So I had planned on making my BFFF a netbook bag for Christmas and when I saw this post https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=328289.0 I knew she would absolutely adore a button skull for decoration.

Kiwiblue must have amazing patience because his skull turned out way better. I'll admit I got tired of hand sewing buttons and got kind of sloppy at the end. She loved it though and that's what matters most.  Cheesy

I used a layer of thick quilters batting I had laying around between the inner and outer layer for protection.

The inside material is super fuzzy and soft - I love how it sticks out on the sides... it was completely unintentional.  Wink

I used snap buttons on the underside to keep the netbook safely in place. The white buttons are purely for decoration... and you know... I didn't think I hand sewed enough buttons for the day.  Cheesy

Omnomnom... silly netbook... you don't have teeth!
