I needed to make two pillow covers with zipper closures - I don't mind zippers, however I really do not enjoy all the pinning that goes along with installing them.  I find that the constant stopping and starting and finagling with the pins makes for a difficult sewing job.....

So, instead of all that pinning I used a little Hean-N-Bond tape to make the job easy.  The results were fantastic and the sewing was seamless!

I've posted a tutorial and a video showing how quickly the sewing goes without all those pins here: http://sewplicity.blogspot.com/2011/04/tutorial-pillow-cover-with-almost.html

If you hate pinning as much as I do, you may enjoy this technique....try it out on your next project!

Thanks for looking!
