What a better excuse to make a cute little case than a friend’s birthday?  Well I had this excuse this week. I wanted to make a nice and reusable “wrapping” for a birthday gift.
For this project I used cotton canvas, cotton, zipper, inerfacing and crystal and Japanese glad beads. My goal was making a girly little case (but for a grown up). To give the very slick and simple case design a little humph, I added a nice colorful beading to the zipper head and also a hand painted Russian doll patch (the IT thing to have this days. Yeap I am hooked on Kawaii and Harajuku). The paisley purple linen is interfaced to keep the shape. I hope you like it! My friend did  Wink
