My husband picked up the packages that my mailman failed to ring the door about, or well 2 of the 3 since they LOST one of them. :|

Anyway, one of those packages was from MadHatteh. Cheesy

First up is the thing she made for me. It's a little Pokemon themed trinket box. It's covered in bits and pieces from various Pokemon cards. Being a Pokemon card collector, my first reaction was " Cry I didn't have some of those cards" LOL But I love the box. It's a really neat idea. I'll probably keep my Pokemon stickers and coins in it. Every time I take a picture, my hair ends up in the picture somewhere. Ignore the hair that's over Jolteon's face, that's mine and not attached to the box.

I then opened the box because it felt like something was in it and found something awesome inside.

What is it you say? Well, the tag thing has stickers on the front and the back, and the packets, using an educated guess, appears to be some kind of gum, but it's going to stay packaged forever because the packets are too cute to tear open. The only thing that would sway me to open them is if there were stickers inside. I love stickers!.

That still wasn't everything! There were a ton of cards and a nifty mini binder to hold them! The Sampling Pack was sealed, but I couldn't help myself and needed to tear it open before getting a picture. LOL I'm such a little kid. I needed quite a bit of the cards for my collection too, so yay for that!

What's next, you ask? I kind of got a little too excited at this next thing. I have been searching for this movie for a long time and have had no luck. Not only did I get that movie, but I got a second movie with it. Cheesy The Celebi movie, aka movie 4, aka Pokemon 4ever, is my FAVORITE Pokemon movie, and she didn't know that before sending this gift, so yay for her mindreading abilities!

And last but not least is probably the best of all of the "non-crafted" items, just because he's one of a kind. What's so special about him, you might ask yourself, well the answer is that he's a factory reject Toy Factory Pikachu plushie! I have been trying to get my hands on the Toy Factory Pikachu for awhile. He's kind of hard to obtain, because he's an arcade prize of some kind (claw machine or random games). So the fact that she found a factory reject one makes it even more amazing. I'm a sucker for rejected things plush, just because they're legit and still one of a kind. And the Toy Factory plush are awesome because they're smush-faced and look so helpless and pillow-like. ANYWAY, here he is, scarface Pikachu.

And that's all the pictures of everything. Thank you so much, MadHatteh. I'm very pleased with the birthday gift you sent me. Welcome to the world of swapping. I'm glad I was able to get your first ever swap package. Smiley

So I pick up the mail this afternoon and there is a package for me. It's not my birthday... I think. Then I remember, Oh yeah! It kinda is! Silvermoon totally spoiled me!

The loot

Stitch markers and keychain

They are so cute! I think my favorite is the one with the fork and spoon. I didn't get an individual picture of the Smarties - I had to hide them before the kiddos could run off with them. They're mine!

The dragon

She (my daughter has decided that she's a she) is straight off of my pinterest - only in my color!

The cupcake - she is also straight off my pinterest. Just a regular cupcake (I love the colors you picked btw).

and...

nuuuuuuuude!

Thank you Silvermoon! I LOVE it all!

I received a fabulous birthday present from ChameleonHound!

Everything all together. I love that it was wrapped up in the comics.

The awesome card with beautiful leaves.

The extras: Maple treats, a couple dog rawhides (notice they are not in the package anymore), and a film reel which I really love and really wanted. I need to figure out where to get them. Where do you get them from ChameleonHound? This one is the absolute perfect size!

A beautiful turtle hoopla. I absolutly love it, it's so neat! A combo of water colors and crayon shading was used.

An awesome tshirt. This has definantly become my most favorite shirt I own. It's so cool

Thank you so much for making my birthday amazing!!!

DC says that my package should have arrived for sushipanda yesterday! Woot!

Thank you for the introduction!  Without further ado, here's my birthday present from MareMare!

Needless to say, her craft work is AMAZING!  I've never received anything like this before.  The mug rug was made using a quilting technique called paper piecing.  I LOVE the detail on the panda and the matching fabric choices.  It looks so nice that I can't bear to use it and get it dirty.  I might just have to frame it and put it on my wall. Cheesy  MareMare also spoiled me with lots of cute fabric scraps, which I'll be using to make some fabric covered buttons.  I am thoroughly surprised and pleased with the presents I've received.  Thank you so much for the wonderful birthday gifts, MareMare!!  Cheesy

I got an excellent birthday package from h-chan today! Unfortunately, I won't be able to take decent pictures until Sunday, but I will have them up then!

Update: Pictures!!
The whole box:

(And since they didn't make it to the other photos, thank you for the tasty chocolates!)

I am in love with my wisty surprise Grin
Don't you just love this bookmark? I had to put it in the appropriate book, of course. I now am the envy of my whole family. On the part that's inside the book, it's the Wicked Witch of the West saying "Who killed my sister? Who killed the Wicked Witch of the East? Was it you?"

She also supplied me with exactly what I was looking for:

It's a fabric map of the US so I can map out my travels. I love all the little images for each state. This is going to be embroidered and marked out, and then I can put it on my wall or roll it up and take it with me! (Since I'll probably be moving again soon).

And lastly, let me point out this fabulous card:

To those of you who don't recognize him, it's the clown from the drum cover in Gandalf Murphy and the Slambovian Circus of Dreams! Never heard of 'em? I'm not surprised, but you should check them out. H-chan, I don't know if you knew about them, but you certainly picked an excellent image for the card.  Smiley

Thank you for a wonderful extended birthday h-chan!

I received from sushipanda today. Smiley I was about to take a nap when I looked at the time and realized I didn't hear the mail slot open. It's very rare that not one person in the house gets mail, so I went downstairs and opened the door to see what was going on, the stupid mailman left all of our mail, including letters, on the front step. :|

ANYWAY... I noticed a package with a DCN and got excited since nothing I buy online comes with a DCN, so I knew right away what it was. Cheesy

She chose my Pokemon theme. I love getting new Pokemon things. Cheesy

Me wearing it:

The pretty bracelet and some nifty candy that I've never heard of:

This is a better picture of some of the charms:

The pictures don't do it justice. It's beautiful. I need to decide if I want to wear it or keep it safely with my Pokemon collection. She did a really amazing job depicting the badges and Pokeballs.

Thank you sushipanda Smiley

Here's my fabulous, music themed package from Aidenromantic! I got it a few days ago and I apologize to her for not getting pics up sooner.

She made me a great journal with a cool method--she wrote various song lyrics down and then covered it in a fabric that's a little see through (polka dots! yum!) so you can still see the lyrics. I love journals and can never have enough!

close-up

Plus! She's got music connections and included all kinds of fun extras--cd's, stickers, and Beastie Boys pins! The stickers were inside the journal so that was fun to find them! I found even more in there after snapping the pic!

Thanks Aidenromantic, what a great bday present!  Kiss

My birthday parcel arrived. .. sent me this embroidery hoop on my actual birthday Smiley
It was the only present I got this year so I was pretty excited and she didn't disappoint. She sent me this steampunky key straight off my Hoopla Pinboard.
I'm really beginning to understand the love everyone has for Urban Threads!

and the super professionally finished back:

Sorry the flash on my camera has washed out all the detail, this really is gorgeous!

It has blue cherry lining! I love how the pouches turned out, usually I use a neutral zipper that blends in but I thought the red was fun! I think I got the ribbon at a yard sale a while back. I have an entire roll of it and I think it's so cute! It also perfectly matches the print of that quilt I'm working on for my friend (her hubby's baby quilt). I think when I give it back I'll wrap it in that!

Here's a pic of the lining in the pouches! I'm glad you liked everything MadHatteh! Happy Birthday, August 9th babies are the best! Cheesy
