I seem to mostly be making things for other people at the moment. But well, pretty much everyone I know have their birthday in february, march and april so...

This is a birthday/moving away present for my ex-boss who is also a very good friend. Let's just say she has a thing for pokmons Grin We didn't know what to give her so I came up with this idea. She probably needs a new pillow for her couch and what better then than a pokemon pillow! I chose to make pikachu because he's easiest to recognize, pretty much everyone knows what he looks like Smiley

He's 40 x 40 cm, and extremely huggable Grin

I would've liked the ears to stand out but I guess they're just too heavy :/

Better view of the tail. Also a bit too floppy for my taste...

He's completely made out of polar fleece except for the eyes. The least amount of fabric you were allowed to buy was 0,25 m so it didn't feel very affordable when I needed like 5 cm... I do wish I would've bought black and white fleece anyway cus it would've looked so much better....

I haven't embroidered anything since I was in like 4th grade or something so I'm pretty happy with the result. I did look up some stitches for the mouth after I kinda failed with the nose.... Cheesy

I left the part where the brown meets the yellow loose so it would look more like fur. works pretty well, and there's yellow underneath all the brown so it's not gonna fall apart or anything.

and a reference pic of pikachu if you've never heard of him Wink

And of course there's a zipper at the bottom so she can wash him!
What do you think? Ain't he cute? Cheesy
