I received a purpleicious box of wonderment from Isikkahjai today! She really 'got' me - everything is so wonderful - thank you SO much! This is going to be a pic heavy post - so some of them I will add as thumbnails!

Firstly I'll show you the bought items she sent me

Beads!!!! (I LOVE beads!) These are actually a lot more purple than the pic shows - I could not get light / colour right today Sad

A great big heart pendant - I love this - I have so many heart shaped beads etc - and this is so BIG! I can't wait to use it for something

on the 'big' theme - this massive lobster clasp and another pretty pendanty type thing. A necklace IsikkahJai crafted for me has one of these pendants on - so I am going to use this one to make a matching bracelet Smiley

Pretty fabric trims

lots of purple letter stickers:

Pretty purple wool to make a scarf (though I may use it to make a fabulously loopy bag!)

Then I got some pretty pebbles / shells / sea glass to start off my collection Smiley

Right - onto the exciting stuff - the millions of crafted items she sent me! I thought I had gone OTT with her - but she has made me SO many things - my parcel now seems substandard!!!

Pretty embroidered tiny skull hoopla - it is so small and her stitches are so perfect - I am envious!

there was a stand in the box - which I think was to hold the hoopla - if not, it is now - it is the perfect size!

Some awesome notecards with embroidered sign language on them - these are AWESOME!!!!

I need help though! I know the alphabet in BSL - which I don't think this is! I think the bottom two say love and peace - but I would love to know what the top two say?

They even had pretty decorated envelopes

My very first Teesha Moore Patch (I think?) Which really made me chuckle I will be sewing this onto a bag I think

S is for....Sarah Smiley

so pretty!

A very pretty necklace with one of the pendants I showed you earlier - looking forward to making my matching bracelet

I have wanted a purple Tree Of Life pendants so much for sooooooooo long - and Isikkahjai sent me one! I can't begin to tell you how pleased I am with this - I put it on as soon as I had taken a photo and haven't taken it off since - I LOVE it!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

this pendant was attached to the closure of the Tree Of Life pendant - but it is far too pretty to be hidden behind me - so I am thinking I may repurpose it into a more visible pendant!

and lastly - the piece de resistance - a stencilled hoody - with a wonderful purple dragon - this has also been on since I got it - and will be lived in from now on I think!

Front

Back

and because I love it so much - a couple of action shots - I NEVER do action shots - so you are privileged!!!

(note the TOL!)

I was admitted to hospital last Sunday - and didn't get out until Thursday - yesterday I slept all day - so have had a craptastic week and was feeling really down in the dumps - this package has REALLY cheered me up.

Thanks again - so much! XXX

Thanks for kind words Ladybugsandbumblebees!

Here's some pics.

NOTE: I did not do the embroidery. I found these at the thrift store and made one of them into hanging towels.

Also I love charm bracelets but they are kind of distracting to wear so I made my partner some bag jewelry Wink

The flower I made for my partner really tickled my daughter so I ended up making three for her room and one for me Smiley:

I can't wait to see the rest of the gallery!!

I received my package from AmandaBL! It seriously felt like Christmas to me!  Grin Grin Grin
Everything was wrapped so pretty. She even hand made the trinket box that hid some lovely gray and mint supplies inside:)

Some of the other neat things she included are Nigerian money, a Wooly Willy toy (I remember playing with one of these at my grandma's house when I was a kid!), a couple of handmade tags with old photographs, and some chevron cotton duck..love!

Up next is a wish banner I wanted. Yay! She even included some coordinating papers for me to use if I wanted to add on different size stars. And a GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS hand drawn floral "Be filled with Joy" art piece. OH MY, GOODNESS! I cannot stop smiling when I look at this!

A whole matching jewelry set! Lovely! It includes a long necklace, a wrap bracelet, and two sets of earrings. My camera dulled out the colors, but they are much more glitzy in person:) And last but not least, a beautiful mixed media shadowbox!!! THIS THING IS AMAZING!!!!

You are one talented lady, Amanda! Thank you so very much...I adore it all!!!!!

Edit: Oops....I left one thing off.
It's an awesome altered push button pillbox! Thanks again, Amanda!

My angel Grin package arrived from averia and boy did she spoil me.  It was in the mail last Saturday.  Learning to use my new laptop, lost  camera card because I am in the middle of a total kitchen redo and stuff has been piled lost everywhere.  The package is perfect and is going to look great in my kitchen I am so happy!!!!  I wasn't able to take an action shot of the placemats as my table is piled high with all my stuff that sits on my hoosier cabinet.  I am stripping and staining and varnishing it. But they will be perfect.

First up my color was aqua with accents of red!!!!!!!

4 rolls of tape. As soon as my table is clear I want to sit down and enjoy me redo while making some cards using this.........

Averia also sent a roll of ribbon that I did not get a photo of and my camera battery has died.  Will add later....

Next up are hexi templates....I have never made these before but have been wanting to for some time....now I have precut templates and wait until you see how Averia used them in the items that she crafted for me.  I hear they are addicting.....

Averia was to kind....... 4 hexi embellished placemats I love them they are perfect,,,,,  They are going to make my table pop.   I can't believe the time that she put
into this package, I feel so loved!!!!!!

Spoiled, did I say spoiled......

2 hexi shaped hot pads and 4 round hexi hot pads or mug rugs.....  I was blown away and to know that they are perfect is to say the least.

Some action shots.........

Thank you so much Averia for being my angel.... I love each and everything and will treasure these crafted items forever!!!!!!

Sorry for the sideways photo!!!!!

I have the most awesome story and photos to share with you lovely people.
The wonders of Craftster and the awesome love from my partner crescentfresh, have created the most perfect moment today.
Before I share the pictures - I want to share a little background to the importance of this swap, I wont go on too much as it doesn't seem right, but I want my partner and you all to understand a little.
I asked for my partner to make up a box of colour for my bestest chum - Kate. Kate, like me had a pretty difficult childhood and the echos of which still affect her today - mainly (again like me - you can so see why we found each other on this astral plain), we both have difficulties in feeling special and though we have both done lots of work around it (im a psychotherapist now and shes a nurse) - needless to say, we both fall down holes now and then.
Craftster for me shines a light in the dimly lit "Im special" corners - not only do I get to make stuff which wll be appreciated, but I also get to sit in the reality that someone is spending time snooping then crafting for me. Each package I open brings squeels of delight from my inner 5 year old !
Now, back to Kate - shes had a really really tough year and I just wanted her to feel the specialness of craftster and so I joined this swap yearning for a box just for her.  You will not believe the joy in my heart when I started speaking to Crescentfresh, everything she said just rhymed and chimed with Kate - even down to 5 rhythms (You cannot know dear crescentfresh how many times Kate has tried to get me to go)  So yesterday when a little brown box arrived on my doorstep, I couldn't wait till lunch time today when I knew I could quietly give Kate the box.
We sat and I explained to her everything (she knows what craftster is because I go on about it ALLLLL the time), and then I read her out some of the messages my partner and I had shared.
THEN WE OPENED THE BOX !!!!
AND THEN !!!!!!! WE READ THE CARD
AND THEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE TEARS BEGAN TO ROLL
and as beautiful layer upon layer revealed itself to her, I looked at KAte and she said "I get it, I feel so special" - Thankyou so very much Crescentfresh - I do hope you love your parcel equally.
Without further ado, please cast your eyes upon the box of Indian influenced delight....
Mandalas, prayer flags, wrist warmers, pendants (this lost a little in transit, but please don't worry it is still gorgeous and much loved), keepsake boxes, and prayer book (she is going to write her daily promises to self in)

With Love and Respect to you dearest Partner, may you feel back the love you put in when you gather my parcel x

I get to add to the loveliness!  I received from Acadian Driftwood over the weekend.  I am so in love with everything in this package!

Everything wrapped in pretty purple with teal ribbons!

The first thing I opened was this bracelet with my favorite colors!  I am wearing it as an anklet right now!

Then these gorgeous paint chip bookmarks.  Did you had draw these?  The one with my name is hanging above my desk with all my other "L" things.

A super wonderful scarf!  The color is just fabulous!  This is the exact shade that I love

Super cute pouch with markers in my fave colors.  I am currently using it to hold thread for a hoopla I am working on.

Last but not least is the cutest purse ever!  The fabric is so wonderful!  I didn't have time to transfer my stuff into it but I will be soon!  It was also filled with a few extra surprises.

Thank you so much for such a great package!  I hope you like your just as much!

Wow, here's my big (mostly) pink package from jennythor!

We've got. . .

A pink fabric scarf with a crow on it (nice and soft!)

Probably my favourite item of the box, a cardigan with skulls. Good choice. Wink

Corset-style bracelets. I like that pink leather!

Some found item crafts, with a rock she found (it wasn't originally pink) in a necklace and old copper church roofing as hair clips!

3-Doodled bat earrings (neat, I was wondering what that was made with) and a star ring:

Some bonus goodies:

The nice card and psychobilly-style hairclip

And last but not least, a selection of leather pieces! These are neat, and I'm sure I'll find something interesting to do with them. Smiley

Thanks jennythor! It's been fun doing this swap (and, um, I'll be sending yours by the end of the weekend. Wink)

Today when I got home from work, I was delighted to find a box from P_E_S_T!
Behold! The wonders she sent to me are perfect, fabulous, and exactly my taste. I shall try to convey their glory in photographic form (but will not do them justice)
First, lovingly packaged in recycled orange wrapping, this is what I saw when I opened my box:

Then, I began to open the gifts..... These wire-wrapped pendants are sea glass and rusted stone, and I love them.

This piece of woman-power sacral-chakra artwork is already up on my altar.

This is a magical pocket attached to a hand-knit belt! (made with recycled sari silk, in the perfect green and amber hues)

The elephant orange background is a silky pillowcase, and she spoiled me with embroidery thread, yarn, and an orange bead assortment!

A felty hoop with beautiful stitching, already hanging on my bedroom wall:

I LOVE this scarf! It was made with shredded t-shirt fabrics, and the heart pendant is attached to it! Amazing!!!

She also added some flower seeds, honeycomb candles, a book (which I'm already anxious to read), a charm pendant, and sewing pattern.
This is the best and most beloved swap package I've received yet! I love it all!

Thank you thank you thank you P_E_S_T! <3 you are a wonderful swap partner

I received so much pinky goodness yesterday from BriannaB03 yesterday! She spoiled me rotten!

First off, the cutest pink and blue bunting. The fabric has cherries on it! DYING! Help me Rhonda, it is too adorable!

I LOVE George Strait and have wanted this sign for my house forever. This is just too perfect for words!

I love pink and gold.  We are redecorating our room in Sideshow/vintage circus and this is the best for our room! It is a little votive holder with a flameless  tea light. Such the best!

As an added bonus, she made these covers for my bedroom.

I love tea and now I can take it with me. This is perfect for work.

Last but not least, a fab bracelet! (it came in a little big bag)

Thank you SOOOOOO much! You are just the best!  Kiss

I have removed and re uploaded these pictures three times.  I am not copying the thumbnail link. I can not for the life of me figure out why they are so small. I am so frustrated :-( these are suuuuuch beautiful items I wish I could show them off in a size you can actually SEE. I wilt ray again tomorrow.

I got the most lovely package from HappyLittleClam.

Everything was wrapped so pretty, here is a before and after of everything.  I had fun opening it all<3
First off, these GORGEOUS felted slippers.  The shape of them is so feminine and pretty. The picture doesn't capture it, but they are so so nice.  My very favorite slippers ever, right out of the box.

Then, this amazing shawl. It is the prettiest yarn. She also made me a shawl pin that is stamped with a saying I love "beYOUtiful" so so pretty.

These very pretty ivory fingerless gloves can be washed and dried which will make them a favorite too

This picture is so pretty. I love so, so many things about it. I'm 99% sure it is her original work and hope she has a better shot of it if she wants to share it. It is so beautiful.

Last but not least, this necklace and earring set. Pretty little flowers.

Tomorrow, I'm gonna see how much of it I can wear at once!!!
Thank you SO MUCH <3
