Sure, I'll post up a sample here in about an hour-ish, just gotta get a minute to sit down its kinda hellacious today!

Edit* Here's the photo, took with my broken iphone so hope it turned out good haha!

Just incase you cant read my notes
Step 1: Draw eye outline and let dry 5min (or till dry to touch *ie. no ink on finger if pressed gently*)

Step 2 Draw/color in whites of eyes (see dotted line on photo) and let dry completely (if using elmer's paint pens it takes longer than the sharpie to dry)

Step 3: Draw in actual eye design and let dry completely

Step 4, color in eye's as desired and let dry =D and done!

You should end up with something like this =D

Facial view (try to get eyes evenly spaced and as close to the first eye drawn as possible)

Close-up of eye detail

Also as a personal hint, from experience, try not to make the eye itself to small inside the eyeoutline otherwise you get this shocked/surprised look XD (compare the drawn sketch I made in 1min to the poppet picture where I took my time, I'm sure you can see the difference haha!!)

Sometimes it amazes me I get anything done in my workspace hahaha
See how tiny it is XD enough room for me to sit and stick 1 foot under the table to hit the pedal n thats it hahahaha!!!

It's a lot neater than it looks usually, the baby gets into my stuff and tries to help XD I hide my -inprogress- work ontop of her dresser where she cant get to it otherwise she pulls my pins out and tries to repin for me XD guess i'm doing it wrong rofl!

Havent actually slept in days, just hour naps here n there...i feel like a zombie! Was going to start on her quilt this week but if i dont manage to get a full 6hour stretch to sleep (without being woke up ha ha) i think her quilt is going to be waiting some more....

Cant wait to see what everyone else comes up with =D or till that box gets there, least now I dont have to worry about the baby tearing her apart or getting her dirty ^.^

Details of swap:
In this swap you will just be crafting one completed and clothed (if applicable) poppet for your partner. ***Just to clarify, this swap is considered a poppet mini swap in the sense that we are simply about sending a single poppet, as opposed to sending a poppet with supplies and whatnot, as would be required in a larger swap. However, if you would like to make or receive a mini (or smaller sized) poppet, please indicate it in your questionnaire and we will do our best to partner you accordingly*** Check out the poppet along which will help you with any questions in creating your poppet or give you inspiration https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=205341.0. As we would like to keep this swap as fair as possible and not have anyone feel as if they sent more than their partner, please just keep the package to the one completed poppet, unless you discuss swapping more with your partner beforehand!

Things to keep in mind:
1. Flakers will not be tolerated.
2. This swap has a mandatory weekly check in. This means that you must post (at least) once a week in the discussion thread in order to keep both your partner and us, the organizers, in the loop as to how your poppet is progressing and in order to reassure us that you are still alive in the world of poppets. We will be keeping a record of such posts and if you have poor communication, it will be noted in your feedback.
3. If you have not heard from your partner for awhile or notice that your partner has not been active in Craftster for a while, and you are feeling concerned, PM us! Or if for any reason whatsoever you have concerns, feel free to PM us!
4. We will not approve anyone who has multiple feedbacks stating that they have poor communication, have not used a DC#, or is a consistent late sender.
5. Everyone is expected to send on time.  If you are going to be late, you must notify us ASAP. Those who are late and do NOT notify us, will receive negative feedback which will not be removed or corrected until the poppet is sent, we receive a DC# and the package is received.
6.  Posting photos in the gallery is a rule of this swap.  Failure to do so will result in a comment in your feedback. A big part of swapping is posting your goodies in the gallery and acknowledging your partner's work, plus, we want to see all of the new additions to the poppet family! If you do not have access to a camera, please contact your partner and ask if they can take pictures of both packages which they send/receive.
7. If you are an international swapper or sending internationally and are unable to get a DC# you must retain a copy of your shipping receipt. If for any reason your package goes missing and you do not have a copy of the receipt to provide us the organizers, you will have to resend to your partner.

When you send averyg a PM, please label it as Poppet Mini Swap Approval/ Sent/ Received/ etc.

OHHH help!!!

i have tried several different stores and NO one around hears sells joints!!! does any one know an online place that is good i have everything but the joints!!!  Sad

other then that i just realized i have put so much detail in to ___'s body that im almost loath to make cloths to cover it all up lol!

Wanna know what I used? Regular shank buttons from walmart.... seriously here's a pic

pic shows both sizes I use, front n back so you can kinda see em, hard to get a good pic cause of the flash...either to shiny or they blur without flash so best pic i can get, but i think u can see em well enough

The smaller ones I used for arms, and the bigger ones for legs....their like $0.98 a pair (ive only found em in gold but who cares about the color? lul) I've used different kinds of shank buttons, ive found as long as the shank is metal (or a hella thick plastic) that it works
