I received a great package from Jazzybelle today!  She did an awesome job picking out things that I would like, everything is perfect!  The first thing I saw was this headband.  She picked my "grunge" theme and I totally love it!

I love it so much that I had to go change so that I would match nicely. Smiley (forgive the red eyebrows and greasy face, today was wax day)

She also sent me another headband in brown.  She picked my "tattoo" theme, and it is just beatiful!  I could never make my stitches look so nice...My camera doesn't take very good closeups  Undecided

We also decided to do a mini personal swap.  She sent me the cutest pair of button earings evar!

Thank you so much Jazzybelle!  Everything was perfect and I enjoyed crafting for you as well.  Thank you bruisedpeach22 for organizing this swap, I can now see why there has been 19 of them!! So fun!

Oh bugger it - I'll post photos of what I sent as well.

I was browsing through ambiguous.miss's wists, and I saw something I recognised, for I had wisted it too - a notebook made with floppy disks as covers. I had all the stuff I needed - because I'd wanted to make one for myself.

And - voila!

It's 'unusual' which was one of the themes, but I tried to run with 'rainbow' for the decoration.

It's got multicoloured pages on the inside

And my mobile phone is not good for photos, so here's another two, smaller shots:

The binding thread was a little too thick, but it was rainbow variegated!!

Hee.... g'wan - guess how big it is!  Wink

I received from zombiekilla yesterday! She made me THE most awesome Shrinky Dink necklace! Sorry these pictures suck; they don't do justice to her work!

First, the totally awesome tin the necklace came in! I'm slightly obsessed with cherry blossoms, so she decorated it with Shrinky Dink blossoms on clay (I think) branch.

Here's a closeup of one of the blossoms. It's so nicely drawn!

Here's the actual necklace. It is sooo pretty! My name is written in the most gorgeous writing (I am so jealous!). I love swirlies, and the branches swirl all over the place. The cherry blossoms are awesome! And, there is one rhinestone to add a little zing to it.

Just as bad of a picture, but a slightly better angle. Man, I need to make a diffused light box!

Thank you so much, zombiekilla! I LOVE it!

i'm a bit late in posting my pictures but i had to go visit my parents unexpectedly. nothing bad, they're just slowly driving me mad!!

anyway, here is A) The Tiny Thing I sent to my partner, its a Needle Needle case! a darning needle holder meant for a pharmacist!

and B) My Samantha Bryan-esque fairy from Aanchen. It's so beautiful! He's knitted with a clay head, rosy cheeks and a leather waistcoat! he also came on his own swing, with a selection of feathery wings to choose from.

Definitely the most beautiful tiny thing i've seen!

Okay folks.

There was a little box in my mail box today. I opened it, and decency prevents me from quoting what I said next.

Actually, what I said for the next five minutes. It was full of impressed invective and disbelieving blasphemy.

Because this is a FUCKING AWESOME angel package.

First I will acknowledge the lollies that it contained. Nerds, hershey thingies, and pixy sticks. I'm eating them right now.

And with that out of the way, let me show you this:

He's a robot! A robot!
We are the Robots.

Hang on... what's this?

OMG! They're multiplying!

We are robots
The world is very different ever since the robot uprising of the mid-90s.

This is A-1 freaking awesome. Matryoshka robots!

I am so so so so so so pleased with this!!! Thank you so much Rhymes with Orange - you are an incredible angel!

Thanks for all your nice comments, guys! I'm really glad you liked your OTT and that it's your style, summertimerolls! Cause I was pretty darn nervous after I opened your package this afternoon...  Grin

Check out what I received today! Wrapped up all pretty was this cool altered tin! There's always room for what, I wonder?...

...JELL-O! Summertimerolls made me amazing Jell-o mold magnets!

These have been in my favorite projects and my wist for quite a while, and now they're all mine. She made the magnets out of resin and all the little bits inside (strawberries, pineapple rings, orange slices--I seriously wish you all could see these in person, they're so detailed) out of Sculpey. They're just great. Here's a closer shot:

Thanks so much, partner, and thanks Bruisedpeach for organizing an awesome swap.  Smiley

After some nervewracking post-office drama, I received today from Lootyaj! It was doubly nice because the package came right as I was on my way out the door. So, without further ado, pics:

She made me this gorgeous bracelet that goes with two of my themes! The beads are green and reminded her (and me!) of mermaids. I took this picture while watching the opening ceremony of the Olympics. :-) It actually matched what I wore today, so I've already worn it.

And we chose to do swap another small item as a personal swap. She sent me this stamp that she carved and that I LOVE!

As you can see, it's already gotten some use.

Thanks, lootyaj! I love both items so much!

I received my OTT- and I really love it. R0ckwithme made me a gorgeous patchwork fabric bracelet with amazing little embroidered images with beads on each patch. The bracelet has a zip in the middle so it can be either one bracelet or two. Here's some pictures-

And couple of more close up pictures:

Thanks R0ckwithme!

Yey, I received from Koola yesterday Cheesy  She's been pretty ill recently but managed to struggle to the PO the other day to post my OTT.  Hope you get better soon m'dear!!

Koola sent me a mobile phone type charm made for my Astronomy/Cosmology theme.  It has a shrinky dink telescope with some really sparkly dangly beads and little mirrored stars and the coolest and tiniest little shrinky dink shooting star  Cool  I'm going to attach it to my cool ice blue DS Lite

I think it kinda looks like a tiny rocket taking off on the piccie in front of the dusty bamboo!

It's aaawesome, thanx so much Koola!  Kiss

Edit: Action shot Cheesy Took me freeeeakin ages to thread it through the DS hole cos I already have a wrist strap on there, got there in the end though phew!!
