I"m FINALLY finding a morning to post pictures of my swap goodies!  Sorry it took so long!   Undecided  Sarahj send me a HUGE yarnball!  So here are tons of pictures of all the goodies inside!  She picked two of my themes (music and chocolate) and then sent lots of crafty goodies with those two themes!

The two massive balls of yarn I rolled as I was unwinding this yarnball!  Black really is such a useful color isn't it?

She sent me TWO patterns!  These are patterns from one of my Ravelry lists!

The 6, yes, count them, 6 skeins of Red Heart inside the yarnball!

The skein of Lion Brand Homespun that tried to escape picture taking!

Chocolate Egg, Chocolate scented soap, Life is Good sticker (matched the tire cover on my jeep!) and 5 blocks of polymer clay!  There was a chocolate bunny too but I needed sustinance while unwrapping and he was the unfortunate victim.   Cheesy

She knew I wanted to learn how to spin using a drop spindle so she sent me roving and a drop spindle!  yay!  Every time I say roving I think of a song the men's choir did in college "a-roving, a-roving, since roving's been my ru-i-n, I'll go no more a-roving with you fair maid"  It's not a clean song but its really funny.   Cheesy

packaging tape...  with a design on it!  how cool is that?!  I've seen it at Michael's before, just never bought it.  I love it!

Crocheted music notes!  I'm going to take these to school and hang them somewhere in the classroom!

A knitted washcloth with music notes on it!  How amazing is that?!

Earrings!  I love earrings!  I have lots of them!  Are the animals llamas or alpacas???  My other guess was giraffes. Huh

dipping chocolate....  time to break out the strawberries and pineapple!!

Matching earrings and pendant!  These are from my wist!  I love them!

Here comes the sun, do-n-doo-doo, here comes the sun, and I say, its all right...  She made me a music scarf with Here Comes the Sun on it!  My favorite song of ALL time!

Finally....  a record purse!  Amazing!  Sorry there's not a good shot of the fabric inside but that fabric is really awesome as well!  My students are going to get a kick out of it when I take it to school!   Grin

THanks so much sarahj!!!  You spoiled me!

I'm finally getting around to posting the pictures from the wonderful yarn ball that yelutci sent me! I love the yarn so much.  I want about 8 more balls of it.

I didn't get a pic of the ball before Sad  I couldn't find my camera and I couldn't wait.  It was neat though, she'd wrapped the big needles and the folder with the pattern in the ball too.

This is the folder she used to hold the patterns.  She made the rock, paper, scissors, lizard spock game onto a card to play! Its so fun.

and she included these stickers to help play the game...

And this is the pattern.  I'd said I wanted this one, and she included a whole bunch of examples!

This is the purse she sent -- it wasn't in the ball, but that's okay! its the fat bottomed bag, and I have meant to make this for myself for a while! Its even lined and has awesome buttons on it.  I love the colors!

lining

This is a shot of all of the supplies that were in the ball.  Each item was wrapped in tissue.

there's a broomstick lace pin, some knitting needles that will probably make a better pin, she said, some embroidery floss, buttons and iron on letters!

And here's all the crafted items

there's a bookmark and a some crocheted earrings and a TRIBBLE!!! in blue!
oh, except for these two items, which are totally my favorites
the star trek wash cloth:

and the earrings/stitch markers.  i'm totally using them for earrings (this was the best shot I could get, but they are not blurry in real life.  Promise)

And th is is the yarn! Isn't it great!

Thank you so much!! I hope to have your stuff finished in the next couple of days! Smiley

OH, MY! GOODIES!!! I AM OVERWHELMED! 'just received my package and I actually managed to take pictures! It took me at least 1.5 hours to turn this...

into this...

!!!
This being my first Craftster swap and my second EVER swap (my only other swap before this was with Thing-A-Day - since we were swapping things we were already making for the sprint, we didn't really need to know our swap partner), I know it was a challenge to figure me out, but loudxmouse - SPOT ON! i love everthing in this package... thanks for bringing me christmas in May (my husband said, "it's like christmas, isn't it?")! (now i just hope you like what's in yours!)

onto the goods (sorry about all the pics! how else was i going to show you everything?) loudxmouse sent me a bike-themed yarn ball with a WHOLE LOTTA extras (and i can see where all your ideas came from!) and everything I need to make this awesome bike bag! (i'll be riding again starting next week and would love to be sporting this bag with me sometime soon!)

a bike-themed shirt, shoelaces (that i may not wear biking - too pretty and would get muddy in a hurry!) and the handles for my new bag (perfect for putting on the rack and then using it as a regular purse!)

supplies! knitting needles, stitch counter, stitch markers, decorative buttons, yarn spools (i use these a lot and these are much cuter than the ones i have), pink ribbon trim, and doll eyes (you must have seen the animals on my blog?!)

stitch markers (see the bike charm?!), and wooden gift tags - these are adorable!

rub-on letter transfers and raised stickers in my initial (and, incidentally, my daughter's initial, too, so i will need to hide these when she comes to visit)

super cute magnets (i saw you sneak a robot in there!)

a post-long bike ride first aid/spa kit, bag included(it's hidden), complete with a cupcake-shaped band aid (sorry, i didn't want to take it out of the package for the picture, but trust me, it's super cute)

post bike-ride-cleanup dazzlers: body spray, body sparkle, gems and beads (final sparkle function TBD Smiley

finally, some relaxessories (accessories for when i'm relaxing after cleaning myself up:) a steampunk ring, hand-spun necklace, bracelet and ANOTHER bike charm on a chain (I didn't realize how much I would, but I REALLY LOVE THE BIKE CHARMS)

THANKS AGAIN LOUDXMOUSE for being a great swap partner/mentor!

Another awesome Yarn ball! So many fun goodies inside! That owl sleep mask is really cute and an awesome idea!

I received my lovely Yarn Ball today from Jexxican!! OMG I seriously love everything that she included! She chose my Spring theme which actually meant that she could add in my frog and daisy theme into it!

This what I saw when I opened the box:

The lovely white handspun is for me to dye, the roving to learn to spin and the yummy handspun yarn as a treat! (She posted the yarn on Fiber Friday a little while ago and I told her that I loved it and would gladly take it Wink )

The lovely yarn ball! Definitely very Springy!!

This is just before reaching the center...

The lovely fibery goodness! The yarn she sent is super super soft, then the very pretty "Windflower" roving that I can't wait to learn how to spin into pretty yarn! I think all the yarn/fiber together even has a spring feeling! *in love" lol

The crafted goods! 3 daisy pens, they kind of got popped off on the tops but I have some floral tape to fix 'em! Some crochet flower hair clips, a crochet daisy headband and an awesome crochet frog!

The purchased goodies! Some spring themed foam stickers and ribbon (also fits in with my crafting theme) some cute little froggies and some flower shaped silicone cupcake cups! We make a lot of cupcakes so these will be used a lot!!

And because I am SOOOOOOO very excited about this item, it gets its own picture:

My first ever drop spindle! I am so incredibly excited to start spinning! I can't wait to *hopefully* make beautiful yarn like you one day!

And here are the awesome patterns:

Some cabled wrist warmers, and 2 lovely bags! I'm in love with the hobo one and the boucle bag looks like an awesome pattern too!!

Thank you so much Jexxican! I'm supposed to be making stuff for my sisters wedding tonight but it will be so hard not to search all over the web for spinning tutes! I hope you enjoy your yarn ball as much as I love mine!!

So here are some photos of the MYB and contents I sent to tcha345the theme off tcha345's list I chose was 'Asian Theme'

the whole MYB I sent to tcha345..

The wool I sent to tcha345...I thought the sparkles would make a beautiful dragon, with either dragon pattern...I had already started to wrap the ball before remembering to take a photo of the wool too so only took photo of some of it...but shows the beautiful sparkles...the fluffy wool was for the asian dragon pattern, as it asked for it...

Two asian dolls I made (from tcha345's wist) for the asian theme

the dolls from the back

The bought things I put into MYB, Ninja styled russian doll set, fake sushi and chopsticks, sushi shaped erasers, one asian doll keyring, one asian doll phone decoration, special dragon/ying n yang pen, asian fan, treasure box filled with beads and punched out cardboard shapes, and a special trinket necklace from NZ of a taniwha (Maori dragon to go with dragon pen, stuffie and patterns)

Little Asian Dragon I made from front

from one side

and the other

Funny finger puppets I made for asian themed MYB, one farmer, one ninja, one lady and one sumo wrestler...they made me lol...

I received from baa-me-chick today! I had loads of fun unwrapping everything, especially since the lost parcel that I sent to her (the one that went to the Netherlands for some obscure reason only sorting computers can fathom) arrived in Scotland yesterday! Yay! So I didn't have to feel guilty and was free to appreciate all the nice stuff that she sent. She went with two of my themes, Britain and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. You cannot go wrong with either of them, really... just walking into a store with touristy British items and picking things randomly will (almost) do  Grin ... and who can resist Buffy and her gang!

Anyway, here goes:

Everything in the box. She's even got a crafty swap lady business card!

The ball, the two patterns (one for the handspun used for the magic yarn ball, the other one for the other yummi yarn) and some extra yarn.

Closeup of the barn - LOVE the handspun! - with a pretty tartan ribbon

All the goodies from left to right: two nice balls of brown soft merino, some shortbread and Yorkshire boiled sweets, the British/Scottish good stuff (keychains, Edinburgh castle coaster, tartan ribbon, iron on Scottie (yay), a funky green pen on a stand with a little highland cow on top, two cute Westhighland White Terrier buttons, a bracelet with shrinky charms, handmade soaps with thistle and celtic knot pattern, a ... mystery item with a shrinky charm of a highland cow), Buffy goodies (fridge magnets with pictures, crochet and knitting stitch markers that spell B U F F Y and S L A Y E R, a little blank book "Buffy forever"  Cheesy), the two balls of yarn for the two patterns (a cowl pattern for the handspun, a scarflette crochet pattern for the mirage yarn)

Some closeups:

mystery item (shawl closure thingie?)

stitch markers:

very cool British bracelet:

fridge magnets:

notebook:

handmade soaps:

closeup of the yarn for the crochet pattern:

Thanks baa-me-chick - I loved your MYB package!! I hope you'll have fun unpacking, too (last I heard she waited for a new camera before unwinding the ball.. )!

Horay, so I have finally figured out how to shrink the photos, so here they are...on a side note I didn't mean you were scary Jexxican...lol...be prepared for photo overload (o=

The gorgeous MYB and mini MYB in the box (look how patient I was...and prepared...ooo...er...an actual photo of it as I was opening the box...lol

The beautiful dragon egg hidden inside the gorgeous hand spun yarn...which is a beautiful foresty green...absolutely delightful!

The MYB after the outer layer of soft and fluffy wool had been wound off...and my puppy watching the progress...he was as excited as I was (o=

The super cool framing for the altered puzzle before I found all the pieces tucked inside the ball...

The awesome altered jigsaw so cool...yes at the time the photo was taken two pieces were missing...but I have since found them...they had fallen out and I hadn't seen them...so found them tucked into the couch (o= lol...they were dragon scales in green...oh and the little mermaid is pictured here too

Wow~eh...super brilliant crochet owl, the top layer of fluffy wool I told you about, the stitch markers, some of the gorgeous ribbon and some of the puzzle pieces oh and the awesome owl stamp...I love stamps (o=

A close-up of the super cute crochet owl Jexxican made

A close-up pf the brilliant stitch markers, a faerie, two different types of dragons and an owl...awesome!

The most awesome stickers...love the fabulous dragon and the castle and the gorgeous owls too...brilliant

The knights in shining armor and in the next photo another shining knight and a catapult and a dragon! Ha!

And last but definitely not least the fabulous owl and faerie pendants...I am super anxious to make something awesome with them...will have to see what I can do...I absolutely adore the faerie pendant especially and oooed and aahhhed when it came out (o=

oh and okay for some bizzaro reason the computer doesn't like my photo of the three bundles of blue yarn that was in the middle (two the same as the light blue wool that the MYB was done in and one dark blue) to make my unicorn...the gorgeous pattern that came with the MYB...sorry haven't printed it yet so have no photo...but it is very cute and doubles as a door stopper...cool eh...

Thank you Thank you Thank you Jexxican for sending a lovely MYB and for being an awesome angel!!!

okay. FINALLY posting pics of the AMAZING yarnball that karizmatic sent me. This was her 1st swap and I have to say.... she kicked some major booty.

let there be pics!!!

1st of all, this  ball was HUGE, expecially for being made of DK weight yarn. how did you fit all this stuff in there?!
the yarn is from elann and the pattern is for a lovely, lace shell.

THREE balls of yarn later I finally unearth a bag of twizzlers. *phew* I take a break and watch law and order at this point.

if I had only waited I could have used this owl sleepmask to take a nap instead! hahah

a new yarn and some hair things... hmmm

OMG! butterfly hairbands! these will be perfect for me because my hair is longer than I like it and my cafe gets SO warm so I have been trying to pull it back and yet AVOID the dreaded ponytail. SO perfect. plus the decorations unclip from the band.

sock monKEYs from my wist and two fabric headbands (did you make these? they are lovely and soft)

SPATS. holllllly crap. I will try to take a picture of myself wearing them without looking like a goober. they are epic!

gummies (omg, japanese gummy candy is amazing. I ate the entire bag of mangosteen ones on a road trip and left little evidence wrappers all over my fiance's car!), union jack cup-cozy (i kept trying to figure out what body part this was for.... durrr) birdy headband! you can see here ow the embellishment is clipped to the headband so as to be multi-purpose clip/headband. GENIUS. copyright this right now kariz

MORE headband, MORE gummies!!!

in the very center was a very rattly little container full of some brittishy buttons and some lovely resin charm/pendants! yay!

I received my MYB from rock on a while ago, but haven't had a chance to post it until now.  She picked 2 of my themes, Hello Kitty and Care bears.  I LOVE everything she sent, and so does my daughter!

On with the Pics!!!

Here it is in the box Smiley

Here are the patterns she sent me

Here is my little minion unwrapping the ball.  She had so much fun unwrapping while I wound the yarn

the first thing she came to!  A new crochet hook!!

It took us a while to unwrap everything so here's the group shot of everything!

Some care bear magnets and fabric

Some of the Hello kitty stuff she sent.  She made some ribbon book marks which I love and have them in a couple books right now

Here's some of the other stuff, she even made me a knitted hello kitty doll, which is so cute

And one of my favorites, a hello kitty wash cloth!

Thank you so much Rockon for everything.  We are going to enjoy it a lot!!

Hee! I'm first in the gallery! I received from Burgz today! Yay!  Cheesy I haven't finished to unwind the yarn yet, it's a hard job! I'm taking a break now, my wrist was hurting! But I took a few 'in progress' shot that I thought I'd share with you all.

Here it is out of the box (it's huge! and I have a strong suspicion that she went with my game theme even if I haven't looked in the booklet yet!  Wink)

Here I see a little something hidden, it's a Monopoly magnet!:

I see some blue! And here is where I'm at now.

I'm having so much fun! I can't wait to see all that you sent me Burgz!  Smiley
