so i made a cthulu the other night, basically to see if i could do it. i've had some ideas about out-of-the-hoop stitching for a while, so i thought i'd try this one out.

i spent about a half-hour on this guy total, just a quick doodle. after a half-hour of being in the crafting zone, i finished and realized... i had absolutely no use for a little cthulu.

eventually i added a hat and gave him to my english teacher from sophomore year, who lovingly named him hp lovecraft and hung him in the classroom. really, what is a terrifying sea creature without an adorable accessory or two?

i highly reccommend using this method to make little thingies. i think i'll be making some of these in different animal forms as holiday gifts. Smiley

as usual, comments and criticisms encouraged! thanks for checking it out!
