Warning!! I went picture happy as I am ecstatic!

The whole package from audio-astrophysics right where I opened them.

I love it! Cheesy Grin  Hubs actually chuckled and said,"She really knows you!" Kiss

Just the bag

Close up of my Carassius-nauts/goldfish-nauts

Beautiful Art Noveau lining, love it!

We decided to include more than one extra.

Wait one of the shrinky charms is missing......

I might have to make a necklace of it for my new orange alien & friend

Love the sweater....Space is cold.

They wanted to pose in front of our aquarium, just to show you how perfect the bag's theme was!
Yes, that is a satellite in my fish tank Grin

I got my package yesterday from ineedart and I am so wowed!

She has the teensiest perfect stitches.

The birds are Charley Harper inspired, one of my favorite artists.

Sorry about the hair!(Its only been in my house 24 hours and its already covered in dog hair. I don't know how my dog is not bald yet!)

The Back

The interior, with awesome quilted key fob and place to hook it.

Lots of interior pockets.

And totally sweet bookmark.

My son is already carrying this around always! Speaking of him, he's getting into something so I better run.
(Oh yeah, he fell of the couch and hit the coffee table. Yikes)

I received from sazzra and she spoiled me rotten. Literally!

Here is the whole loot

in the upper left you can see the nice paper everything was wrapped in.

First the "Night of the living dead" bag. I wanted one to fold up to carry around in my purse and she made me one with a matching little purse to put in. The colour is awesome and look at all the tiny stitching.

Here is closer shot. You can see the quote Saying "They're coming to get you, Barbara" from the movie. It is made with some kind of transfer stuff I assume. And it is one of the two only movie quotes that I mangaged to memorize in my life.

and here is its purse with a very cool zombie hand on it. See all the smooth stitches on the seams? They're handmade! I admire your stitching skills!

then there was a draw string water bottle bag with a zombie and a thought balloon and a brain it that. At the top of the bag you can see a tiny little bit of the silver, insultating lining peeking out. What a great idea!

a little kitty extra: a felt zombie filled with catnip. This is way to cute to let it be ripped apart by those catmonsters and I will use it as a pincushion. It has all that detailed stitching on it. Love the colour contrast of the red and green.

she also added a cicada draw string bag "to sing me to sleep". Look at all the details on the head and the tail and the neat bead stitching! I love it!

at last there was an towel with an zombie illustration (sorry for the bad photo. Could not get a better one. I am not quite shure what she used for it. Some kind of shiny colour, looks a bit like plastic. It is a zombie dreaming of a cupcake. See even the brainers cannot get enough of it. It is "for making cupcakes and washing up afterwards". Sweetens up this nasty part of the baking, doesn't it?!

Thank you sazzra for this zombtastic package! Everything is so nicely made and so detailed. Kudos to you!

P.S. All the bags are lined of course!

I had a bit of a crisis right before send-outs, and then was very ill for a few weeks.... making my progress on this swap very, very slow, and my send-outs very delayed.  My partner, pinkmichk, is so sweet, so understanding, and I want to thank her (and our organizer!) for being so incredibly patient with me.  She just received her package from me, and asked me to post photos... so here they are..... finally! Smiley

Pinkmichk asked for a shopping tote, so I made a large, sturdy bag with no closure:

A pin-up cashier!

The lining is some hand-dyed cotton:

back:

My silly daughter modeling (for size reference):

I also sent some extra grocery totes:

Thank you, again, pinkmichk, for being so great!  I really, really appreciate you. Smiley

I received my tote from hotgluegert.  What a great job.  I love the size now I am worried that mine is not long enough. I love the embroidery motif and she nailed me with the colors.  The inside fabric is gorgeous.  I can see myself using this often as in every day. I also love my extra!!!!!!!

Here is my tote. I love the size and motif that was used.

A close up of her handiwork!

The inside fabric.  I love it!!!

This cute little pincushion. I wish this would have photographed better.  It is chocolate brown and purple. The antennas are made from a bobbie pin with glitter paint on them I believe .

He is happy to be in his new home.  See the big smile and bright blue eyes.

You can see Jimmie better in this photo.  Thanks for a wonder swap.

I received my lovely package on Friday, sorry I am late posting, from Sillybowtie aka Nikki. First let me say I have been having some issues lately and Nikki's package could not of come at a better time. As soon as I checked my mail I quickly feed the kids then quietly went to my room and opened my package. The first thing I saw was the purple flower and it was so well done  that I actually thought for a moment that she had machine embroidered it, then as I looked over the rest of the embroidery I realized that Nikki just embroiders that well. The stitches are all perfect. The bag itself is light green with a bright purple/pink flowers and is really bright and beautiful and there are two large pockets inside. She also included a second bag to fit inside that matches and on it there is a knitted flower that I love because it is pretty and I can't knit so I am happy that she included it. Anyway, here are the pictures. Sorry I though I was getting a new camera for Mother's day but instead got a serger so I can't really complain too much.

Thanks Nikki!

You are going to love this, I do! This is an awesome tote - great colors, love the fabric and the Asian theme is just perfect. I was going to use this tote for crochet or embroidery WIPs, but now may use it for acupuncture supplies when I go on house calls!

I'll apologize for my photography skills now. Here's the whole bag. It stands up on its own, mamarose must have interfaced it. Nice and sturdy.

And a closeup of the embroidered outside pocket. I love the faces.

And a pic of the inside, complete with inner pocket.

And my hook roll - I love it. I'm going to get a set of stainless steel hooks for doily making, this roll will be perfect for those. I love how she got the ladies hair to match up on the flap!

And the hook roll in use:

Aren't they great?! Thanks mamarose22, you've outdone yourself again. And I just realized that the fabric you used matches my acupuncture supply case!

I hope that you like the tote I made you as much as I like this one. I think I feel a case of swap anxiety coming on....

So, I've been a bad partner. I've had my stuff for a week almost now, and haven't posted anything about it. I guess I just wanted to keep it all to myself since it's so freaking awesome. Here we go!

Bioformcallie made me a backpack. Yes, I said a backpack.

Here's the back

And here's a better look at Eileen's great stitching.

I really love this bag. I had to empty it out to take the pictures because I've been using it to carry all my craft stuff. I'm just blown away by how much work went into this bag. And then there's even a small.

This is an awesome lunch bag. It's hand knit and felted. It's too pretty to take to the factory, so I'll have to save it until I'm back in school.

I'm guessing that will hold plenty of lunch.

Thank you so much Eileen! I love everything so much.

I received from arimethia today! And WOW!!!! It is just wonderful and perfect and amazing....check it out!

I love the pattern, and the embroidery is most amazing! It is seriously perfect....that is a lot of fill stitching! Between arimethia and my partner thirdmargaret from the tea towel swap, I am inspired to try fill stitching, although I don't think it'll look anywhere near this nice. Thanks, Erin! I love the bag, the fabric, the embroidery! I can't wait to use it!!!

As promised, pictures of the goodies Glamis sent me:

The bag itself

Totally getting my Matryoshka obsession, yet in a kitty way!

closer view

And inside (as well as a cute pen I forgot to take pics of  Embarrassed)

What's inside the sugar skull, you may ask?

Why, of course, it's a

Sewing kit! Yay!

I couldn't get a good pic of the inside, but it's a gorgeous blue with 3 pockets (a phone one, a snap fastened one holding the sewing kit and a big zipped one) AND 3 pen loops!

I have major swap anxiety now, as I love this so much Undecided

Group shot: a flamingo (my fav animal!) tote bag with a fun trim, embroidered pouch for office supplies, and some extra goodies (stickers, post-it notes, and pens).  I'm going to be a teacher so I thrive on that kind of stuff, LOL.

Front and back of the pouch:

I received from goldsheepbowl, and I absolutely love everything! Goldsheepbowl came up with an awesome design for my bag, after thinking long and hard.

Here's the photos!

The bag, and the embroidery! The embroidered design is great, I like "creepy cute" things, so that's part of the reason she has no eyes. I can understand that- I hate stitching eyes, they always come out looking funny and a bit evil- so this is a perfect solution, and one I'm going to use next time Smiley

Close up of the emboidery. I love the hair- it must have taken ages! The design with the flowers is really pretty, too.

The bag of the tote. Goldsheepbowl hand-painted the centre panel herself- super clever, something I've never thought to try. It has little sections of silver glitter running through it.

The fabric is Henry Alexander, who I love- I actually used a different Alexander Henry print on the tote I made goldsheepbowl.

Finally, the extras- a Tree of Life pendant, which is going straight on a leather thong (and, wow, that sounds completely different to how I mean it!) when I get home, and some adorable buttons-- I'm already keen to use the buttons, so I'm planning what to make that will incorporate them.

Thank you so much, goldsheepbowl! I love everything- you were a fantastic swap partner Cheesy
