Well, looks like I'm the first to receive!! Look at the amazing package I just got from pops! I love it all Smiley

Firstly, there were these fantastic hippy bell bottom jeans! Look they have appliqud details! They're also petite fit, which is amazing because I'm quite short and so nearly everything I have has to be taken up!

and the back

There was also a gorgeous mini art hanging, a very hippy themed one with mushrooms and flowers!  Grin Can you believe that this is pops first one!?

Even the back's pretty!

A lovely baker boy cap, I actually don't have a sun hat at the moment, and this one is so pretty with it's leaf detail!

another funky batik fabric cap with tassels (Love all your fabrics by the way!)

A very pretty bag for my poi (they'll be the best kept poi at the next festival I go to!) That dragonfly fabric is gorgeous by the way!

A lovely hippy t-shirt in my favourite colour, with a very subtle and pretty CND symbol..

A fimo pendant and beads...

And last, but by no means least, a macrame book! Guess what my next Hippy Swap partner's going to get *lol*

Thank you so much pops! I really love everything you sent me!  Kiss
Okay folks, you can start Wisting now!

it's all so very 'me' it's hardly fair! you will learn very fast i like green Wink
get those wisting buttons dusted down...

firstly a group shot, apart from a lovely top which i'm wearing! Cheesy and i don't ahve a close up of the incense holder which dh has pilfered!!! bt it's decoupaged and sparkly Grin

this is a large in anyones book - a handmade bellydancing coin belt! (the crocheting is TINY this must have taken forever!) the lily is a hair clip to wear while dancing (my class is tomorrow and my neighbour goes too so i will flaunt it at her! Tongue )

forgive the poor photography, it's quite hard to get a decent shot of one's own rear!

this is an altered top, with a ruffle made of organza and beads - it went straight on and is gorgeous, i don't have many 'dressy' tops but this is perfect, goes well with jeans Smiley

a knitted slouch hat! so soft and beautifully stitched, i love it xxx

and then there was this little box...

how beautiful is this?! Samsara, what inks/paints do you use, i must have some!!!
it contained the lily hair clip and more little treasures........

absolutely stunning necklace, i adore this, perfect colours, length and a celtic knot to boot - totally beautiful

a needlefelted brooch, and even this tiny piece has so much thought and detail, i just like to look at it!

AND!!!!!
a felt and embellished notebook cover, complete with a little notebook! i love lists and write a lot to get all the mess in my head straightened out! Tongue so this was very sweet and helpful

and finally,
how retro is this? a decorated light bulb! Cheesy i'm hunting for a bayonet fitting lamp to show you all how it glows, i remember doing these with nail polish when i was about 13 Grin

now i know you all must be tried after that mammoth post! but a big BIG thankyou to the wonderful Samsara for being thoroughly awesome as a crafter, partner, organiser and lady!

Sooooo, I received and let me tell you Abbeeroad is an AMAZING swap partner.  All this stuff is EXACTLY what I love.  Exactly.

So, here is the package before  I went through it:

Do you see that card on top?  It was filled with wonderful things!  She is SUCH a sweet person.

Here is my large.  This lovely skirt made from hand dyed sheets!!!  Can you believe it?  She said: the peace sign is a little imperfect.  WHAT are you kidding me?  It is PERFECT!  It doesn't need to look mass-produced anyway.  Little imperfections are what handmade is all about.

AND she made a headband to go with the skirt.  I neglected to take a picture of it, but I am running out of time. I need to go tutor in a few minutes.  Hopefully, I can take another picture tomorrow. Wink

UPDATE!!!

And this came straight off of my wists!  I love it so much!  It is so versatile.  I can wear it with jeans or a dress!

And just LOOK at these earrings!

Here is a close up:

I WISH I had her talent!

Here is the necklace and bracelet:

Here is a picture of the bracelet on:

I love it so much.  I am probably going to wear it everyday.   Grin

AND she made me a frame.  This frame shows her amazing talent!:

Just look at all that DETAIL!

ANDDDDD she dyed some tshirts for my husband and son!  I will try to get them to model it later on.  - Sorry, I only took a picture of the big one - but they look exactly the same Smiley.

UPDATE!!!!!

Thank you THANK you so much Abbeeroad!!!!

OK, geat ready for photo overload!  Here's my WONDERFUL package from fluffybaka!!

A grea tye dye half apron Smiley  She also sent the extra fabric she didn't use for the apron, I have it tied around my head here LOL!

Here's the fabric!

4 yeah FOUR pairs of fab earrings

A bunch of nature-luvin', hippie-cool rhinestone transfers.

Bead, button and charm OVERLOAD!!  She asked about supplies I would like, and I said what my fave colors were and that I was short on oranges and yellows in my bead box.  Boy, did she deliver and then some!  The twistable crayons look fun, I have a couple coloring books still (even though I'll be 30 next year!  LOL!) so I will probably bust those out and color later on.

Hilarious free-standing plaque, beading book, and tye dye duct tape.  Awesome!  I have been wanting to get into more beading stuff, I'm sure this book is bound to have answers when I need them Smiley

TOTALLY AWESOME cluster bracelet and cute little necklace on leather.

Aaannnnddd....the bracelet again because I love it SOOOO much!!!

An ironing board FULL of fabrics!!!  I'm totally loving the blue tye dye and the rainbow happy faces and the flannel pincushion/rotarycutter fabric.

And now, my 2 more fave items in the WHOLE package!!!!

KNITTED KNEE LENGTH SOCKS THAT ACTUALLY FIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have such a hard time with knee socks cuz I have big calves, but fluffy got measurements from me to make sure it was Cinderella and her slipper...a perfect fit!  Oh, and they are MACHINE WASHABLE!!  YAY!

Little Hippies!!!!  They are made to be me (blonde hair) and my wife Nicky.  We're tokin' on a hookah....filled with tobacco of course Roll Eyes  LOL!

I give up!  I guess I'm just gonna post blurry pictures.  I think my camera is dying.... Or maybe I just really need my tripod to take a decent picture.
TSM, if you took pictures before you sent, feel free to post them.  These just do not do your work justice.

Here's everything together.  Look at all that color!

The wall art.  I love mushrooms!  And I adore the peacock art.  It'll look great on my wall.

Another shot of the mushroom because I love it so much.

Loads of jewelry!  That glare in the middle is a really pretty green and brown charm bracelet with leaves and such.  Up in the left corner are two butterfly wing pendants, straight off my wists!  And a knitting charm which lives on my knitting bag now.  Smiley

Hemp macrame goodness!  A belt, which will have an action shot later, and a necklace with some really pretty blue lampwork beads.

A cool tie-dye cloth and a ceramic owl to paint.  too cute!

A purple flower circlet!  (eeee!  perfect for festivals!), the action shot for the belt (which fits perfectly, btw), and a really cute skirt.

And finally, a super comfy dress made of a beautiful paisley print fabric.  I love it!  I've already worn it to the lake.  Smiley

This package was wonderful.  I love it all.  Thank you so so much!!  This was a wonderful surprise to receive after spending a week moving.  You rock!

YAY!!!  I am so so glad you like everything, ayanared!  And I'm soo glad the skirt fits!!  And that obi looks great on you!!!

AND....I got my package today too!!  The swap gods were smiling on us today....

I cannot gush about my package enough.  It is sooo amazing, exactly what I wanted, and everything is so beautifully made!

Where to start?  Here's (almost) everything:

I didn't get a close up of the market bag, but it is so cool.  Brown is my favorite color, and I love the variations in this bag.  I am taking it to the farmer's market tomorrow!

Here's a close up of the stamp and the tree of life pendant:

The stamp is based off one of my favorite quotes "Live by the sun, Love by the moon."  She said it was her unprofessional design, but it is so perfect!  I love that you designed it, ayanared!!  And the tree of life is her first!!  So amazing!  Right off my wists  Grin

Here's an action shot of the earings and one of the hats:

I love the earings, they remind me of the sun, and the hat is sooo me!  I love it.  There is a dark brown one, too.

Here's an action shot of the other hat.  I don't have dreads, but I have enough curls to fill it up!  LOVE THIS!  (so does my hubby, lol  Wink)

Ayana said hats were her specialty and she is beyond right!  These are so soft, so professional looking, and so beautiful.  I feel like I am wearing her art!  Amazing!

And last but SO not least.  The piece de resistance, my Janis Joplin ami doll!!!!  She is sooo awesome!  So much work went into her!  I love her little bracelets, her necklace, her wild hair, her vest...I just love her!  You are so talented, ayanared!  I think I mgiht make her some bell bottoms  Wink

Thank you Thank you Thank you, Ayana!  I absolutely love it all.  Thanks for making this an amazing swap (goes double for you, Samsara!).  I could not be happier!

Bonus shot:

Little guy loved the package, too!!

Seriously, thank you  Grin
