I have white vinyl ones too =] But for really cheap practice and convenience the rubber are ok too! Just a personal like.

Here are my first stamps =] I did the small eraser ones first, and my rose was one i did yesterday, it took 4 hours!
Sorry about the crappy photos =[ I just had to downgrade to a crappy camera, im use to digital photography grade nice cameras.
I honestly dont know how normal people with these little pocket cameras do it =S its so hard to go back after i have had a taste of the best.

Back to carving.Another round of handmade rubber stamps!
Rubber stamps can be made of carving rubber (can be purchased online) or from erasers (youll need a new one of good quality).
For this swap well be in groups of 3-6 participants and youll be making one stamp for each person in your group. Youll have 4 weeks for designing/carving, but of course you can send out as soon as youre ready.

I tried some erasers for the first time yesterday and they are just perfect. They carve easily and give a good clear print. (so much better than the carving block I had)
So I made my username and a simple Mario item:

Just went to the dollar store to buy more erasers (25 cents!) so I can practice more this weekend, yay!  Cheesy

I have been carving a little to refine my skills before i get my partner =] Here is the stamp i recently did, (im a very green beginner!)

Its a brass knuckles in the shape of a paw =] I did it for a personal swap with Pirate Coley! =]
