Miniatures have become a recent interest for me, and when I found out that Alpha Stamps has a pre-cut storefront room box, well, that just solidified my need to make this tiny bakery. I stocked it with macarons, croissants, bread, cookies; oh! I can almost smell the deliciousness.

Most of the breads are made from polymer clay and push molds, and are coloured with soft pastels and coated with gloss varnish. The apron is a scrap of stamped fabric trimmed with ribbon.

I bought a standard dollhouse outdoor light fixture for the storefront, which I painted with acrylics to better match the decor. The indoor light is a dollhouse bulb with a paper shade.

The long table is balsa wood pieces and these table legs.

There is a short tutorial on my blog on how to make impossibly easy cakes and to see how the rest of this project came together.

Bon Appetite!
