Wow, Mandylikespie, you did an awesome job!  I love the citrus dishcloth! It's sooo unique.

But I have goodies of my own!  I just got my package in today from lapoli!  She did an amazing job and truly spoiled me.  When I found out I got her as a swap partner I asked her if she wouldn't mind making one dishcloth for my Mother and one for me... and she was sooo sweet about it!  Not only did she make one for me and one for my Mother.. but she made two for me and Three! for my Mother!  I know.. I know.. I got spoiled! lol  She also included this set of the most adorable little soaps and they just so happen to smell very yummy!  Okay.. enough gabbing! ... here are the pics!

Here's a good overall pic of everything together

Here's a closer pic of some of the detail on one of my favorite dishcloths!  Don't you just love the scallop trim??

And here's my favorite!.. I love love love the color combo of aqua and pink and I adore the design on this one.. kind of like a basketweave.. it's beautiful!

And here's an upclose view of the cute little soaps.

Thank you so so so so much Lapoli!  You are such an amazing partner.  I hope you love everything you get, too!  And thank you so much for making some dishcloths for my Mother.  I know she is going to absolutely LOVE them!

Kell asked me to post pictures of what I sent her because she can't find her camera.  I don't have a group shot, but I sent her...

...a ballband dishcloth:

...an owl dishcloth:

...a crocheted bookmark:

...and a mouse:

This was a super fun swap! I tried out the ballband pattern for the first time, and now I'm totally addicted!  (I've made the owl dishcloth a few times before, but the pattern is impossible to memorize, so it doesn't get as many fun-points.)

I received my beautiful cloths from amyracinrose yesterday!! She did a gorgeous job, and the colors are absolutely perfect. (Unfortunately, my photography is not!)

Here is a group shot of the three cloths together.  The bottom is a very pretty green variegated yarn.. and, they look so perfect together!

A closeup/solo shot of the dark green cloth.  All these cloths are huge--I am going to feel a tad guilty when I use them the first couple times.  I love the dark green color, and amyracinrose has the most beautiful stitches!

amyracinrose's mother wanted to contribute to the package, and she made these two cloths.  The varigated green has the prettiest scalloped border and I love the look of the white border with the dark red cloth:

Then, as if these three beautiful dishcloths weren't enough, amyracinrose snuck in a surprise!!! Look at this!

I gasped when I saw it--it's so beautiful! I was really excited to get her as a partner as I've long admired her gorgeous embroidery (and envied the patience she must have, too), but I never expected her to send me a gorgeous towel (and with gnomes, nonetheless!!!).  I feel completely spoiled.

Thank you so much for being such a wonderful partner, amyracinrose!

So, I finally found the time to my dishclothgoodies from Maltiriel.
First, a lovely lovely dishcloth with a cherry. I love cherries!!!

Then the AMAZING spiderweb dishcloth. The coolest thing ever!!!

Then she send me some postcards with pictures from New Mexico. I'm jealous when I look outside my own window and it's raining...

BUT now i can tell everybody that I've been to New Mexico cause she also sends me this nice keychain. (BTW, I'm addicted to chili...)

Thank you so much Maltiriel. Yours will be the first dishcloths I'll ever use. (What a honour  Wink )

Here is my package from Macreede. Thank you so much, everything is so wonderful.

Black, white and gray. oh how i love these colors! The shape is so cool. I wanna learn to crochet!!!

I really need to learn to crochet. These just look so amazing.

ohhhh a bath poof - it reminds of white confetti cake with all the colors in it.

And all my extra goodies. I was SPOILED! Wonderful vanilla lotion, body wash and bath crystals. Peppermint fizzies for my feet. ( i have never used these and am excited to do so!) A candle that smells really great. A hair wrap towel....oh i always wanted one and just never bought one.  And a cute washcloth that expands when it gets wet.

Thank you again Macreede. I really enjoyed being your swap partner.

Here are my awesome cloths from MandyLikesPie:

The orange is so cute and cheerful, I love it!  And I am really impressed with the basketweave.  It's crocheted and really does look like real basketweave.  I am definitely going to have to learn this stitch, because I want about a thousand more of these. I haven't tried it out yet (too pretty), but it feels like it will be very scrubby. Here's a close-up, I wish I took better pictures:)

And the great orange:

She also sent me some mechanical pencils, since I put in my profile how much I love them.  I'd forgotten about that, but it's true, I really do love mechanical pencils and these are really nice.  And they coordinate with my dishcloths Smiley

Thanks so much, Mandy!  This was a really fun swap and I love these dishcloths Smiley  And thanks to kayrun for organizing!  I hope we do another round soon.

I'm so sorry I didn't post earlier, but this weekend was crazy so I totally forgot (I had to go out of town for a wedding, and then my parents came to visit, so I was busy the whole time!).  Just in case anyone's curious, I got the pattern for the spider cloth here and the pattern for the cherries here.  I just modified the outside of the spider cloth so it looked more like a web instead of granny squares.

And here at long last are the photos of the cloths princesspepper sent to me (there are even more photos here, because I can never just take one...)!
First a Harry Potter cloth with a snitch on it:

I love Harry Potter, and I've been wanting one of these cloths for myself forever, so this is awesome!

And second a kitty cloth:

I also love kitties and have two of my own.  Princesspepper stalked me very well! Wink

She also included this beautiful postcard:

It even has a little stand so it can be displayed.  Very cool!

I just love the yarn the cloths are made of; they're both super soft.  I was actually wondering what brand of yarn you used, princesspepper, so I can try to get some myself.  Grin  Hopefully it's available in the US...

So anyway, this was a great swap, I loved the cloths I got, and I'm definitely in for the next round whenever that is!  Thanks so much for the cloths princesspepper, and thanks to kayrun for organizing this!

Here are the cloths I received from wootwoot a couple of days ago.

I plan to do the kitchen at my new house (closing on it on Friday--yay!) in a strawberry theme. Wootwoot made up her own crocheted strawberry cloth pattern and send me two of them! How much do these things rock? I love them. They're so pretty that I don't want to use them, so I think I'm going to frame them and hang them up on the wall.  Grin

And second, check out this big mammajamma knitted cloth! I put my hand in the photo for scale to show how nice and large it is. I love the swirly design, and the size is perfect for washing pots or big bowls. And the colors will go great with all of my other green kitchen things.

Thanks so much, partner, for the great swap. My kitchen feels cozier already.  Smiley And thanks to kayrun for organizing! You know, I think this is one of my favorite swaps I've done because the crafting was quick and no-stress, and the items I got are both adorable and useful. Hooray!

Wow!  Everything looks fantastic!  This was a really fun swap to do.  I enjoyed trying out some new patterns and stitches I haven't tried yet.  Just look at the lovliness I received from ashestoashes on Friday:

I love the colors!  They look so springy/summery to me!  It's 2 knit dishcloths and 2 little knit scrubbies.  She also added some cool puffy stickers and it was all tied up in a nice blue grosgrain ribbon that I didn't photograph.

Thanks ashestoashes!  I love it!

Tayyeye asked me to post these pictures for her of the dishcloths I sent her (her camera's at work). Along with these two washcloths, I sent some froggie and monkey stickers and a few packets of English Breakfast tea.

She mailed hers out this week and we're only one state away from each other, so I'm hoping I get the ones she sent today! I love swapping. Smiley
