Okay, all this talk about craft rooms so I figured now that mine was all cleaned up I'd show it off. I think I'm finally happy with the way I arranged it. There enough floor space, my cutting table folds down, and my fiance finally built me a counter top to sew on. It looks uneven in the pic but its straight in real life. I don't know about you guys, but I don't use an ironing board. I can't press things flat enough, so I use the counter top. I've been doing it for years and I haven't burned one yet!

I was inspired to clean my "craft room" after all the pictures, so I thought I would share mine. It's nothing special but it's nice that my family allows me to have some space. Anyway, here goes:

Before -

After -

Sorry so picture heavy. Smiley It doesn't look like that much of a change, but there was heavy internal reorganizing efforts performed.  Cheesy I tried posting earlier but it didn't work out, Photobucket hates me sometimes.

Other than a batik dashiki...I have one of these in mind for my partner.  I should have a slot free right before signups end and I am TOTALLY all over this one!  You pick your colors and I will get it together Smiley

This is one of the pair of head wreaths I made for my FOC Raffle Swap.

An item offered in the Offer What You Have Swap.

From the recent round of Sweat Shoppe Swap.

OK, I feel inclined to post my workspace photos as well Smiley

Craft corner.  Office is on the other corner.

Project and inspiration board.  I have a funny thought bubble up on there, partially hidden by my zippered pouch directions right now...that says Don't Take Any B.S. (take business into your own hands)  It originally came from an Entrpreneur magazine.  LOL!

The business end of the donkey....LOL!  My Office Space....LOL!  Yeah, I'm gonna have to ask you to come in on Sunday....yeeeaaaahhhh, that'd be greeeeaaaat....if you've seen the movie, you'll get this....LOL!  I'm a jokester today  Grin

Okay all you super organized hippy craftsters have inspired me to clean up my act! This is also my teaser pic. If you look close you can see TheSapphireMoon's package sitting on that mess I call my work space! It isn't wrapped in brown paper yet!
Shamefully I introduce to the world my mess of a studio  Embarrassed
After I post these pics I will be locking myself in this mess until Monday! It will be organized and spiffy by then or I'm not going to get to craft until it is and I really want to craft for a couple personal swaps!!
This is what you see when you walk in!

Here is the sewing station fairly organized!

And the mess I call a workbench! I didn't zoom in to close as not to scare anyone  Cheesy I swear there is an awesome workbench and drafting table under there somewhere. My hubby built it even.

Enjoy your teaser TheSapphireMoon just don't have a heart attack at the thought of where it was crafted!!

Irish_chicky... I don't think that will work...I've accidentally typed in my expiration date from my visa card wrong, and it immediately tells you that the card isn't valid.

I wanted to post this picture so that Ecstatic can see what i'm talking about, and it is pretty hippy, so I thought I'd post it here!
My mom makes these macrame plant hangers...Ecstatic didn't know what macrame is, so here is a pic:

and here's a closeup of the knotting:

My mom was born in '54, so she was a teen during the hippie days Smiley

My mom rocked the hippie style, I have pictures...here's one now!

Well, this was in '73, when my parents were in FL on vacation before they moved here and had me Smiley  Still cool tho!

So not the best pic of hippie pony, but you get the idea.  I stripped her of her original hair and design then painted my own design and added a few green crystals, then I rethreaded her hair using brown doll hair and dreaded it.  Then I put some beads in cuz every dread head has to have some dread jewelry!
