I just received a super package from onegroovyday. Everything is sooo amazing. I love it all.

I really wanted a snuggie so she made me one  Grin She even added a strap so I can close it. It couldn't be more perfect. I think she said that she used different fabrics since she couldn't buy any. I thought it was intentional Cheesy It gives it such a cute look. I love it. It is so bright and colorful. It couldn't be any more 'me'.

She also sent a super cute nightgown (which I am wearing now). It's comfy and cute, what could be better?

And, as if that wasn't enough, she sent a pair of frog PJ's. The frog on the shirt is embroidered. It looks amazing.

Here is closeup of the frog:

She also sent a zipper pouch (I always need zipper pouches), a drawstring backpack for my mom and a embroidered Jack Skellington for a family friend.

The detail on this is astonishing. I know she will love it. I can't wait to send it to her.

As you can see, this is sooo cute and it looks even better in person. I hate to see it go, but I know it is just perfect for my mom. I showed her (on skype) everything I got in the swap. She loved it all. But when I got to the bag, I didn't even have a chance to say it was her's, before she started saying how amazing it was and that she loved it. At least we know she likes it  Grin The picture doesn't do it justice.

I absolutely love my package. Thank you so much onegroovyday.

I received a great package from the lovely karin_  a couple of days ago but haven't been able to post pictures until now.

This really cute wist-inspired totebag that would be perfect for a craft bag.  The polka dot lining is really sweet.

Button stamps!  Again, something wisted from Craftster.  I cannot, of course, find an ink pad anywhere to start playing with them.

An Eddie Izzard purse!  This was a lovely surprise!

I don't do much papercrafting, so it's always great to receive notecards.  I love the "classic cat" pose and the gorgeous papers.  They're on really high quality card.

A bracelet craft kit and a little clay gnome and toadstool!  SO cute!!

And this absolutely stunning piece of felt artwork.  The colours work perfectly together (they're a little washed out here by my camera flash) and it looks like it took forever!!

Thank you SO much for a great package and for being a lovely partner, karin.  I really hope your package reaches you soon!!

This has been a great swap, such amazing packages.  I love the doggy pillow.  A cat one would be amazing!

glad you liked everything gamemom, my life is still hectic - got called to teach 2 hrs away from home to day, I've been up for 18 hours, so no pics today, perhaps tomorrow, if not, they'll definatly be up after our camping trip.

No problem, I'll go ahead and post them for you and you can mark it off your list.

I decided to do a holiday package for J_Kieviet.

First a few Halloween treats:

Halloween Hot Pads

And a little Halloweeny Hoopla:

Next I made a few Christmasy things for her:

An ornament:

A cross-stitched patch that she can sew onto whatever she wants, or she can attach a hanger and turn this into an ornament too:

A yo-yo doily:

And some kits to do herself ( I didn't buy these, they were passed to me when my Mom quit crafting and just started crocheting all the time)

J said her niece loves to craft so I made her a colorful craft apron:

And I saved my own personal favorite for last ( have no idea if it's her favorite or not).  She said she loved fall, so I made her a personalized fall pin cushion.  It's wonky in the picture.  I knew shipping would put it out of shape, so I didn't bother pushing it into shape very well before I packed it.

alright since missbarbara has received, i will post pictures of what i sent to her.

i forgot to take a pic of the actual pillow.  i decided to make the pillow out of some orange flowery fabric so that when she removes the cover to wash it, the pillow can still be decorative.

pocketbook

close up of fabric

tea wallet and sunglasses cozy

resin magnets

resin circle pendant (its sitting on a orange flower notebook)

so apparently, one thing i made has gone missing.  Sad  i think it might have either got left outside during my photo shoot or else it got lost at the post office because i can't find it anywhere in my craft cave.  i have enough stash to make it again and its something missbarbara asked for so i am going to remake it and send it out to her.  i won't post pics of it because i want it to be a surprise!

glad you like the goodies i made!!

I got the most amazingly awesome swap package from missingwillow yesterday!

Group photo!

She sent me a whole bunch of homemade soaps and a jar of almond scrub. I love these! I'm addicted to handmade soaps and I can't wait to try the felted one. I put the cupcake in the guest bathroom yesterday and my friends thought it was the cutest thing ever. I tried out the almond scrub on my feet and it is fabulous. It smells great and my feet feel all soft and smooth.

Farm goodies! Raw fleece from her sheep for spinning!! I'm so excited to try it out! There are also a bunch of different heirloom seeds from her farm. I'm really excited about these, too! They have great names like "Mr. Stripey Tomato". And she sent along a jar of her homemade zesty peach BBQ sauce. Yum! I'm just really excited about everything in this photo! Grin

Knitting Stuff: She made me this very pretty needle roll. I love it! She cleverly sewed a magnet into one of the pockets to hold stitch markers. How neat is that?! She even sent some yarn to feed my other addiction. Wink

Little things: The bracelet is off my wist. It's so pretty! And the necklace features my pup! It just makes me smile. And here's a close up of the stitch markers.

And last but not least, she made a leash bag from my wist. It has lots of pockets to hold everything I might need when I'm out and about with my pupper. (Caleb says "thank you" for the treats. He thoroughly enjoyed them!)

Thank you so much, missingwillow!! You are a fantastic swap partner.

I got my awesome package today!! My neighbour kindly took it in when I'd popped out for lunch, the box was HUGE!

Inside was an awesome decoupaged storage box! I need some storage so badly and this is perfect!!

Inside I got some dairy free treats! Hooray!! Some delicious flapjack that I don't think will last very long! It got a little bashed around in the post but still tastes great Cheesy

I also got a really cool vintagey style apron, similar to one on my wists Smiley

I also got some cool earrings and a really cool nautical broach!

Thanks for everything!

I received yesterday from Kwality570. I am just thrilled with everything. I actually squealed a couple time.

Group shot. The new holiday crafts mag, and a beautiful Rapunzel scarf. Is that handspun yarn I see??

Super awesome hat. Straight off my wists.

Felted bowls.

Super cute birdy pin. I've been spying these everywhere, and I love it.

Toad-ally squeeal worthy. (Sorry ladies-had to do it. It's been a long week)

And the best part (funny how a little piece of acrylic can make your week) R2-D2 and CP3-O

Thanks Kwality!! Grin Grin Grin

I got received from Cinnamon Teal today and I LOVE everything!  I am in awe of her crafting skills!  First of all, she sent me some large stickers/wall clings from her stash, plus some fabric.  I literally had that skull fabric in my hands at the fabric store a few weeks ago.  The yellow is vintage fabric is from her great aunt's travels to India.

Mixed media art (!) depicting two of the creatures we raise on our farm.  I am thrilled with these and have a brand new shelf that they are going to live on.

Hand made thank you and holiday cards.  How cute are these?

Dog bones for our dogs from her dog Caleb.  Jenna already sampled and gives them a paws up!

A hand carved stamp for our farm!  My husband bought me a huge weeping willow tree for my birthday 3 years ago.  Beavers had carted it off within the first week after planting it.  I am seriously in awe of this, as is my husband.

Does anyone remember the 'The NOT $200 Acorn and Pompom Hat' craftster post from a few months ago?  I thought that was the cutest winter hat I had ever seen and put it on my wist.  Well, I found one in my box in a gorgeous wine color.  I was like... seriously?  I now have one??  I bow to your knitting skills, Cinnamon Teal, and I LOVE the hat.  Thank you thank you thank you so much for everything!

I rec'd an over the top package from J_Kieviet today.

For my granddaughter she sent a personalized, glittery, totally cute school supply set.  My granddaughter's name is Alisha and everything personalized is spelled Alicia, so she is going to be thrilled with this:

For my daughter Whitney she sent a crocheted skull and cross bones and a pretty and useful hot drink mix roll which will be perfect for her long days at school:

For me she sent a cute little crocheted bee and a very small and very pretty embroidered bird in a hoop.  I just started a hoopla wall ( check out the hoopla swap gallery) so this couldn't be more perfect!:

And for my daughter Tara she sent the cutest monkey you could possibly imagine.  I hope its adorable personality ( it really does have one) shows in the picture:

Thank you so much J_Kieviet.  We sat around the dinner table tonight and opened our little individually wrapped bundles.  It was like having mini-Christmas!

Edit:  Looking at my post, I just realized that the mini hoop is probably a Christmas ornament depicting a partridge in a pear tree.  Oh well, I love it whatever it is and it's already on my hoopla wall and there it will stay Smiley

I received the most amazing package from littlebluegirl yesterday!! Soo many goodies!

To start off, here is a group shot. Look at all that stuff!! This shot shows the adorable robot amigurumi (was supposed to be for my nephew, but I don't know if I can part with it!!), wonderful faux bois embroidery, knitted zipper bag, neat button extras, crocheted slippers (these are a little tight on my oaf feet so I might give them as a gift to someone, my mom would love the color!), the AMAZING colorful granny square scarf, and the equally amazing granny square slippers!

Next up, awesome handmade bath stuff! A yummy smelling sugar scrub, pretty soap, and really cool bath "tea bags" that smell divine. I love this idea, I have to take a bath so I can try them out!!

Close up of the little robot! Isn't he adorable??

A shot of my lovely slippers in action! I put them on the moment I unwrapped them, and had them on all evening! Super warm and comfy!

And last but not least, a horribly goofy shot of me wearing my granny scarf! I love this thing!! I had it on all day today in school, and I got lots of compliments. It's so bright and cheery, perfect for fall!

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH LITTLEBLUEGIRL!
