I received some beautiful pages from IdlersDesign a couple of days ago, but only just got round to taking and editing the photos. (A bit obese on the images here Cheesy)

first off - love the way she put them in a folder:

and the card she included

The first page - lovely and simple, and I love that shes given me an envelope for a special little memory!

Next up - a double page spread. Again a deceptively simple page. Love the textures, the contained colour pallet and the writing!

Final (?) page - probably my favourite Dr Suess quote!

but wait - that wasn't the final page - Mikio, her son, also made some pages for me:

and then the stickers (which I assume are for Miles!)

And Christina Thank You SO much for the pages, I just love them!

I received my pages today!!!
Awesome and greatly appreciated!

First off - a lovely fairy with an inspirational *reminder* Love this and it's hand drawn by the talented GoldenSunshine!

Next another fairy - a collage type with fairy on a background of trees. This one made me laugh out loud because of the expression on the fairy's face. lol!

Then came 2 pages based upon the Hunger Games books which I've enjoyed very much! The first has a great quote, "you never forget the face of the person who is your last hope." Great choice! I liked that line very much.
The second page has the MockingJay pin and the books.
These have room for me to add text or other tid-bits to!
Love it!

Thank you GoldenSunshine! I loved them! They're all in my journal now!

I'm very pleased and loved this swap and experience!
Thanks to GoldenSunshine for being a great partner and to Smmarrt for organizing such a great swap!

The bottom fish says 'be different' - I love this & covers 2 themes - the sea and inspirational sayings

Love whats been written on the rainbow, and the face - wish I could draw!

Never had a ginger cat, but recognize this pose from the cats I have had Smiley

Love the collaged background - not sure but is it one of the Asian languages?

I was also sent some extras - background paper, journaling card and a cutout of a walking horse, but I forgot to photograph those Sad

And who sent this amazing package?

I've received mine last week Friday, but was not able to post photos due to things happening, then my camera battery died so I had to charge it up. Now it's going to be up! I received awesome pages from aheartofglass!!

I loved them so much, but the pet peeve of this, the damn mail women jammed this wonderful pages in my mail box, and the pages has been bent a bit. Arggh! Future tip: if you mail "printer size 8.5 by 11 pages" next time, write DO NOT BEND on the envelope!

Here are the awesome pages I received from Smmarrt! I tinkered with the photos in PSP today to try and get them to look as vibrant and awesome as they do in real life. Cheesy

One page for my ocean theme... I love the poem and the serene feeling!

And these two that are about creativitiy and making art! I love them!

I love the little details in the stamps, the sewing (I didn't even think of that!) and the bright colors! Thanks so much! Cheesy

Also, Smmarrt, don't stress about the pages, the ones I sent you were small anyway and the ones I received were huge! I didn't realize that 8.5 x 11 was such a large size for art journalling. Tongue

I received an awesome set of pages from IdlersDeisgn. She really used my themes.

First, a zentangled Bruce Springsteen page:

The lyrics read: I'm working on a dream. Though sometimes it feels so far away. I'm working on a dream...And I know it will be mine someday.

And a two-page spread about Amsterdam:

I spent 3 fun days there about 5 years ago and stayed with friends in a narrow house with very narrow stairs. Still trying to figure out how I made it up and down them without breaking my neck!

And a crafty recipe page:

Try one new thing everyday. Which is similar to the page I made for jasminewolverine.

There were some postcards and cute porcupine stickers. Christina - I love your style. And the Amsterdam page is not too busy - but reminiscent of the vibe of the city (as I remember it).

Yay, glad you like them!

I also received Smmarrt's fabulous pages today! Here they are:

One of my themes is houses/living. And behind the door I can write notes!

Nice use of photos. I especially like the sign that says "none but ourselves can free our minds" especially because she wrote it's from a Korean restaurant  Grin I wish our restaurants had signs like this....

And she sent along some pretty paper and 3 vintage postcards. One of them has the castle from the opening shot of the Sound of Music on it.

Now I've been singing "the hills are alive...." all afternoon after opening this package  Wink

Thanks for everything Smmarrt! (can't wait to make a journal now!)

I did remember to take pictures, even though I could not get the lighting right to save my life!

The first two were based on pioneer9s vintage and girl power themes:

I really had a ton of fun with these two, based on the theme of 'whimsical monsters':

I'm glad you liked them! Cheesy

I also received from jasminewolverine today. (Feel free to post better pics - it's late and dark but I wanted to post.)

She covered many of my themes, the first being travel:

Paris and London - I went in November for my birthday. LOVE, love, love the crayon-resist Eiffel Tower and I am always so awed by folks who can draw/sketch/illustrate - That's Big Ben!

Next up - birds and vampires!

The vampire page says: Vampires pretending to be human pretending to be vampires - how avant-garde!

Such awesome pages, lots of technique and artistry. Thanks so much, Ali.
