on the Haunted Mansion is a resin piece that phoenixfiredesigns molded and painted herself. She's so talented!

My pocket letter may have had to make two trips to finally reach me, but it was well worth the wait. Thanks so much for having been my partner, phoenixfiredesigns!
