Yay!  My package arrived last night and I got some photos during the one sunny moment of the day.  Smiley  (It's one of those gray wet "stay on the couch with a good book" kind of Northwest days)

Lady4feet sent me an incredible OTT!  She riffed not only on my themes but a previous swap item - my One Tiny House.  She made an adorable little cat bed, and a white cat like my dear departed Cirrus! (The kitty in my avatar) And she made the bed big enough so that the cat that came with the tiny house could fit, too. (That cat looks like my current real cat, Phoebe).

Here are the two of them in the cat bed:

In the bed in the house:

Here's the bed pieces:

Look at his cute little face! (and the wonderful card that came with - did you make that, lady?!)

And his cute little tail:

Uh oh!  Guess who got up on the couch in the little house?!  Get the lint brush! Gray and white cat hair everywhere!  Smiley  (story of my life!)

Thanks, lady4feet!  It's so sweet and I just love it.  It's a perfect fit, and now I have a tiny Cirrus to go with my tiny Phoebe!  (sniff! good sniff, though, sentimental sniff sniff.)   Wink

(by the way, here's a link to the Tiny House I got, that this goes in:  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=288052.msg3320253#msg3320253

Yay, I got my TT from anastrophe today Cheesy  She used my Firefly theme and made me an Inara-inspired tea wallet:

She said the material came from a thrift shop skirt and that this was the first time she made something with piping.  I think it looks totally awesome. Cheesy Also, she sewed it on a treadle sewing machine; no electricity required!  That's sew cool!  Wink I can hardly wait to show it off to my family and friends; Thank you so much, anastrophe!

And since she hasn't had a chance to post yet, here's what I made for her that she received over the weekend:

I used her flower and black themes and make a jar with a hidden compartment inside to hide your treasures.  She described herself as a "recovering blackaholic" in one of her PMs so I included some blueish/redish/purpleish flowers to give a little variety.  The design I painted on the lid of the jar is based on patterns from medieval blackwork embroidery.  I originally wanted to paint it to look like embroidered stitches but I couldn't get it too look right, so I just went with plain lines.  There is a big leaf glued to the bottom of the tube so you can't see it if you look in from the bottom, and a few flower petals glued to the top of the tube to keep the other flowers from popping up out of the jar when the lid is off. Cheesy

looking inside:

the lid in progress with the images that inspired the design:

the little copper ring I used to keep the note rolled up nice and neat inside  Cheesy

I can't believe I forgot to take a picture of the closed jar with the finished lid;  I must have just been too anxious to get it in the mail :p

Oh, wow am so amazed by my swap package I received today from RhymeswOrange, wow, absolutely unbelievable.  She picked my theme of Sesame Street, and I am so impressed.

She made me the most fantastic wallet:

Front (I <3 Bert):

Back (I <3 Ernie):

And the inside (C is for Cookie Monster!):

My favorite parts, the detachable cookie and the Cookie Monster change compartment (the change is in his stomach, poor Cookie, only suppose to be eating cookies!):

A quarter!

Am so absolutely amazed and in love with this project.  Now I have to work extra hard to make RhymeswOrange's package extra special!  Will be mailing soon!  Am so excited and in love with my swap package, so amazing!

Wahoo!  Wallet!  Pics came out really great Smiley  I am going to repost one of the photos here in craftster photo hosting, so I can list it as one of my fave 12 projects Smiley

YAY!  This was the 2nd time I ever embellished ANYTHING with beads, and am VERY happy with how it came out.  I initially made a needlebook, but found it to be 5x3 inches when I was done  Undecided  DAMN!  And, it was cool designs, but on a pink background...and I seem to remember you not liking pink that much, syri  Tongue

And now....here is my OTT from syri!  Using my owls theme.  LOVE this little needlebook!  SO adorable!  Now I really AM glad I didn't send you a needlebook too, LOL!

The 'feathers' are felt pieces to keep needles in and they tuck back under the fabric wings.

Stunning detail on the embroidery!  LOVE it!

Thank you so much, syri!

O. M. G.

I am blown away by my OTT. Moek, you are wonderful.
Look at this wallet! The fabric is perfectly me! And I adore the charms- a pearl for my name and a crown from my fairy tale theme.

The button has bitty rhinestones in it (LOVE!) and Moek hand stitched the buttonhole!

All of the pockets are lined,

And on the back of the mirror, this beautiful embroidery. Oh, I love it so, so much!

When I was making my item, I thought of the name of the swap as "One Tiny Treasure" because I wanted my creation to be really cool. But I think I'm the one who got a treasure in the end! Thank you so much, Moek!

I received my OTT from Pearliepie today and let's just say that i just spent some time at a baby name website to come up with a perfect name because he deserves nothing less than perfect.

and I present to you.....

E L L I S     T H E     E L E P H A N T

I was amazed beyond belief, and then when i thought he couldn't be more perfect i found out that he's posable!!!
(here he is waiting patiently for his turn to be center stage)

Ellis gets along marvelously with my juggling balls  Wink

He's got incredible balance, and he likes to show it off  Roll Eyes

Pearliepie managed to choose the theme i was hoping she'd choose (circus), AND she didn't even know that i love elephants! Since i'm not in the place i'd call 'home', it's so nice to have a little buddy to keep me company  Cheesy not to mention that i can marvel at the craftsmanship and be reminded of the circus everyday!

i know this might be an overload of pictures, but this one really shows the details of the rug well, behold the incredible details!

I had a little bit of a photoshoot with him  Cheesy. Can you tell that i love Ellis to bits!?

Thank you so much Pearliepie! honestly i've been super happy all day and posing him in various places (on my laptop, beside my desk light, by my jewelry, right now he's on my sewing machine) but soon i'm gonna move him right beside my alarm clock so i can see him when i wake up  Grin

*happy*

omg you guys!  i got my OTT from gamemom42 today and holy moly! i LOVE it.  seriously.  not kidding.

she chose my theme of stars...

it's a JAR OF STARS!!  mostly filled with origami stars (which by the way i just recently learned to make and i love them!) and there are also some other stars... a couple of cross stitched ones and some cute felt ones with things like beads, sequins, etc.  look at how cool this thing is...

from the front:

from the back:

a close up, i think the red star with the yellow heart and the blue beads is my favorite!!

and here is a picture with some scissors, to give you a good idea of the size.

i did my best in this horribly lighted apartment to get good pictures and this was the best i could do, but i promise the colors are more vibrant in real life.

i think i will take this to work to brighten up my desk!

thank you so much gamemom42!  you had nothing to worry about all that time!!   Grin

I received from Perlabella today!

It. is. awesome!

There's a little knitted box in pretty bold colors (I'm guessing this was my "India" theme and my "Orange" theme)

But wait! What's this in the box?

AAHHH!!! It's a knitted (I think - maybe crocheted? pretty sure it's knitted) Pass-the-Pigs game!! This was my "Pigs" theme.

For those of you who don't know Pass-The-Pigs, first, what's wrong with you?!?! (Kidding Wink) And second - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pass_the_Pigs

And you can play online here: http://www.passthepigs.com/

This position is called "Piggyback" in the current version, the original game was released in 1977, and my grandmother had a early version (maybe early 80s?) where this position was called "Makin' Bacon". Rolling "Piggyback" or "Makin' Bacon" throws you out of the game.

HOW FUN!!! Grin and THREE themes!

I received from Mrs.LindsayLoo!

Yesterday I went to my little apartment mailbox to find a crumpled envelope that said "Fragile" and "Handle with Care" I was concerned, but my OTT arrived intact!

She made me a beautiful, reversible crochet and sewn wrist cuff:

From my candy and sweets theme: (note the handmade button)

It is very clever. The fabric portion is sort of embedded in the crochet part. I am trying to figure out how she did it.

Thank you Mrs.LindsayLoo! I love it!

Okay, so I have pictures now!  Angeltreats picked my AlphaNumeric theme.  My daughter will be two at the end of next month, and we're learning letters and numbers right now.  (She's really good at spotting O's right now, but not much else.  LOL)

So I got my package from angel, and I found this lovely little green pouch!  (Super cute button too!)

When I pulled the contents out, this is what I saw:

And I got very excited:  Lookit all the gorgeous drawings!  (I can't draw at all, so I'm very impressed.)

I'm so very happy!  I might actually wait a month to give them to my daughter, and bring them out for her birthday.  They're so fun!  I think the fat little piggie is probably my favorite drawing.... though I'm having trouble deciding for certain.

Thank you so much, angel!!!

Apologies for the crazy delay in posting pictures, but here is the lovely journal rosiegarden sent me for my poetry theme:

Look at that awesome binding!

With my favorite pen for scale.

Open on top of a book of poems.

It worked out perfectly; I've been meaning to buy a little journal for poems to fit in my bag for ages and just never go around to it. [plug] Also if you're a poet, or know any, check out http://quintessentialverse.blogspot.com/ [/plug]

And finally here is a shot of the inside of the Hungry catapiller coin purse; I have some of the outside as well, but they are pretty much the same as what has already posted:

For being super adorable it is really difficult to photograph.

Now to go catch up on the rest of the gallery!

I received my tiny thing from Jenicat today!!! AND IT IS AWESOME! She chose my theme of pomegranates and made me the sweetest little brooch ever! SERIOUSLY LOOK AT THIS THING!

On its own, I knew what it was as soon as I took it out of the envelope. I love how the beads catch the light, it really shows off the ruby red color.

On my jacket (that I can finally wear again because it's not so frigid out!). It fits my personality so well, Jenicat did an excellent job on this!

Just to prove how pomegranate-obsessed I am, here's a drawing I did a couple months ago:

Thank you, Jenicat!!!
