I love the Ghost of Christmas - very Dickensian!

I just received the MOST WONDERFUL dotee from hazelly. I'd ranted a bit in my questionnaire about wanting something other than the current store-decoration Christmas figures, and she was kind enough to mollify me with this tiny, beautiful Holly King.

Many modern Pagans celebrate Yule with the story of the defeat of the Oak King by the Holly King, who rules through the Winter and Spring until he faces his rival again at the Summer Solstice.

Just look at his beautiful little face, and the red seed bead berries!

I had to take another photo of the holly leaves and lovely red and gold glass bead at the tail, so you can see how tiny it is. This is ridiculously small crocheting!

Thanks, Susan, for this perfect little figure - I couldn't imagine a better start to my dotee collection! (And congratulations for staying well under the size limit - I'm afraid I was less successful at that part. Embarrassed)

Wulf

I sent a Yule Princess to aluraceleste - she's in the middle of sudden relocation for work and hasn't had time to post a photo. Disclaimer - My apartment is sooooooo dark. How dark is it? It is so dark that I thought the fabric was green and red (it's blue and pink) and the yarn was meant to be brown and green. The brown turned out to be purple when I brought it to work to photograph and send out. I offered to remake but Jennifer said send it anyway.

That's a bird milagro that I dyed/stained with alcohol ink - it's not a cross, but shaped like one.

I sent two other ornaments - using up a bunch of scrapbook-y things I have:

ok..my partner, crazyda79, and I were meant to be swap partners!!!

We both seemed to be on the same track... Kiss

I was so hoping for a New Year's dotee, and I got one!!!!

Now I am sure that 2015 is going to be a great year!  She is hanging in my craft room with her bad party self!

(ha ha I just noticed that she looks like she could be a little tipsy in the picture...but of course, the champagne glass in front is HALF empty!)

I almost forgot the hitchhiker!!!  My own snowman ornament (I whined a lot in the ornament swap that I did not get one... Grin).  Thanks!  It is hanging in my office on my own tree!

I'm loving these dotees!!

That Holly King is so delicate and beautiful!

I love the tipsy  Grin New Year's Dotee with the champagne. She has the shape of firework, a rocket. Lovely!

The Yule Princess dotee is so cute. I love her crown and rose in her hair.

I'm sorry it took me so long to post my lovely, new dotee by stellou!
In the Netherlands we celebrate Sinterklaas, (a bit like Santa Claus with lots of presents for the kids) on the 5th December so I was somewhat distracted...

Anyway, here is my cute, pretty Angel-dotee:

My lovely partner included a little faerie too:

Thanks so much stellou! They are so lovely and the Angel will find her way into my Christmas tree for sure!!  Cheesy

But I'm not jealous at all coz I have the cutest ever Christmas robin, crocheted by Wendiek and with holly in the tail (which I managed to photograph backwards Embarrassed). She went for my animal at Christmas theme and I love it to bits...
