Results

My very first pair of socks....I suffer from single sock syndrome.
For my mom, who is a 1/2 size smaller than I.....

A basic toe-up pattern, with short row heels. They are slightly off because I used 2 different skeins. Deborah Norville sock yarn.

The first sock went like lightening but whoo boy...the second was nothing but problems. I darned the edges of the heels for strength....my short rows always leave holes....but I think they turned out pretty well considering!

I made my first pair with the same sock  yarn!  I had problems with the second sock because I want it to match my first (which is kinda hard to do on self striping sock yarn).  Now that it's all done, I don't plan to make another pair of socks until I get that urge again.
