Received from NH822 a design she based on one of the Favorites Made by Others on my profile page.  The original is three dimensional and made from a 35mm film canister and colored acetate:

https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=290179.msg3294633#msg3294633

And here is NHs embroidered interpretation of that piece:

On the surface very simple the primary images solid silhouette there is, in fact, great attention to detail the shapes of the trees, the line stitching, the visual perspective altogether very evocative of a spooky forest and the lone figure within.  And so much satin stitching, not just the tiny figure but all the trees (couldnt get a good photo because of the color, but in person its all visible and provides just the right texture), and, most impressive, the teensy basket:

As an added bonus, the hoop was wrapped in a good size piece of this very cool fabric:

which for starters I think Ill use some of to make this duct-tape lined pouch Ive been wanting to try: http://www.instructables.com/id/No-Sew-Duct-Tape-Zipper-Pouch/

Thanks so much, NH!

Received a sweet feathered friend from 6CraftyCats:

Look at all those tiny stitches!  There was no note but Im assuming this whimsical creature was the creation of 6s imagination.  The tail and topknot feathers remind me of Dr. Seuss, while the body has a kind of warm folk art feel, resulting in a combination of the two styles that is quite charming.

Also wanted to share 6s method for anchoring the hanging-out-of-the-hoop edges of the fabric; dont know if this is a well-known technique or her own, but its new to me, I think its very clever, and something I would never have thought of myself:

Thank you, 6CraftyCats!

I received from LimeRiot today!!! I was laying on my couch trying pathetically to recover from a 24 hour migraine before having to head into work today and my bf brought me the mail which contained a big envelope!! I opened it right away although I felt quite like poop and it cheered me up so much I love it  Grin

Observe: Side one  Cheesy I do <3 nerds lol my bf is a big one as am I. I love the tiny tiny stitching and the color of the text is awesome!

But wait, yes I did say Side one, which leads one to conclude that YES THERE IS A SIDE TWO!!!!  Grin Grin Grin Grin

I love the color choices and again the crazy tiny stitching!!!! This is a 3" hoop I think, and it boggles my mind how hard you would have to squint to pull this off. CRAZY AWESOME!! Lime said she thought the little stitched lime looked more like a cucumber but I could go either way lol, and I love them both so it works hehe.

Here's an shot of my hoopla wall; obviously I got impatient for some company for my first hoop so I made a few and traded for a few  Smiley

And last, I had to include a close up of the card she sent me, complete with some of her own inchies which blow my mind too. I've tried to make them before and I'll admit that a 1" format is just not my cup of tea, but she fills it beautifully!!!!! I'm going to have to frame this or something  Cheesy

LimeRiot you are the best  Grin We will definitely have to cross swapping paths again in the near future!

I'm so glad you like your Bazinga! hoop sparrowarms...I had so much fun stitching it and watching The Big Bang Theory at the same time Smiley

Over the past couple of days I've received both of my hoops and I loveee both of them!  Smiley Here they are..

Sparrowarms made this absolutely adorable gnome themed hoop...and wow it's tiny!! It's a three inch hoop and is just sooo cute!!

The stitching is so tiny and neat. Here's a close up of the gnome (I'm going to say it again...sooo cute!)

Thank you so much, I love it Smiley

And then this morning I received this gorgeous hoop from Jolyon. I love woodland animals so it's perfect, and the stitching has me in awe...

I'm feeling very inspired to try some new stitches! Here's a close up for a better look at the stitching...

It's beautiful, thank you Smiley

AND he came wrapped with a beautiful washcloth

I love it!  This was definitely worth the wait!!!

Also, since I am posting like crazy here, this is my 3 year old.  He has decided he wants to "sew" like mamma so had to get him all set up!

Smiley I think it is impossible to get him to look at the camera AND smile at the same time!

every one is to talented, all of the hoops are really great!! Cant wait till rd 4!!!!

Oh don't worry one of those things is in the hoop. But not both. But I think you'll like it. Just need to finish it this weekend and then it will be in the mail on Monday!

In other news: I received from the lovely and talented thenorm02! Oh yeah! I love it. She noticed my slight love of mustaches in my wists and made me another lovely mustache hoop! I like it cause its square! And tiny. So tiny! I wish I could find some tiny hoops. Sadly my local fabric store only goes to 4 inches if I'm lucky!

ok so here you go:

And here it is on my wall (as well as celticgoddess' hoop). A friend of mine rearranged my hoop wall when we were staging my house this week. I like the new layout and its kinda a "headboard" to our bed since we don't have one.

I also received a little Christmas present from  thenorm02. (its not an extra, its a Christmas present!) Its the cutest little red nosed hedghog/reindeer from my wist! I'm so excited for this little guy! I still need to make my son's Christmas stocking (he's only 11 months so we got away without having it made!) and I might just use this guy on there! I love love love him! He's so cute! (I especially like the shiny white thread used as light around the red nose!) My daughter is gonna flip when she sees it too. She loves Rudolph so she's gonna probably beg me to give her this hedgehog. (but I'm not gonna cave. the baby needs cute things too!)

Thank you thenorm02! I love it all! Thanks for being my partner!

There are a lot of really awesome hoops in the gallery!   But none of them are as awesome as mine  Shocked  Grin

SheepBlue sent me an amazing hoop.  She followed all of my likes.   I actually gasped when I opened the package, and I saw the back first!

Detail of awesome beading!

The colors are not entirely true.  I was using incandescant light.
I love the rainbow!  and the clouds and everything really!  Thank you so much.  Your work is not only beautiful but polished looking.
