I was to swap with Rhondas but due some extreme health isuse on her end ( really hoping she is pulling through ok) she was unable to send a package.

Phildude and her lovey Stevil were my awesomest angels, together they spoiled me.

firstly.....
customs decided they wanted some tea cause they were obviously thristy...so they kept my homemade chia blend ..they did offer to send it back to you for a small fee.....
.....of only $42....they then told me is will be distroyed instead.....can't make up there minds.

here is the awesomeness

a felt goddess stuffie( whom now lives with dragon in his cave on my altar, she thought he looked lonely and his wizard friends was not doing a very good job of keeping him under control)
a Triskele spiral pin cushion, I thought the pins were part of the cool design
Japanese cypress incense sticks.
the most awesome rune set with bag, they are river pebbles and so cool.

Stevil made me some broze jewellery, a celtic knot set, which I love so much.
earrings and a bracelet

I didn't get a picture of prawnie before he skipped off to hide amoungst the shells on my altar could you post an image of him for me?

If not I will catch him tomorrow and get one then.

Thanks again for an awesome package.

I know nobody asked, but thought I'd show off my very first Mabon altar. Very simple, basic. Hope you all don't mind.

It wasn't complete when I snapped the pics, it's just my basic altar plus some libations, and leaves. I didn't get the candles out yet....

Details of swap:

Make crafted items that are pagan, wiccan, or witchcraft related or something halloween related or just plain great that your partner can appreciate and enjoy. Suggestions would include altar or spellcasting items such as candles, bowls, oil blends, etc. - as well as altar cloths, statues, jewelry, decorations, stationary, or more - look at previous galleries of similar swaps for ideas if you need them!  Be creative!

A Samhain/Halloween theme would be fun!
But is not required

Please consider your partner's interests and requests when crafting, and feel free to contact your organizer with questions or worries! If you have any doubts about your partners interests, please ask them to clarify to make sure they will be receiving something they can use and enjoy.

This round we will be crafting a Samhain/Halloween Package for our partner that has a large, a medium and two smalls items. You can increase that if both partners are willing to do more (or if you just want to spoil your partner!) AND if you are able to send on time - but we must stay on schedule this round in order to get the next round started on time!

Communication is vital to a positive swap experience!

PLEASE PUT WWP SWAP 15 IN ALL PM SUBJECTS

Please post at least once a week in the thread so everyone knows that we are all still working steadily towards completion of our projects. I will be keeping track on my spreadsheets - simply post a note in the thread to let us know you are still working and progressing towards completion of your items!

Feedback will reflect communications with organizers and on the thread so remember this as an important aspect of this swap!

Lack of communication without cause can result in your removal from this swap and/or negative feedback.

If you want to participate, send this questionnaire to RondaS. On this and all subsequent communication with organizers, please put WWP Swap 15 in the subject line:

Cute? I couldn't tell from his facebook photo. For some reason they keep telling me to add your son as my friend... but I won't. Cuz what am I gonna say - Still scared of them boobies? Tongue

Ok. So boob story - don't worry, I promise there are no actual flesh and blood boobs in this story.

Hedge and I met and were paired up during last year's WWP Samhain swap. We got to talking and as you can tell by our constant badgering of each other, we became friends. When we were plotting our packages, we decided to make things for each other's family members as well. So we talked about what our husbands enjoyed, I told her what my cat is into since I don't have kids and when I asked if there was anything her son wanted she replied....

BOOBS!

How could I resist the challenge of crafting a pair of cans for a teenage boy?? I couldn't. So I got out my flesh toned yarn and crochet hook and went to town. When she got her package she was cackling (oh trust me, this woman cackles...) and waited until her poor son came home from school to give him his prize and when she did he turned purple and RAN AWAY!

Thought the kid said he liked boobs?

They were nice looking too...

SEE? Wink

That's awesome Phizzy! I dream of going to Morocco sometime...they have such beautiful cultural art and craftsmanship.  Smiley

Here's one we snapped after I had finished part of it before the summer. Unfortunately, it doesn't have my lanterns in it, and the DH made the pic more of me and less of the decorating, gah. (Theres a big stained glass and iron Moroccan lantern above my head ) But it made a nice profile pic for myspace anyway. Tongue I'll get the lanterns in the pic next time.

I had a severe meltdown with my sewing machine today.  Apparently it wasn't fixed like we had thought.  It turned several of my projects into abstract art with all the goofy bunching and throwing wads of thread everywhere like a spider on crack.  *sigh*  I am almost finished tho.  I still need to go to the store for a few non craft items like yummies and stuff but for the most part, the crafting portion is finished.  Here's a teaser!

I will try to get it shipped out this week, depending on when I can get to the store.  I live in the middle of nowhere and only get the car on the weekends, so that makes it kinda hard for me to do the post office trip at a reasonable hour.

I'm quite sure I shall love it! Grin I have yours bundled up and ready to go on Monday. I hope yours makes it undamaged too, I used lots of bubble wrap! There's the obvious things for you and some knick-nacks for your daughter. I forgot to write a note for inside... Roll Eyes

Here ya go, it's a simple one. I've been doodling these stars on me/bloke/everywhere with biro for so long, so now I have some permanent ones! The star closest to the moon is for me, next is for Mike and the other side is for Amelie. If my sis has more kids they'll get added in the middle. They're intentionally imperfect, because really, where's the fun in perfection? Wink
