I've been obsessed with making these wrap skirts lately.  The yellow and pink (or mustard and mauve Tongue) is two overlapping layers while the stripped one is just one.  I left the edges raw - because I like the 'deconstructed' look.  The waistband is finished and long enough to wrap around twice or tie into a long bow.

Thank you so much for all the awesome feedback! Here are a few more pictures and a very simple tute as I could not get the photo hosting to cooperate.

This is the J shape each of the 10 panels the skirt is made out of.  It is approx. 7" wide and 24" long.  Sewn together, mine are about 5' long, but you can adjust it to wrap around your body around 1 1/2 times.  No patterns here!

Carefully pin together the J's, starting at the top.  Once long enough, sew a long waist band/tie for it, leaving a ~5' opening, so it can go around the skirt once flipped to righ-side out (does this make sense?)  Position the tie/waistband over the top edge of the skirt and sew all edges.

And of course a few action shots -

Thank you for looking and I'd love to see your version of a skirt if you make one!

See pattern posted earlier in this post.

Final skirt. I extended the top for a longer skirt. I am very pleased with the final skirt.

Thank you, thank you.

I loved this idea.  Thank you for sharing your pattern piece which took a lot of the mystery out of it in the beginning.
I'm working on making it a PDF.  I'm also going for the Redondo swirly look.

Currently a work in progress but there's enough to share so far!
