I didn't really like leggings in the past, but I saw all this great stretch fabric and had to make some this winter (I'm a little late posting heh). They've grown on me since then. I made my own pattern by tracing a pair of tight pants. Some patterns just have an inseam seam, but I went with ones on the side too to keep my stripes less distorted front and back, and for more shaping. This made me a bit obsessive about matching the pattern on the sides though.

These are the only ones I didn't match the stripes - they alternate instead. I'm not a fan of how they line up on the inside, but as a whole these are my favorite I think.

It's hard to see, but this burgundy fabric has sheer black stripes (looking flesh tone here), so if I wore other color tights underneath they would peek through.

I used this pair for some semi-abstract photos, and I really like the result:
