hi everyone!
i haven't worked with felt since primary school, but this christmas i felt like making felt ornaments. great sentence  Roll Eyes
it's a little hard to see, but i didn't use glue. everything is stitched by hand with crocheting thread (i don't own embroidery floss)
here they are:

on my almost-christmas tree:

i love the rocking horses! i cut 2 more for myself, but until now i had no time to do them: it took around 9 hours to finish this one they look the same on both sides. it's got sequins and the yellow and orange dots are secured with french knots (french knots another "first" for me  Cheesy)

after cutting 28745 shapes out of felt:

this year  was a very "green" christmas. most of the felt ornaments were presents, i also made baubles: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=333575.msg3853134#msg3853134

i didn't buy anything except a plain t-shirt to print on it and 2 metres of felt :-)
presents are wrapped in old newspaper and repurposed tissue paper

i also made my own tags and cards i used for cupons and or notes that i wrapped with the presents (sorry for the bad pictures)

--------------------- Patterns ----------------------

that's the patterns i used. the dashed lines might help you to arrange the ornaments.
the scans were really bad after craftster-resizing, so i draw real patterns for you Smiley

i made the patterns myself, feel free to use them for your private crafting. i'd love to see pictures if you make some Smiley

LOL.  Not going to lie- I'm stalking your crafty projects.  Speaking of which, I didn't have the pics loaded when I replied before, but I did some Matryoshka felt ornaments in November/December too!  Totally before I knew you were doing them, as they were for the altered fairy tale swap. And sadly, they have no tree.

I just asked the hubs - he's been in Nevada/Arizona (Southwest US) for his whole life.  When I asked him if he knew about Easter trees, his face scrunched up with confusion.  But they sell 'em online at Target.com so a lot of somebodies in the US have to be buying them.  LOL.

And the felt ornaments I did: (please excuse the crappy pictures):
