Details of swap:
Inchies are tiny little works of art. They are exactly 1" by 1", grouped together, they are beyond wonderful! For this swap, we are changing things up a bit due to swappers requests - you will make 49 inchies. You will send 7 sets of 7 to different partners. so you will make 49 and get back 49

we will be in groups of 8

Here are a couple of examples of some inchies:

Inchies one more time

More inspiration:

all you would ever want to know about a inchie here - thanks Phizzychick for writing that up

There is plenty of time to make these, with sendouts Feb 16, 2010 - You can start right away, as they really don't need to be tailored to a certain partner. All mediums are welcome.  Inchies need to be on a sturdy base - Regular office paper won't work - You can use things like card stock, cardboard etc. If you are doing fabric be sure to put some kind of interfacing to make them sturdy - the links posted are great for ideas.

Shipping - Please protect your inchies - don't just throw them in a envie and hope for the best - they are going to get beat up - Those little note cards work great for sending inchies as would just a pcs of cardstock folded over in a envie
I like to use atc card protectors and staple in between the inchies so they each have their own pocket and send that in a note card. also PLEASE include your user name on the back of your inchies - makes a bit easier to thank you for your wonderful inchies

Pictures are required.  Some like to post pics as they receive and others like to post after they received all of them.  You may use a camera or a scanner.

So who wants to play?

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

Name of swap: Inchies - it's a new year!

Craftster username:

Your real name:

Mailing address including the country:

Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country? Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country? YES, this will be required.

Confirm that are at least 13 years old (yes/no):

1.  What kind of inchies are you wanting to do? (you can answer unsure here if you aren't sure yet).

2.  What kind of inchies would you like to receive? (examples would be fabric or cute or bizzarre, anything, etc)

I CANNOT guaranty that I can match people up perfectly, so keep an open mind.

So I made a page anyway. This is similar to the envelope punch I have. I'm not sure the best way to print but as long as you scale it to 8.5x11 it will be right. I also have an ATC envelope and can put either on A4 paper size or other if ya need!

They are quite cute Knickertwist!

I just finished my first inchies!!!!  I've made 14... thought I was doing good - looked up and 3.5 hours had passed!!! LOL

They are quite addicting!

I took a pic and uploaded on flickr.  I'd love some feedback as these are the first - good, bad, ugly, indifferent... let me know what you think please!

It's when you raised a closed fist to the sky and curse the winds.  (Okay that may be a little over the top).

(BTW - I'm totally not making any statement of any kind with this photo, it was the first I found to demonstrate)
