WOW!  Such awesome projects everyone!  What a great job!  Love that quilt gozer!  It turned out awesome even after all the challenges it gave you.  That sandman atc is genius!  Love the misfit toys!  So cute!

Now finally at the end of the month, I have a tiny bit of time and a major project dump coming!

Prompt:  December- Battle Royale- West
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Nightmare Before Christmas Ornaments
Project Link:
Brief Description: Every year at work we do a Festival of the Trees with every classroom.  We have to pick a theme then make ornaments based on that theme.  This year our theme was Nightmare before Christmas.  I made these character ornaments (Jack face, Sally face, Jack shirt, Sally dress and the spiral hill for a tree topper) for the kids to create.  Tim Burton was born in California so that is why I picked the west for this battle.
Project Picture:

Prompt:  December Flash Mob
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Schmetterling!
Project Link:
Brief Description: Every year my grief friendship group does an ornament swap.  I always do something with butterflies as that is what I use as my symbol for my babies.  This year I drew a butterfly onto the ornament, then filled it with 7 pink/blue pompoms for my babies.  I am of German heritage and the word for butterfly in German is schmetterling Wink
Project Picture:

Prompt:  December- New Zealand
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points:
Project Name: travel tissue holder
Project Link:
Brief Description: New Zealand has a lot of farms.  Those farms have sheep.  Sheep produce wool.  Felt is often made from wool.  This travel tissue holder is made out of felt.  I didn't have a pattern, just saw one and created from there.  Made these for my two partners in the Quick Stocking Stuffer Swap.
Project Picture:

Prompt:  December- Japan
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Snowman ornament
Project Link:
Brief Description: This little snowman is made out of wooden beads and pompoms.  I just think he is too cute.
Project Picture:

Prompt:  December- India
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Cow picture frame
Project Link:
Brief Description: My maiden name begins with "cow" so my mom has collected cow items since she got married.  I made this picture frame for my parents for Christmas with a picture of their grandchildren Wink  Grandchildren are precious as are cows in India Wink
Project Picture:

Prompt:  December- Galapagos Island
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points:
Project Name: I do science
Project Link:
Brief Description: This "I do science" hoop was made for BriannaB03 in the Quick Stocking Stuffer Swap.  Darwin also did science.
Project Picture:

Prompt:  December- Egypt
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Homemade Gesso
Project Link:
Brief Description: For my research project, I needed gesso but didn't want to spend the money on it since I will probably need quite a bit of it.  I looked up how to make it, found a tutorial on youtube and went for it.  It turned out pretty good.  I have not tried it on the project yet but it does resemble the store bought gesso so I am guessing it will be the same.  Gesso was found in the tombs of ancient Egypt as paintings on the panels and sarcophagus.
Project Picture:

Prompt:  Red Alert- Holiday Spirit
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Medal Holder
Project Link:
Brief Description: My daughter runs cross country and track and has been earning lots of medals.  I decided to make her a medal holder so she is able to display her winnings and be proud of them instead of just piling them on her dresser.  I included a Bible verse about running onto the top.  She said she liked it and that's good enough for me!
Project Picture:

Prompt:  Red Alert- New Year's Resolution
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Winter Beanie
Project Link:
Brief Description: I have seen these little hats in the past and always wondered how they were made.  I recently saw a tutorial on Facebook and decided it was easy enough to try.  They are very easy to make and now that I did one, I know how to tweak it in the future to make it fuller.  They are nice and small, I am thinking of making one for each of my babies and put them in their memory boxes.

roler received her package from me for the Stocking Swap several days ago, but I'm just now getting a chance to post everything I made for her.  Project Dump Alert! (LovelyMiss -- I sincerely apologize for how "out of order" these prompts are - I made a photo boo-boo, as you'll see down below.)

Prompt: Red Alert - Holiday Spirit
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: Upcycled Necktie Headband
Brief Description: I made this headband out of an upcycled necktie and a flower buckle as one of roler's stocking stuffers in her Swap Package this past Christmas.  Since the tie slides through the buckle, it's totally adjustable.
Project Picture:

Prompt: Red Alert - New Year's Resolution
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: Upcycled Necktie Headband #2
Brief Description: As I have watched my stash swell exponentially over the last couple of years (and considered how much money I've been spending on craft supplies), I've thought a great deal about how nice it would be to start stash-busting and upcycling items I already have instead of buying new materials.  roler had a ton of awesome necktie crafts on her Pinterest, and since I had several neckties I no longer wear for work, I figured that would be an excellent place to start.  Unlike the previous one, this one uses elastic for sizing purposes.  (I hope it wasn't too snug, roler!)
Project Picture:

Prompt: January - Brrr
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: Upcycled Necktie Cup Guard
Brief Description: I up cycled this necktie into a coffee cup guard to prevent roler's hands from heating up too much when she's drinking her hot coffee/tea in cold weather.
Project Picture:

Prompt: January - C.O.L.D.
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: +10 Letter Bonus
Project Name: Completely Outstanding Lady's Decoration
Brief Description: I upcycled this necktie into a decoration for one of our craftalong's Completely Outstanding Ladies - roler!  It's definitely my favorite out of the upcycled necktie crafts I did for her swap package.
Project Picture:

I COMPLETELY forgot to take a picture of the perler bead decorations I made for the Nerdy Element of roler's swap package, so I am borrowing the pic she posted in the swap thread.  This photo is for the next four prompts:

Prompt: December - Galpagos Islands
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: Animal Crossing perler ornament
Brief Description: The Galpagos Islands are well known for the uniqueness of their ecology.  The leaf I crafted in perler beads is also part of the unique botany of another location -- your hometown in the Animal Crossing games.
Project Picture: (see above)

Prompt: January - Frozen Tundra
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: Totoro Santa perler ornament
Brief Description: Totoro made a journey up to the very cold locale of the North Pole to help out Santa for the holidays (note his souvenir hat from the journey).
Project Picture: (see above)

Prompt: December - New Zealand
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: Hobbit perler ornament
Brief Description: Y'all have already firmly established that New Zealand = Middle Earth/the Shire.  I chose this particular design for a hobbit perler ornament because it's actually based off of a Super Mario Bros. sprite.  (Two times the neediness, huzzah!)
Project Picture: (see above)

Prompt: December - Egypt
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: Gandalf perler ornament
Brief Description: Surely the most well-known example of ancient Egyptian architecture must be the pyramids.  Gandalf's pointy hat features a similar triangle design.  (This one is again a video game cross-reference -- this time with Final Fantasy.)
Project Picture: (see above)

Lastly, I wanted to reveal the two "secret" projects I submitted back on Page 19, since they were by far the 2 biggest components of roler's swap package.

Here is the stocking I made.  It was by far the most ambitious sewing project I'd ever completed to date.  (It's the same pattern I'm using for my current Research Project):

This is the first time I ever attempted any kind of quilting.  I did bands of alternating width on the front side:

And I loved this fabric so much, so I figured I'd save it for the stocking back:

My favorite part of the stocking is actually the lining.  Oh my gosh, I was never so scared to mess up a craft in my life -- after spending 2 days on the stocking exterior, I had to sew it shut into the lining!  I thought I was going to mess it up for sure, but it came out just like it was supposed to.

This TARDIS canvas box is "supposed" to be a Magic: The Gathering deck holder, but I'm sure roler can find any number of nerdy treasures to store inside. Wink

bunny1kenobi - yeah... I think she might have had a choc biscuit or something before taking the photo... Shocked  Wink

And more projects from me!! YAY!! More points for Team Multimedia!! Cheesy

Prompt: RED ALERT - New Year's Resolution
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: N/a
Project Name: HP Coasters
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: There was a lot of talk on the Silhouette FB group about making coasters, using vinyl. I've never used Vinyl before with the Silhouette (I made these before the Jacksonville Jaguars ones I posted for the December Battle Royale) and had to think about a non-ornament item for my swap partner in the HP Holiday swap as he didn't have a Christmas Tree. So I decided to give vinyl a go. Smiley
Project Picture:

Prompt: JANUARY - Frozen Tundra
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: n/a
Project Name: Winter Tags for Crop Swap
Project Link: N/a
Brief Description: The quarterly tag swap came up again, and I decided on a wintry scene. This is made using the Silhouette to cut the Snowglobe shape, PanPastels for the colouring and stamps. Definitely in wintry/frozen colours.
Project Picture:

Prompt: FEBRUARY - Edward Scissorhands
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: N/A
Project Name: Monogrammed Napkins for MIL
Project Link: N/A
Brief Description: More use for Vinyl!! Smiley The cutting was all done by the silhouette (but weeding had to be done by myself... phew!! FIDDLY!!
Project Picture:

Prompt:  JANUARY - New Zealand
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: n/a
Project Name: HP Ornament
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: I had a bit of a block for the January prompts ... so I had to go with colours. I googled "New Zealand" and there were all those fantastic photos popping up with LOTS of blue - skies, sea, lakes .. fabulous. The blue bauble used for this Ornament reminded me of those blues. The Vinyl lettering spells "Accio Christmas". Wink
Project Picture:

Prompt: FEBRUARY - Basket Case
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: N/a
Project Name: Blue Beetle Bag & Case
Project Link: N/A
Brief Description: And the last bit of vinyl for this round I think... Wink In Scotland they now charge for bags at shops (yes, paper bags cost as well... EVEN THE ONES AT MCDONALDS, would you believe!!!! All bags are 5p now!), and while I have lots of cloth bags around which I frequently use, hubby thought they're too fiddly and bulky. So I came across a plain fold up shopping bag with a clip .. and given hubby's love for Blue Beetle (and you cannot get Merchandise with his logo at all!!) I just used vinyl to personalise it for him. Smiley
Layering non- heat transfer vinyl onto heat transfer vinyl is NOT a good idea given it has to be ironed ... so we had a little "bubblage" Wink .
Project Picture:

Prompt: FEBRUARY - Dye me a river
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: n/a
Project Name: Birthday Card
Project Link: N/A
Brief Description: Made this card for a crafty friend of mine. Love using "silhouette" stamps, but you really need a good ink pad for the best results. STASH ONLY
Project Picture:

Prompt: FEBRUARY - Paint the Town
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: n/a
Project Name: Hand Print Canvases
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: We were trying to do hand prints in salt dough for the grandparents & auntie for Christmas - but somehow the salt dough was not compliant!! So I got out Canvases I had bought a couple of months ago "just in case" (as crafters do!) and some acrylic paints and let Miss Martian & Supergirl (aka the Hobbits!) loose on it ... with some guidance and helping pressing down the hands ... Smiley
Project Picture:
Photo includes our current Little Visitor, Huggle. Wink

Prompt: FEBRUARY - Stamp the Yard
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: n/a
Project Name: Christmas Cards
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: We don't do Christmas cards anymore (only online stuff nowadays) - but some people incl. neighbours are getting cards (shop bought), and then there are some selected few who WILL get home made cards - those who appreciate them. I've been doing some dry embossing with Embossing folders and then using stamps to create the picture.  STASH ONLY
Project Picture:

Prompt: January - C.O.L.D
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: 10 (at Battle Leader's discretion of course! Wink )
Project Name: Cowl On Little Dear
Project Link: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/baylie-bear-cowl
Brief Description: Second attempt of the Baylie Bear cowl - this time fully sticking to the pattern. Wink It's a COWL ... so starts with C. This is now Supergirl's cowl...
Project Picture:

and a photo of Miss Martian and Supergirl together with the Cowls...

I think that's all the points you'll get from me this term, roler - I might be able to do a few more if I can fit them to prompts.

I really like that John Snow paper doll rockingbearranch! You did an amazing job! And I like your ATC too. I chose the same theme but different animal!  Wink

Prompt:  January - Battle WARM
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Cat Tub
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: My neighbors cat likes me more. She hangs out at my house, looks in my windows and hangs out in the garden. I have been really worried about her being outside in the cold so before the last cold front came thru my Mom and I made her a bed for when she refuses to go back to the neighbors house. It's two plastic tubs with Styrofoam to insulate it and help it remain water proof. I also have a towel inside for warmth and an old dish towel to keep the breeze out. It doesn't look fancy but it is very practical and works! My Mom has two outside of her house and her cats love them. I would let me neighbors cat in but she isn't declawed and I have three declawed cats inside... plus a bunny.
Project Picture:

This pic shows the inside before the second tub was added. The Styrofoam  went all the way around. I filled in the gaps and added it to the top as well.

This is the finished look. Not fancy but practical and it keeps her warm.

Prompt: January - Freezing Point
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Franks wife necklace
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: Inspired by zero, an O. This necklace is circular. The shape of a zero. Plus, Ms. Frank is probably very cold to touch since she was (is?) dead.  Wink
Project Picture:

Prompt: January - C.O.L.D
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: +10 (COLD)
Project Name: Cute Ole Literary Device
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: Bunny1kenobi, lindyv321 & I are all doing a Reading Challenge this year. I sent Bunny1 these bookmarks to help her along when she is reading actual books and not e-books.  Smiley They were inspired by her Pinterest board of bookmarks. These were done on marker board with Copics and covered with contact paper.
Project Picture:

Prompt: Red Alert - Holiday Spirit
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: UFO
Project Name: The Bunny1kenobi necklace
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: Bunny1 made a joke about a necklace of her name a while ago and I got the supplies and meant to have it ready way before Christmas but then I ended up having to make it in December. Best laid plans.  Tongue But here it is. A bunny1kenobi necklace that I sent to her for our gift exchange. It was done with Copic markers.

Brief Description: I got a set of those Inktense Pencils that everyone is raving about and producing amazing art with. Mine, eh... not so much. I think I need to play with them more, use a different paper (maybe water color paper?) and lay them on thicker. I think I was light with them. I ended up adding some Copic markers. I think next time I will try layering too. Still learning with them but everyone else has had stellar results so I know its me. The ATC theme was unexpected animals with antlers (what a great theme!).

Hey guys little bit of a project dump for today. Included is my offering for the Raffle.

Prompt: January - You're as cold as ice
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Cold ATC's
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I know how everyone on here seems to love bird, I just don't get it. They scare me to death with their pointy beaks and the way they nervously twitch around. Not to mention they can attack you from above and catch you unaware. Here is an ATC for the theme Bird Boy that I did for artsycandice. He's cold hearted, look into his eye (but not for long or he will attack). The second one is an ATC that I just did and may send out if it fits someone theme later. I was just in a drawing mood. She is an alien and we all know one day aliens will come down and destroy us all, a little cold if you ask me.

Prompt: February - Edward Scissorhands
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: Stash
Project Name: Dr Who Tardis Scarf
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: Just take a look at all that cutting. This fits the copious cutting prompt without tweaking it, LOL! This will also be my prize for the Games. Project Picture:

Prompt: February - Stamp the yard.
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: ATC backs
Project Link:
Brief Description:  Although this project didn't utilize a stamp it is directly inspired by them. I recently rejoined the ATC swap and wanted to get a stamp for the backs. I looked and looked and nothing was what I wanted. I decided I wanted it to be more personal so I set about designing my own. It then took a sharp turn and I ended up making these.
Project Picture:

I tested it out on the back of the card I sent Bunny1kenobi. Here is how it looks signed, titled, and dated.

Prompt: February - Love is in the air.
Team: Wordy!!
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Personalized ATC backs.
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: When I think of Valentines I think of cards. I don't have a Valentine this year but I am sending out a card! To my bestie Bunny1kenobi and I love that I have such an amazing and creative best friend. She painted this octopus girl for me in a swap last year (I think it was last year). I tested it out on some personalized ATC backs for her and thought they looked amazing. It was like they were made for it! I muted a couple out for different effects. These are on there way to you Bunny1. I just glue stuck (glue sticked?) them to the backs of mine.  Cheesy I hope you like them.

Oh, wow! There have been so many amazing things posted while I've been away (and crazy busy). I really want to comment on all of them, but it would take me hours to go back through them all (this has been a tough round, time wise!).

And, I have to laugh about the microwave potholders- I had never seen them before, but my mom gave me one for Christmas. I immediately bought, and cut, apple fabric (for the Cold as Ice challenge to represent Regina from Once Upon a Time), and then didn't have time to stitch any of them up. And now, I see them popping up everywhere! Smiley Hopefully, I can fit them in for another prompt!

I've got a few projects to post, far fewer than I expected, but at least it's something for poor Team Textbook!

Prompt:  February Battle- Fabric vs Paper (FABRIC)
Team: Textbook
Bonus Points:  UFO (I bought the fabric for this a year ago!)
Project Name: English Paper Pieced Hexagon Dresser Pad
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: Last year, my mom had a visitor who used the top of the dresser as a luggage rack, and the dresser got scratched. So, I offered to make a pad for it, and we bought some fabric. Instead of making it with some basic blocks of fabric, I decided to get fancy and learn how to do English paper piece work. I knew I didn't want to learn on 1" hexies, so I enlarged the template (the hexies are about 5" across). My original goal was to have it done by Thanksgiving, but it didn't happen. Then, when I visited my mom for Christmas, I thought I'd finish it while I was there. Barely touched it! Finally, over February break, I had a "pajama day" and pretty much spent the whole day stitching the last 5 columns of hexagons together. I was able to put the backing on the night before I was supposed to fly home. Technically, it should be quilted, but I've never really done much machine quilting, and I didn't want to wreck it. So, I might practice, and if I get the hang of it, I'll quilt it when I visit again in December!

Project Picture:

Prompt:  February Flash Mob:  Craft an item in your favorite medium using all stash supplies.
Team: Textbook
Bonus Points:  Giver
Project Name: Crocheted Peaked Hat
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: I made this as part of the 15 Hats in 2015 CAL. Crochet is one of my favorite things to do (tied with sewing). I used yarn leftover from a blanket I made and found a pair of buttons in the button jar that complement the stitch pattern (although, they might be a little big). This hat will be going in the "closet" at school where some of the needy kids can "shop" for clothing items. (STASH)

Project Picture:

Prompt:  February: Stamp the Yard
Team: Textbook
Bonus Points:  n/a
Project Name: Valentine Thank You Cards
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: I got a few sweet little gifts from some of my students, so I needed to send Thank You cards. I dug out the heart stamp (I have had it for a VERY long time and have never used it) and the sentiment, and had ink pads in magenta and black. I have a ready supply of cards and envelopes, too (whenever I have a coupon burning a hole in my pocket, I either buy packs of blank cards/envelopes or tape runner refills). I made them one evening while I was on vacation and got them sent off before the end of vacation. (STASH)

Project Picture:

Prompt:  February: Basket Case
Team: Textbook
Bonus Points:  n/a
Project Name: Fabric Woven Heart Baskets
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: I've seen these woven heart baskets before (and even in this round of the games!), but in my entire crafty life, I've never made one. I decided that the time had arrived to give it a go, but I wanted to make them with fabric. I found the template and directions online (for making with paper), but used fabric instead. I fused the two fabrics together using Wonder Under and then cut them out (I reduced the template by 50% because I was using scrap fabric). The first one (purple/green) took me a bit longer because I had to get the technique down, but the second one was quicker. I think, for next year, I might make a whole bunch more and make a cute heart garland! (STASH)

Project Picture:

Prompt:  Red Alert- National Hobby Month
Team: Textbook
Bonus Points:  n/a
Project Name: Road Trip Dishcloth
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: While waiting for my brother and my SIL to arrive at my mom's (NY to FL by car), it got pretty late, but I needed to keep myself busy, so I started working on this. I used my own Road Trip Dishcloth pattern, and some leftover yarn from an earlier dishcloth project.

Project Picture:

Prompt:  Red Alert- Love is in the Air
Team: Textbook
Bonus Points:  n/a
Project Name: Tulle Dish Scrubbies
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: A while ago, I made my mom a dish scrubbie out of some purple tulle. My step dad loved it, and when I was visiting over February vacation, he asked for another one, and I knew I couldn't refuse (he had bought me some chocolates for Valentine's Day, plus he is just super and sweet!). My mom had a roll of red tulle in the craft closet, so I made the double-sided scrubby for him. My SIL put in a request for one that was only 1 layer, but slightly larger. I made them both in the car while heading up to visit family (crocheting keeps me from getting carsick). (STASH)

bunny1kenobi, that Frozen hat is just too adorable!  So clever.

Prompt: December Battle Royale - North
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: roler's stocking
Project Link: http://imaginegnats.com/the-falling-flakes-stocking-tutorial/
Brief Description: I made this stocking for roler in this year's Stocking Swap.  Next year, Santa will b able to fly down from the North Pole and fill it with goodies for her!
Project Picture:

This is the first time I ever attempted any kind of quilting.  I did bands of alternating width on the front side:

And I loved this fabric so much, so I figured I'd save it for the stocking back:

My favorite part of the stocking is actually the lining.  Oh my gosh, I was never so scared to mess up a craft in my life -- after spending 2 days on the stocking exterior, I had to sew it shut into the lining!  I thought I was going to mess it up for sure, but it came out just like it was supposed to.

Prompt: December Flash Mob
Team: Multimedia
Project Name: TARDIS Deck Holder
Project Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ioahNLPyrg
Brief Description: My ancestors on my mother's side came from what is now the UK.  This TARDIS also clearly originates from the UK.
Project Picture:

This TARDIS canvas box is "supposed" to be a Magic: The Gathering deck holder, but I'm sure roler can find any number of nerdy treasures to store inside. Wink

Hey all!  I'm back!  Time to bombard you all with my crafts!  December was a busy month of crafting for me!!!

Prompt: December - New Zealand
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: NA
Project Name: Brown Cowl
Project Link: NA
Brief Description: As you may know, there are lots of sheep in New Zealand.  Sheep make wool, wool makes yarn, and BAM, yarn makes cowl!  I whipped up a lot of cowls for christmas presents, here is a lovely brown one that shows my mastery over my loom and the pattern I found online.  My first one wasn't as nice.  The first stitch is called a garter stitch where you knit one row and then perle the next for a total of 5 rows, and then continue on with the 3 step stitch, and its very easy.  Here is a link to the tutorial I used for the 3 step stitch:  http://www.loomahat.com/three-step-stitch/#comment-60955
Project Picture:

Prompt:  December - India
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: NA
Project Name: Green Cowl
Project Link: NA
Brief Description: Another cowl, this one for my mom.  The yarn I used is really soft and silky, and may actually be either a silk or bamboo blend, and has shimmer parts which is reminiscent of a sari.  I've had this yarn in my stash for a long time.  I bought it with the intention of making something for my mom, but never got around to doing so.  I'm glad I finally got to put it to use!
Project Picture:

Prompt:  December - Galapagos Islands
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: NA
Project Name: Curious George Shirt
Project Link: NA
Brief Description:  As you know, Darwin's theory is based off the evolution of monkeys into men.  So, here is Curious George!  A curious little monkey!  I participated in a christmas swap with my september mom group on Facebook.  So, I made my partner's son a shirt, since he loves Curious George.  I used freezer paper stenciling to create this, and then freehanded the lines and details using fabric paint.
Project Picture:

Prompt:  December - Egypt
Team: Multimedia
Bonus Points: NA
Project Name: Multicolored Cowl
Project Link: NA
Brief Description: Yes, another cowl.  This one reminds me of Egypt, with its sparkling deserts and hidden gems.

Project Name: 1976 Shirt
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: Not much scares me or creeps me out quite like getting really, really old. My friend, who is born the same year, is having a b-day next week and I made her this shirt. I want to make myself one too. Also, the shirt is long sleeved because the cold gives me the chills too! I stenciled this shirt and instead of painting the fabric paint on I dabbed it with my finger to give it a more uneven, vintage feel.
Project Picture:

Below is my cat Dahlia that did not like that I was spending time crafting instead of petting her.

Prompt: January - Brrrr
Team: WORDY!!
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: 1974 Shirt
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: When the weather goes down so does the sleeve length. I always whip out my long sleeved shirts for the winter. This shirt is for my sister and is long sleeved to keep her warm. Another Brrr cold association is that it is cold to tell everyone how old she really is.  Wink Again I finger paint dabbed the paint on to make it look more vintage. I think it was more successful with the white paint.
Project Picture:

Prompt: January - Frozen Tundra
Team:
Bonus Points: -0-
Project Name: Ghastlies Patchwork scarf
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: The roads where icy and I couldn't leave my house last Wednesday so I used my time wisely and dug thru my scraps. Everything was from my stash.  Wink I am assuming that scarves were invented somewhere very cold to keep them warm and when I think about going somewhere cold a scarf is one of the first things in my bag.

I have one more but I am waiting on it to arrive....

Wow!  The thread exploded over the weekend!!

Exploding boxes, TM patches (especially that tree one), macarons.... holy smokes!

I have a couple to add:

 Prompt:  Feb Paint the Town
Team: WORDY!!
Bonus Points: STASH ONLY
Project Name: Curiosity cabinet atc
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: This is for sheepblue for the ATC swap.  She should get it tomorrow, but no peeking until then... There are so many pics so that you can see all the curiosities  Cheesy And it should be noted that I am not responsible for the curiosities themselves, just for the cabinet.  Which called for paint. And lots of glue. And I'll apologize for the sideways pics.  I edited them to be correct but evidently it didn't take.  Undecided
Project Picture:

Prompt:  Feb Flash Mob
Team: WORDY!!
Bonus Points: STASH ONLY
Project Name: Glow Bug
Project Link: n/a
Brief Description: This is for AugustBell in the Feb ATC swap.  I don't think she's on this thread, so I'm gonna take a chance, and post it. One of my new favorite things to do is to draw.  It's something that has always been a challenge for me but I've had a lot of help and encouragement from my bestie, Gozer (thanks, girl!) and while I will likely NEVER measure up to that girl's talent, I have come so far that some days I'm surprised! If I ever did a card like this again, there are a few things I'd do differently, but I'm quite pleased with the drawing itself.
