I don't really have any pics, myself, but some Google searching has turned up a couple of good ones.

The house where she lived, where the museum is now

Old Central School (You can see a little of the Yellow Brick Road in the Corner)

Signs

Better pic of the Yellow Brick Road

One of the murals

This might be the best photo.  The sign that is now outside the Judy Garland Museum.  It used to say the dates the slippers would be there, but now it says...

FINALLY posting photos from SacTownSue's Ozzy goodness she sent me. I'm sorry for taking so derned long, extra apologies go to my fantastic swap partner. Warning: you will be oh-so jealous (but in a good way!) Wink

The first thing I saw was this huge yellow satiny zippered bag, the details of which are astounding. SacTownSue is professional all the way, just look at the luscious red lining! Notice the type-written tags that accompanied each item, so creative (and yes, I happen to have a couple of pairs of ruby reds I can use this for).

Inside the 'yellow brick' was yet another bag, this one with an adorable blue-gingham lining and just the right size for makeup.

Inside of the red zippered pouch was my very own personal rainbow!

Also inside the red pouch was my most favorite of all gifts, a glass pendant with soldered edging. Not only did it have Dorothy on one side and Toto on the other, but it also says, "Dawt," my user name! As if that wasn't enough to make me pee myself from the excitement of that, the cord is adjustable, man, she thought of EVERYTHING!

My partner is also a comedian, look what she wrote about Dr. Oz, so funny! I loves me some sparkle, too!

All the loot together:

Thank you again, SacTownSue, for all the hard work and love you put into our swap. I will cherish my gifts, always!

Dorothy

OK, here are the pics. If I end up with a weird looking post, it's only because I am still new at posting pics.

Here are the ruby red slippers Mirchita crocheted for my daughter--on my daughter's feet. She loves them!

And here are the three wonderful jewelry items--ruby slipper earrings, a tin man cell phone charm, and a charm bracelet with emerald gems, a Toto dog, a slipper and other cute charms:

The next four pics are the adorable purse Mirchita made. It's reversable and it has a black side for the wicked witch and her catchphrase and a blue checkered side for Dorothy and her catchphrase. I LOVE it. I can choose which side I want to show, depending on if I'm in an evil mood or a nice mood. Heh!

I love all of it--you are so talented, Mirchita! Thank you!!

I think I have this figured out enough to finally post pictures of the goodies babalina58 sent.

First is a tin Wizard of Oz sign. I've always wanted one of these but was too frugal (cheap) to buy one.

Next, a Dorothy tote bag. I love tote bags and use them all the time. This will be a great addition.

A little tote with Wizard of Oz note cards. They're too cute to send to anyone. I want to frame them instead. Front and back of the tote:

The cards:

And I didn't see the jewelry at first because they were in a little bag tucked in with the cards. I love them.

And I can't believe I forgot to take pictures of one of my favorite things. Babalina58 sent me pre-cut quilt squares for a lap quilt. The fabrics are Glinda on a light background and her wand on a pink background. I took the fabric out to see if it matched a third fabric and forgot to take pictures. I'll post pics later.

Thanks, babalina58, for being a great partner. This is my first swap and I was nervous but now I see why you love swapping so much. I just hope you like the things I sent you. Thanks again for everything. I love it all!

I just received from elmpixie!!  I got some great stuff!  Elmpixie, you are an artist.  I wish I could draw as well as you do (and on fabric, no less!).  Anyway, on with the pictures!

First is a cute little notebook with a "Wicked" side and a "Tin Man" side.  Elmpixie says it's for both sides of my thoughts... muahhahahaha!

Next is a bracelet with slots for pictures of my family.  It says "There's no place like home..."
True that!

And last but certainly not least is a thread catcher!  Ok, I've never heard of these, but it is a really great idea and something that will definitely help me keep all my sewing machine area neater!  The top part is like a bean bag and the bottom is a little baggie.  I love it!  And it's my favorite color  Smiley

Thanks, elmpixie!  This was a great swap!

Due to technical difficulties I will be posting the goodies I sent to KraftKT

A Shrinky Dink poppy necklace and Earring Set. I did not think this was going to turn out as well as it did it was really hard to give up:

Magnets with images from the Wizard of Oz and a Wicked:

And my favorite. The story of this is that I made the ruby slipper out of polymer clay and then had no clue what to do with it. So when I went to Michael's to buy red glitter I saw this box that looks like a book and I just knew what to do:

And the front and back:

So here's what I sent:

eco-shopping bag in the colors of Dorothy's dress with a polyclay ruby slipper charm (the yarn is cotton and stretches to hold a lot of groceries)

polyclay Tik-tok and Patchwork-Girl-inspired magnets

I had fun doing this swap!  Cheesy

My package is finally on its way to babalina58! Thank you, partner, for being so patient. Because I've never posted pictures, I'm trying a couple of teaser pics for you. I'm still working on resizing my pics of the things you sent me.

Let's see if this works  Smiley  Sorry if the second one is big. I'm still trying to figure this out.

Yeah...the hoody is at least loosely inspired by the flying monkey costume from the movie - were I any good at direct translations of anything I'd be working for the UN Wink

Here's a pic of the full front with my son in it.  He wants one now too.

It was a spur of the moment flash of inspiration that came to me at the fabric store to make it so when I was buying I was going by my memory image of the costume and not the real deal.  I completely forgot about the white bits which would have made it more obviously flying monkey-esque.  I'd never really worked with polar fleece before this project.  It was very forgiving in ways I hadn't imagined and unforgiving in ways I thought I had covered.  I think next time I choose to applique fleece to fleece I'll use quilter's spray adhesive or something to stabilize it.  If you lot have any suggestions in that capacity, I would appreciate them!
