I received from Smmarrt on Monday... and here it is Friday and I haven't put up pics yet!   Undecided  So here they are... Smmarrt absolutely spoiled me with all these extras!  Everything is so well crafted and awesome, she is amazing! The pictures dont really do the items justice, it's been so rainy here I was forced to take crappy pictures inside with teh flash instead of outside in the light like I usually do.

first up are the postcards/notecards and birdie stickers

the first main item... this absolutely adorable stuffie!!!  The fabrics are so cool and they go very well together, this lil guys is so cute!!!

i like the loooong legs:

some more extras... craft/cookie cutters in bunny and bird shapes!

she used her own set of cutters to make these clay bird ornaments/pendants and she sent me a bag of wooden bird and egg shapes as well!

love the chicken stamped notepad.... she stamped every page!

but the main event is this gorgeous, beautiful, wonderful apron!

it is so well made! the tie is made of this wonderful batik print fabric, and the bird fabric is almost like a vinyl texture... seems easy to wipe clean. it is a craft apron, i will use it to hold my scissors and things but it will never see glue or anything messy!!  Tongue

all my goodies together!

this swap was amazing, thank you so much Smmarrt for spoiling me, I hope you liked your package as much as I loved mine!!!!

Those branches are lovely and I love the necklace.  littlepooky has sent me the best package ever, and I promised pics tonight, but I had to take them inside and they are just not doing everything justice, but I think I'll post them anyway because people need to see her amazing work.  I'll be back after uploading my pics.
O.K. I'm back with an overwhelming number of pictures for a small swap because littlepooky and I decided to make this a slightly (ha) larger swap.
I've coveted littlepooky's work ever since I saw what she made for the coraline swap, and I've really become quite a fan of everything I have seen that she has done.

On with the pics:
First some adorable bookplates.

Then a wonderfully decorated tray with the bookplates inside (the color looks truer here).

She put those birds on her note to me as well and I think they are just completely charming Smiley
Then a bird pincushion and a birdhouse windchime

And a beautifully decorated box

and totally inspired by two things on my wists a wall organizer with an image inspired by a felted bear on my wists (I was in love with the bear before https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=239274.0
and even more in love with littlepooky's version) and she says she is not a seamstress but this wall organizer is spectacular.

and a pouch with a bird and a doxie (just like my Dora Smiley )

and this isn't really bird related, but she made me a memo bird with images of my two boys and really terrific bottlecap pushpins!!

littlepooky has been the very best swap partner ever!!!

Oh my gosh, this gallery is amazing.

I love soooo many things! The Snow White Tote bag is so cute. The Be Good Kitty Cat & Bird. I love the bird on shrinky dink. The crow stamped on the music page. The magnets are so pretty. The birds on tile necklaces. The owl pillow. Watercolour birdcage. Birdhouse frame. Display case, so cute.

Everythings is really awesome.

Here's what I got in the mail from prettyinpaisley.

An adorable book purse/tote. I love the color of the book and the fabric.

I love, love this little box. She made it from the illustrations in the book. Inside where some cards wrapped in ribbon.

She made the cards from the illustrations also. They are too cute to use. I'm going to figure out a way to frame them all.

A little bird nest that is sitting on a shelf in my craftroom. A checkbook cover and a wallet with id slots.

Extra bits. The gold is hummingbird stickers but I couldn't get them with the flash.

Thanks so much prettyinpaisley. I love this packge and the letter you sent.

Thanks guys!!! I am glad you all like it. Smiley

I just received my lovely package and I am sooo thrilled! I love it all so much! Teachingjonah nailed my personality and did an awesome job.  Cheesy

For a little background, I am kind of a dork and I still love plushies at 23 years old! In particular, I LOOOOOVVVEEE ami's. And then I am pretty much a little goth girl at heart...but a perky one I guess! lol...is that possible, to be a perky goth?! I just really love Halloween and the occult, especially if it is cute. And tj did just that with all my stuff! She personalized it all and made what I love. She even drew a little spider web on my note. So cute! On to the pics!

First, all my stuff was wrapped in this lovely fabric. It is mainly purple and orange, which is my favorite color scheme, and it looks very Halloween-ish. Can't wait to make something out of it!

Then she made this cute little owl painting for me, which I love! So cute! I just love owls, and she put it in purple, my favorite color ever. It will look great for Halloween, and just for my room period!

I adore penguins; they are probably my favorite animal. She made this for me and I just looooovvvveee him! He is too cute for words! And once again, she put him in my favorite colors for his scarf!

And then I got another little owl, but this one is in ami form!! I think he might be my favorite item from the swap. (I love it all so it is hard to choose!) He is adorable! I just started redecorating a little vintage birdcage and he is going to be perfect for it!

The rest of the stuff is not bird related but I want to post it anyway! We did some personal swapping on the side, so I just have to show it off because I love it! I will put the smaller links so it doesn't take up so much room. Smiley

First off, perhaps the cutest zombie in the world! I am in love with him.

This just amazes me! I posted a piece I did of little cryptozoology creatures I drew and watercolored earlier this month. It was all collaged onto a big photo mat, and she took my favorite one and crocheted him! So amazing and so personalized! I am thrilled to death with it! She did such a good job too! I put my original drawing next to it for reference.

And finally, she made me a poppet of myself! I am in a personal swap with the talented Sugarysweet, and she made me a poppet that looks like a little me, just like Coraline has a "little me." I told my mom, and she loved the idea and wanted one for herself. (We are incredibly close so she liked the idea). So Teachingjonah made one for me to give my mom. She did an awesome job and I can't wait to give it to my mother! What do you all think...does she look like me or what?!  Grin

Thank you so much teachingjonah!! I love it all!! Can't wait to see everybody else's stuff!

I received from SonjaBoo today and WOW, it is the most gorgeous package EVER.  It was wrapped in pretty colored tissue paper, and I just kept umwrapping one awesome thing after another. Cheesy  First was this handpainted frame:

Could it be any cuter?  I LOVE LOVE LOVE lime green & black together.  Then a handbound journal:

the cover is shiny, sorry for the flash.  I am hosting a craft fair in November, and Erika gave me the idea to use this as a sign in book and I could cry that is such a perfect idea. Wink  Cheesy

Next, some notecards, bird tags and a felted nest pin:

My camera takes horrible close-ups, that nest pin deserves a closeup, it is just too cute.

Still, there was MORE!:

Cute penguin, dove & a rooster buttons & a steampunky necklace with jingle jangles, reversible so that one side is a Malaysian bird postage stamp and the other side is a cute little bird scene.  Again, deserves a close-up, awesome.

And in pm'ing back and forth she mentioned her husband did black & white photography.  I said I wouldn't mind a picture.  Thses right here are the piece de resistance, they are AMAZING.  And she even handwrote where they were taken on the back.  They are to be used as notecards, they come with envelopes, but I couldn't bear to give them away.  I am totally finding frames and hanging each and every one.  Less blabbing, more photos:

and

and if I was to pick a favorite group, these right here:

I want to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, this has been the best swap EVER!!! Cheesy  And if you have any better pictures, please post.  SonjaBoo you totally rock!!!  \../

And there was MORE..Cheesy Look at the gorgeous and intricate earrings she made. I dote on them, they are so well made.

Then there were these adorable thrifted owlies! Cheesy

A very well-made lill note book full of recycled papers! No extra harm done to trees, I like that Smiley

Thanks SOOOO much Sally, I love every bit of it and you're an amazing Swap partner! I love the individual touches, like the portrait and the swallow theme Kiss Kiss

I just received from noooitaremybirthday, and I love everything! She did a fantastic job, and pegged my taste perfectly. Onto the pictures:

Here are all the goodies together. A pair of arm warmers/fingerless gloves with a sweet embroidered bird applique, a little crow atc, shrinky dink necklace, and a handcarved birdie stamp in a little origami box!

Necklace. Aren't the charms just the sweetest thing? I'm so wearing this to class on monday!

Great little atc! Its my first atc ever, and i serendipitously bought an entire box of frames for .50 at a garage sale today, and one is the perfect size!

Can you believe this stamp? It's so tiny and perfect, and I've wanted my own handcarved stamp for ages! Noo, did you do this by hand?

And finally, the AMAZING and comfy fingerless gloves! I absolutely love them, and can't wait til it gets cold. I'm kind of a glove fiend, but I love to ride my bike everywhere and gloves+bicycle are trouble. These are the perfect solution!  The hand part is a bit big though, any idea if i can shrink them?

Action shot!

Thanks so much, noooitaremybirthday! You totally made my weekend.

I received from knickertwist and I'm all a twitter! This has been one of my favorite swaps ever! I love every single thing she gave me! Here's the loot:
Group shot

I am overwhelmed by all of the goodies in the package. Each one came wrapped in white tissue paper with a piece of twine that said birdie things. Like "tweet", "sing", "whistle," etc. You get the idea.
You can see here that she gave me a little notebook, and a birdie with a lovely curly tail, which will look perfect on my Christmas tree. And then there was the other treasures. Here they are.

I took individual shots too.

First is this art deco style dove. I think it's made of paper clay, but it looks like alabaster. It's so sweet.

In the background, you can see the great bird toille fabric, and the jar of whimsies. I've been so fascinated with this little thing. Every time I turn it, I see something new.

This is a horrid picture, but it's a broach with a beautiful Robin's egg nest with birdie charms hanging from it. I'm thinking about what I want to wear it with.

One of knickertwist's signature pieces. I love this to pieces. It's why I asked her to be my partner.

She crafted this straight from my wists. I walked all around the house looking for the perfect place to put it.

And this little birdhouse is so sweet! It fits in with my house perfectly. I love shabby chic!

My pictures are horrid, because they're from my phone, and do not do her work justice. I am pleased as punch.

I have recieved from Becs88!!

Everything all together! Look at the beautiful sparkly branches, and the lovely clay necklaces.

This was the first thing I saw when I opened the package. It's a gorgeous, jewel and pearl encrusted, tree branch, to hang from my car mirror. I've just got a new car, and it's not very "me" yet, so this is amazing! So pretty and girly and... just perfect! Becs, I have no idea how on earth you made this, but thank you so much!

It came with a matching phone charm too! So cute!

Next... a very ugly photo of me wearing a very lovely necklace. This gorgeous little guy is varnished white clay, and sits so nicely on my neck... it's really beautiful!

And finally, I think this one is my favourite, a gorgeous, varnished white clay tile with a sparrow on (stamped or painted I think). I'm wearing it at work today and every single person at work has complimented me on it (and they're very dissapointed that they can't go out and buy one... its mine, all mine!!!)

Thankyou Becs, you're an amazing swap partner, and have gone over and above anything I could have hoped for!
(And to everyone else... aren't I the luckiest one? You're allowed to be very jealous!)

Here are my FAB items from carrieme!  SO in love with all this!

Sorry these are a bit blurry...we have a big storm rolling through and it stole ALL my natural light, so my camera is trying to compensate and make things brighter.  Lunch tote, Birdie Sling (and pattern!!! Not pictured), owl stuffie, and necklace/earrings set.  LOVE the birdie sling!!!  Now that I have the pattern I can make several more as Xmas gifts this year Smiley  You have NO idea how much that pattern is going to help me out!!

Owlie, owlie, owl-n-free!!  LOVE this!  I think my cats may try to steal this from me...

Jewelry set.  What's funny is I bought this SAME pendant and was going to make it into something for you on this swap too!  LOL!  Good thing I went another direction, it would be too wierd having us both make jewelry out of the same pendant Smiley

Lunchbox!!  Lined with vinyl so it's wipable when spills happen Smiley  LOVE this fabric!!

THANK YOU!!!!  I really am thrilled with it all, hope you enjoy my goodies just as much Smiley  Teaser....Don't be deceived by the mini-packaging...

And you're sort of right, because it's a reversible bag and I flipped over the fabric on the reversed side, it's perfect!

This is the cute little pocket on the inside of the tote Smiley

And then, she had never knitted before but decided to give it a try and made me this beautiful scarf (did you all know I love knitted things?)

I received from Laela this morning. She sent me a wonderful package. You can tell she put a lot of thought into it. Thank you, Laela!

First up, a wonderful painting. I believe it's acrylic.

Three headbands. She handpainted birds on each one. I'm currently wearing the one with the birdcage.
I love headbands and wear them all the time. I love these ones because they are tight enough that they don't fall off.

Next, she made me an awesome necklace with feather beads.

And lastly, she sent along a wool toy for my pooch. He doesn't play with toys a lot but sometimes we catch him going wild with a toy. It's for like 5 second intervals once a week. We rescued him so he has a lot of weird quirks! She also gave me 8 foam birds. I love them and I hope I find something really awesome to use them for.

And a pic of my favourite bird!

I love everything. Thanks, Laela.
I Really enjoyed this swap because Laela and I have such different tastes. This swap really made me think and I think it made me make items that were really fit to Laela's tastes.

Thanks Craftewoman for organizing.

Here's my loot (finally!) from nat_attack. It was beautifully wrapped in light pink tissue paper, but I was too impatient to photograph it!

A lovely, tiny felted bird's nest fridge magnet.

An oversized postcard that says "Free as a Bird".

The first of three bird paintings on cardboard - a wren.

Painting #2 - This one is the zebra finch?

And last but not least, Painting #3, and wren #2:

I don't know yet where these paintings will live. I may mat and frame them and hang them in my bedroom....But I have to finish painting the walls first.

Thanks Natalie.
