Be prepared to be awed. Rec'd both partners items late Friday, and I'm still working and sick so sorry, but here they are first from Tattooed, so happy to be your replacement partner.

Disclaimer, I have been very sick, no makeup, didn't brush my teeth, or my hair and wash my face. up and out for pictures while a friend was still here.

Here is my new winter coat from Christina Coghill, the jacket has so many amazing details, that is why this swap is so fun.

Woodland thanks for letting me help with this swap, and for organizing. When I feel better I will go into more of the details of these pices, but I hope the pictures give you an idea of how awesome it all is.

I am posting a few pictures for my partner. Hopefully we will be able to see some action shots soonish.

I made a reversible vest. This is the second piece of clothing I have made for a male.
The pictures are taken on a female dress form because that is all I have. I was very inspired by making this piece and want to make more clothing for men.

The front of one side:

Left bottom detail:

Top left detail. I call this Gibbous Argyl. I really like this part of the vest.

A patch that I really like:

Some stitching detail on the bottom right:

Some detail on the back of the first side, I thought I had a shot of the whole back side, but I guess I don't:

Right side of the vest on the reverse side:

I received quite a while ago, but I lost my camera so I have only just now taken and uploaded pictures.

When I opened my package I found a wonderful garment! It was covered in little post-it notes telling me all about the fabric that was used to make the caplet.

Action shot from the front:

From the back:

With the remove able hood off:

I love it so much! It is what I asked for exactly!

wooooo, I'm finally able to post pictures! I'd lost my camera cable so I haven't been able to up-load any pictures to my computer.

Now I have the chance to show off everything that Aveykin made!

The Skirt!

close up of the top

with the bustle (sorry for the bathroom shot, my father is completely technologically challenged....)

The Belt!

The Necklace!

(the skull like thing isn't part of the necklace that Avey made)

Woo, that's everything! I was majorly spoiled! Thank you Avey!

Let me know if anyone wants more close up shots!!!

Finally some pictures!

It's a shame that the intricacies and detail of this dress cannot be fully expressed via photo because it is trully incredible! But hopefully these pictures will do it a bit of justice.

This is one of my favorite scraps. Its a lovely color and the palm print is really interesting. Theres bits and pieces of it in other places too.

This is the underskirt. It is just as detailed and beautiful as the overdress part. It has hand sewed jewels, beads and trinkets attached and is made of old lace, embroidered fabrics and delicate beautiful scraps. I would wear it all by itself if I could! The way it attaches is equally ingenious. It buttons through to the front so that you can see all the different mismatched buttons all the way around.

This little bead is sandwitched between layers and is among many treasures hidden this way!

Both the straps have awesome buttons! one is a little pin that says edmonton. THATS WHERE I LIVE! Such a lovely personal detail.

Ok, that was probably huge and long but it deserves all that space!

Thanks so so much again Wulf!

All of my (not so) patient waiting has been rewarded today (it took the mail 4 whole postal days of curiosity killing me) as a package arrived in the mailbox today from Strawberry Jeli.

After opening the envelope:

The tag is full of pretty green ribbons that will be put to great use I know...he he

And the beautiful little tag she wrote me a message on:

First up was the awesome bracelet she made for me (that I just had to wear around today and inspired me to try making something like it for fun)

Here's the front:

And the Back:

And the I'm not very photogenic obligatory picture.  It looks so much better in person I promise.

Sorry about the roughness of the pictures, My camera is acting up again so I had to use the stupid cell phone and Hubby didn't want go outside for the action shot.  I love both so very much and they are so me!  Thank you Jane!!!!!

I received my Steampunky waistcoat from thatbluesea today!! The colours are absolutely dead-on perfect, and it's made almost entirely of very properly waistcoaty woolens, with a few bits of black cheesecloth thrown in to make you take notice. (I love dyed cheesecloth, as thatbluesea will see when she gets her package!) There's also a few bits of black and white ribbon, camouflage cloth, etc.

Here's a better picture of the front. (I've just realized I didn't take a proper picture of the back).

And some of the details. Two of the buttons are lovely vintage, but the third one is actually a West German 10 pfennig coin! (Is that my favourite bit? Probably, though it's hard to choose.) Most of the back is actually made of up strips and bits woven together. The wheel emblem that looks like it was cut off the front of a school blazer is actually hand embroidered on!

As feared, it is a bit tight, but not too tight, and perfectly fine if worn unbuttoned. So I probably won't have to do more than move the buttons to the other side. The whole "men button left over right, women right over left" thing makes my head hurt every time. I always have to mime buttoning something up to make sure it's the right way around, and of course if it's a woman's garment, I have to somehow reverse that, which is so confusing... So don't feel at all bad about getting it wrong way round! And it's easily fixed. I'll also move the pocket down to accommodate my watch chain. (We had a bit of a discussion about this, but I never did clarify where it ought to go. Sorry!)

Anyhow, I love it Cheesy and I love the fact that our interpretations of Gibbous style are so similar. It bodes well for thatbluesea liking what I've made her!

Ok I guess woodland faery hasn't had access to a camera or something  Undecided... but I couldn't wait any longer to show you all what I made.
It's a bustle and underskirt attached to a customised leather and fabric belt. The underskirt looked pretty all on it's own, so I put on some little buttons and loops so it can be removed and worn on its own. I spent a lot of time in the woods studying colours and textures to make it lovely and foresty just how she wanted it.

I'm so glad that you liked the top and cuff bracelet, Feywalker! Here's a couple detail shots I took before sending them off:

And now finally, here are the photos of the package I received. Feywalker surprised me with not one gorgeous jacket, but TWO.

I love these so much, I've already worn them several times since getting them.
