I really, really, really shouldn't sign up for this swap. I was going to be good! I was swearing off swaps for the rest of the summer because I need to focus on my writing. But ... teeny tiny embroidery ... awesome people already signed up. I AM WEAK! *cough* I sent in my sign up form. Damn my swap addiction and tempting swaps that are too fun to resist.

Besides, I finished a tiny Tardis not long ago and now I've got five spare 50mm bezel pendants lying around my craftroom. Someone is getting an embroidered necklace Cheesy Unless they object. And then I will erm figure something else out for my teeny tiny stitchery.
Here's the Tardis pendant

And some little stitched inchies I did a few years ago:

This little frog is less than an inch from his nose to his backside; I wasn't able to get much detail at this scale...   Tongue

I have started practicing and experimenting, trying to stay close to an inch and wow that is so small.  I will try some little embroidery but first ones included a little felting, fabric, stitching.  Learning tons of course and thinking about beads too.  Very simple to start.

Anyone here heard of 39 Squares?

I took part in that 39 Squares project a few years back, it was a blast! These were some of my first bits of embroidery, and I've gone on to do lots better things, but this is still one of my favorites. It's kind of mixed up and crazy, but I think that's why it holds a soft spot for me. I was 35 years old when I did this project, so I only did 35 squares.  Smiley
