I can't seem to get away from making recycled cardboard boxes into notebooks.  Here's a few more I've added to my shop.

I Also started a new cassette tape coin purse.  It has the identical fabric and color of tape with the one pictured below except it has Guns and Roses Aerosmith  (I got it confused with another project) on the tape.  I figured out how to sew every part of it even the cassette to the fabric.  I despise using glue on everyday items that may wear off.  I have one more side to finish and it's going to be in my shop.  I hope 2 points isn't too much to ask for the item.  It is taking more time than I thought and some parts had to be hand sewn.

I finally revamped my shop a bit and opened.  Come check out the notepads that I've been working on.  Here's a teaser, but I saved the really big one for you to find in my shop.  LOL.   Smiley

Anyone interested in me putting some "fibergasms" in my shop?

8oz of soft sensuous fiber which will fill you with tingling possibilities and take you to new heights of creativity and passion. (Who needs s_x LOL)

Not sure exactly what that means, but it sound wonderful  Smiley

I've recently updated my shop w/ more mini notebooks.  I had a couple of people who were interested in them so I decided to dig into my starbucks cardboard boxes.  I swear I'm addicted to that place.  Also 2 full size starbucks notebooks.

Some mini tea notebooks.

I've also reduced some of the food themed notebooks from 1 pt to .5 each.

Hey everyone!  Guess what this is (and guess who made it!):

I finally figured the calorimetry out!   Cheesy

And there's a new hankie in my shop!  These are good for more than just blowing your nose, girls.  Use 'em to clean your glasses, wrap stuff up in your purse so it doesn't get lost or scratched, wipe the sweat off your face in the summer, etc, etc, etc.....

Okay, I'm out of points again, so other than roving, what are you all looking for?

I let my IYP10 partners have all my points and go on a shopping spree. (I had 6 points, so I gave each of them 3 points.) they had so much fun. I did too!

So I need points. . . lol.

Did you all miss the two purses I have showing?
1 point and I'll embroider just your name or your monogram, with a really fancy design.
OR
Custom embroidered purse 2pts -- choice of lemon or lime. Simple zipper style bag with cute rings handle. dimensions: top of bag/zipper is 11", bottom of bag is 7.5 inches, 6 inches deep. I can put flowers, animals, birds, monograms, owls, fish, phrases, Jacobean designs, thousands of designs to choose from.

Note: if you choose just a simple monogram or simple design, I can lower the points to 1 pt.

I finally finished something out of the numerous projects I started. It is an over the arm rest organiser. Made using the embroidery kit from Miss Violaceous. So look closely at the embroidery if you are picky. My photos are sideways. I try again tomorrow.

Also, I originally cut blue and red binding before realising that it didn't really match. I'm thinking of doing another with the flowers in red. Let me know if there's any interest.

Quilting totally got me into crafting too, although I've only made one and it took several years...are you going to quilt it yourself? By hand or machine? I ended up taking mine to a professional quilter - she did a queen size by hand in less than 10 days.

Okay, this is going to be more than you needed to know, but:

When I was home with my daughter one day about a year ago, I was watching public TV (I have no cable) and there was a quilting show.  Ordinarily I wouldn't have stopped on that show, but I think I got distracted by Lily.  They started showing this simple block, and how you could make a dozen quilts with this one block, just repeated.  I think the analytical side of my brain got hooked.  So I asked for a sewing machine and quilting stuff for Christmas, and here I am!  That's what started it all.

So here is the quilt top I've got done.

I've got it all pinned together, and have quilted two straight lines through it, but am really terrified of the rest of the process, so it's been on hold for several months now.  I'm going to be machine quilting it "in the ditch."  And I mean, I can probably get through that part, but the binding has me scared to death.  It would be terrible if I put all this work into the quilt and then totally botched the binding, you know?  (And I do not quilt by hand!  LOL.  I don't have the patience for that.)

Well, that took forever and the picture I found makes it look darker, I think, than it really is:

I just added a bunch of new stuff to my shop. Original photography notecards, handknit bracelet, scrabble notecards, scrabble nameplates - and I lowered prices on some goodies that really need a new home.   Grin

And, quilted, here is the VERY enjoyable result of your handmade pasta. I sauteed some cherry tomatoes in olive oil, added some feta cheese, tossed in the cooked noodles and... voila!

Mmmm, mmmm! The tastiest pasta my husband and I have had in quite awhile! Thank you so, so much for the lovely dinner.  Wink

That pasta looks scrumptious!   Shocked  I just got back from a family barbecue and even with a full stomach, I would still take a few bites just to taste it.

I'm still working on adding new items to my shop, but I did manage to finish this custom order for corduroy cat.

If anyone is interested in the same skull baby blanket let me know and I can make another one.  I even picked up a blue blanket for a little boy.

Moving is such a big hassle.  I have been to the DC area, but completely forgot about going during spring when they have the cherry festival.  It is so beautiful!  I may have to do that next spring and I heard the museums are free, no admission charges.

On a different note, I just sent out the skull baby blanket and since I was shipping directly to corduroy cat's friends as a gift I wrapped it up as a present.  If anybody needs to send things out as a present let me know.

KatyMai, I'm lovin' the hematite necklaces - very, very pretty!

I'm trying to get a little more "spunk" into my jewelry, as I'm usually pretty conservative. (Conservative sometimes means cookie monster earrings, but hey, a girl's gotta have fun, right?) That necklace of yours with the vial of sand? And the bumble bee bracelet? Both are so cool, but I'm not sure I could pull them off...

The bumble bee bracelet would certainly add more spunk lol... but i personally think the sand and shell one is quite dainty and elegant, dispite being a bit odd Smiley

EDIT: If it helps with sizes, heres a (blurry) pic of an empty vial on an american quarter (same size as a british 10p)
