My partner, KCMonkey, is AMAZING!  This first time swapper used all 5 of my themes, made me laugh (and snort) out loud, and must have figured out that I'm a little ADD and like to change things up constantly.

First, I must show off the pretty wrapping paper:

She made me a wallhanging for some of my favorite quotes.  The quotes are interchangable!!  How cool is that?

Here are the quotes:

Join the dork side
talk nerdy to me
Billy was a chemist's son but Billy is no more.  What he thought was H2O was H2SO4
Note to self: not everything tastes like chicken

Crafting keeps the voices away
Fastest glue-gun slinger east of the Mississippi
I'm into mixed martial arts and crafts: kickin' ass and knittin' socks
Stitchy woman

That's what she said!
I am Legen...wait for it...Dary!
It's time for rock paper scissors lizard spock
It's not rocket surgery

This land is your land, this land is my land, sure, but the world is run by those that never listen to music anyway.  ~Bob Dylan
Take care of all your memories, for you cannot relive them.  ~Bob Dylan

She even put a storage pocket in the back!

Are you all jealous yet?

KCMonkey, thank you for  being the best swap partner EVER!

Oh boy, I got my OTT today!
It is just awesome and perfect. Here are some pics:

Cutely packaged:

Deck my terrarium kit:

Terrarium picks!

Somehow I missed a picture of the elephant with these.

My 2 hanging terrariums:

Terrarium #1:

mushroom, elephant and tree

Terrarium #2:

mushroom, flower, strawberry, pear

I love it - Thank you so much for making my first swap a great success.

PS I had this conversation with my husband:

DH: what are those?
me: terrarium decor, their shrinky dinks
DH: so do they grow?
me: no! they don't grow
DH: so what do they do?
me: nothing I just stick them into the terrarium
DH: so do they grow?

Cheesy I was trying not to laugh when he asked me for the second time if they grew!

Here's are the pictures of the darling cupcake and korknisse I received from yelutci (we agreed beforehand to having the korknisse be a sort of...extra, because it takes very little time to make...)

It combines my themes of rainbows and cupcakes  Smiley

a better shot of the bottom half of the cupcake, which has a nice ribbing detail to make it look like a real cupcake wrapper...

My adorable new korknisse, which combines my themes of rainbows and gnomes (so cute!)

and finally, the lovely postcard that came with my package, decorated with stickers.

Thank you so much for everything yelutci, I really love my new tiny things Smiley

Camelama outdid herself. She hit on my love of gerbils and Star Trek. Lots of pictures. Camelama you can post pictures also.

Here is the what it looked like when I opened:

Squealing with glee with all the tp rolls for the kids!!! and that little package in the middle. What could it be??

May I present Captain Buddy of the USS Gerbil Wheel......

Read the wonderful letter that came with it.....

I don't know how she found out that my real Buddy was one of our favorites. He was over 4 years old when he passed on. Pictures of the real Buddy: http://picasaweb.google.com/gerbilgal/Buddy

Eeeee!  I got my OTT today.
It's so cute!   Gerbilgal played on my theme of birds and blues and even threw in a little bit of pink (I'm grudgingly acknowledging, lately, that I kind of like pink, so she put some in!).

Here's my little Bluebird In A Bonnet, hanging out with my other Bluebirds! (note the birdfeeders in the background - yes, she definitely caught one of my favorite things!)

Here's a close up shot:

Here's one of the cute little feet:

And one - gasp - without the bonnet!  hee hee hee  (and it's looking out the window, so you can see the back)

Here is the Bluebird watching the Inauguration Parade with the other birds in the house (he took off his bonnet in case the Peregrine Falcon made fun of him):

Tried as best I could to get some good light, but we're socked in with fog today.  I can hear the foghorns going almost continuously out on the Sound.

(sorry about the white bordered pictures, something funky going on with my photo software and uploads to Craftster)

Thank you, Gerbilgal!!

Hee hee hee.  Yay, I'm glad you like it!  I had SO MUCH FUN making it, and all my friends kept asking for updates.  And the two trial run gerbils i made are very much in demand.  And I got requests to make a bunch for other friends (not selling, just making).

Here are some random photos:

Capt Buddy shirtless after having fought the Tribble, tricorder-ing for beaming up:

Another view of the set:

A closeup:

By the way, Buddy is actually an adaptation of a mouse pattern.  I tried to give him a more oomphier rump area, as my vetrinarian friend says that gerbils are jumping animals and are more bottom-heavy than mice.  Smiley  I changed the ears a bit, and gave the tail a gerbil end, and tweaked the head a bit to make the whole thing a bit more torpedo-shaped, rather than cutesy-mouse-shaped.   Wink

The pattern is here:

I received my package from flower yesterday and I love all my stuff!  On with the pictures!

I saw the package all decorated and I knew I was in for something good then.
And I was.

First there was this cute little decorated box.  When I saw it I laughed out loud!  The saying on the box is from Harry's Chocolate Shop. It's a Purdue thing.  Go Boilers!

Inside the box was a nice note and a monkey pin cushion ring and matching pins. A MONKEY PIN CUSHION!  She's adorable.  She even has eyebrows!  Although she may be too cute to stick pins in and I may just have to wear her around town!

Here's a picture of the ring in action.

This was first swap and I had so much fun, I am definitely do it again.  Thanks flower!

I received from crosswind today.  Are your wisting fingers ready?

A PURPLE PEACOCK needlebook!!!!!

Look at the incredible stitching - so gorgeous!

The last page of the needlebook even has a little pocket in it...I am going to put some of my stitch markers in it.

And an adorable little pincushion is attached to the ring as well.

I am SO spoiled!  Thank you so very much crosswind!  I absolutely love it, and you have made me so very happy.

I got my OTT from elvissatx! IT's a really great needle book, full with needles, pins, and safetypins. She used four of my themes: Chevy El Camino, Astronomy/Space/Solar System/Anything Up There, Purple and Gold, and Fabric Selvdges. The book is make with solky gold fabric on the outside, and silky purple with a gold pattern on the inside. She used purple felt for the needle holders, and the selvadges form the purple and gold fabric as ribbons to tie the book shut. On the from are two pictures, one of a gold Moon and the other of a purple Chevy El Camino.

I needed a needle book, I keep losing my needles, and everything about it screames ME, or AUDREY, literally!

THanks so much elvissatx!

So I FINALLY got down to the post office today with both my 9 month old and the 16 month old I nanny. Best swap package EVER from carrieme! Get ready to wist and drool!
What could these lovely little things be? Wasn't this a ONE tiny thing swap?

Oh, the little one is candy! Yum! (I ate this right away, a perfect treat after the drive home from the post office, someone actually ran me off the road! The candy made things much better.)

Now for this one awesome thing...

It's a tea wallet! It has four pockets to store tea bags and sugar packets. LOVE IT!

My partner knows me SO well. I'm a little aprehensive about what I made for her now, there's no way that she could love it as much as I love my tea wallet..... *biting nails*

Thank you, carrieme! I truly adore it! It will be really great to be able to bring my favorite tea to work with me!

I received my OTT from mamarose on Friday but due to 3 kids with the flu (TRIPLE YUCK!!), work, and everything else, I have not had the opportunity to post pics.  Until now!  (And before I start having symptoms of the flu.)

One of my themes was 'treasure' and mamarose22 made me the cutest little thing:

A Treasure Chest!!!  There is such great details on this little thing!  Little handles on each side, great color choices...

And even a lock and keys!

And what treasure chest is complete without some bling?  Or as I like to call it, my pirate's booty!!   Cheesy   Kiss

What are all of those sparkly treasures, you ask??? Why, dems be me jewels!  Arghhh!!!!  (sorry, I kind of ran with the pirate feel)
I don't know if she did this purposely or not, but the purplish/ eggplant color of the ring and bracelet also ties in with one of my other themes... "Eggplant"!!!  Partial action shots:

Thank You again mamarose22!  This was such a fun package to receive!  (My 4 year old has already tried sneaking it off of my crafting desk and into his room!)
