WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!! wowowowowowowowowow!!!  i just got my package from tiffie1023!!!  oh my god! it's amaaaaaaaaaaazing!!  i'm sorry there are so many photos but i was just so excited!!!  thank you SO much tiffie! you were so generous!!! god, i have had SUCH a shitty day and this totally made my day!!  xoxo!  i totally had the best partner EVER!!

the whole shabang!

i can't believe these are my shoes!  i can't believe that i OWN these and they will be rocking around town on my feet! they are aaaaamazing!  they say "rock the thunder" (i like the phrase 'thunder thighs' so it's a personalized play on my fave fatty pharse!) and "eat cupcakes"!

manatee cat toys for milo! he loves them! they are so freaking cute it was hard to give them up!!!

this top is amazing!  i love the way the front is cut!  i obviously need to wear a tank top under it, but it's so good for layering and cute!  the art on the back is so beautiful!  this top + tank top + little red skirt = night on the town here i come! so hot!

this amazing fatty pin up embroidery is totally going on my wall!  it reminds me of my favorite of dita von tease's burlesque in a giant martini glass, only hotter with a cute fat girl! <3!!

lovely magnets with yummy treats that i can't wait to put on the bulletin board i just got!!!

most AMAZING hand embroidered pillowcase EVER...seriously!  i can't believe she took the time to sew each of these amazing cupcakes!  wow!

shiney letter "curves are phat" wall art! i can't wait to look at this everyday!  there is a cute elephant and kitty on either side!

cutest robot shirt in the world!!  it's amazing!  i loooove this!  it's inspired by a shirt on my wist i think, but this one is hella cuter than torrid's stuff!  the robot is serving up my heart!  this shirt totally owns my heart!!

this package seriously almost made me cry.  tiffie just put to much effort into every little detail and sent all kind of extras and i was just so amazingly touched that this "internet stranger" took so much time out of her life to make all of these wonderful things for me!

 IMG FAT;D Grin Grin
I received from Gert today!!!
when i went to get the mail today, there was nothing in the box, so i was about to leave and Saul said "Sara, theres a package here for you, have you stopped at home yet?" so long story short the post office doesn't use the right door when delivering things.
So i got all excited when i saw it was my swap stuff!!!!!!
came home and first, couldn't find my kid anywhere, my mom was sleeping and thought he was up in his room, he wasn't.. he was at the park with my bf it turned out.. they were flying a huge kite the in laws gave him.
So once i was all calm from the thought my kid was missing i began to open my package!!!

I don't think a raccoon could have gotten into that box!

Everything all laid out.
A nice note and the card is so cute i think i might use the picture in the nursery since its a cute little frog!

(PLEASE EXCUSE the baby belly)

2 very cute and very tiny afghans!! i love them sooooo much, i think they will be just right for the carseats!!
and my cat marshmellow checking them out!

An awesome Tote .. i think you were stalking me.. i almost bought one very similar to this last week!

An awesome tote its monsters and zombies and things like that, along with a barrel of monkeys, the kid played with those right away, and put the bag to use as well, holding some treats i bought him today!

A beautiful bracelet i think it is made out of light pink glass beads. (my camera made it look almost white)

and last but not least a fat journal with some funny saying about being fat in it, and room for me to add my favourites!

Thank you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo soooooooooooooooooooooooo
much I absolutely love everything that you made me !!!!!!!
I just hope you love yours just as much!

Silvana, thank you!!(I don't know if these pictures are going to work from Picasa Web, so if they don't, I'll go back and fix them.....)

I had the crummiest day and I got home and my box was there!! It was a real pick-me-up and taking photos gave me something to think about, so it was way awesome and thank you, thank you, thank you!

She wrote me a sweet little letter (and don't worry - my handwriting isn't much better!)

This frame is awesome! You can't really see it here, but the butterflies and puppy do this sort of 3D thing:

There's a scent-burner with extra tea lights (which is awesome!) and this RADICAL necklace that's crocheted (I'm pretty sure). It's so beautiful!

Here's a close up of the necklace and cameo:

There's this little pot that's all opalescent with the cutest little legs,

And it's filled with sweet little quotes and affirmations, all rolled up!

Then there's my favorite -- The Star from Stardust! Here's her box:

And inside:

She's cute!

I'm amazed at this box, it's a fuzzy and blue and has a bow on it!

And inside, along with this sweet little bracelet she sent:

And, lastly! A pattern that I can't wait to try and make (something I've never done before!), which is next to the frame again, but it's the only shot I had of it:

I'm completely amazed - this is way more than I expected! Thank you for being the best (quickest, apparently) first-time swap partner ever! I promise to put my box out ASAP - everything's just gone all stupid lately.

Thank you!

Like I said, ladies, be ready to be jealous! I now have both packages in my posession, and Shaun had a little nap in his swaing this morning, allowing me to take some pictures.
Warning, there are a lot!

The whole shebang. Tons of swag here (Can we say spoiled?)

A great skirt, purse and shirt, all with cute little hearts on them!

Said clothing in action: (Posing like a loon lol)

That last one is with the great jean jacket that she stencilled for me with the BME heart logo. Wait! I haven't shown you the jacket yet? Here's a close-up of the stencilling:

Here's Shaun using the blankie she made for him in his swing while napping, as well as a close up of the embroidery:

And there's still more!
There were some diaper shirts (which are a bit big, but will fit him by summer)

And these great high-top converse style booties (also a tad big, but will grow into as well Smiley )

I didn't get any close-ups of the two other diaper shirts (sleeveless and plain, but I plan on decorating them for him as well), the box of belgian chocolates (baby daddy and I got into those quickly lol) or the fabulous hand-embroidered OOAK goddess. I really tried with that one, but the frame either reflected my flash terribly, or it got really blurry without the flash, because my camera's old and takes forever to take no-flash pics, and I have unsteady hands lol. Kookaloo, do you have a close up you'd like to share with us by any chance?

I have already worn the jacket out (it was in the first package, so I wore it to go pick up the second lol) and plan on wearing the shirt soon. The skirt will have to wait a little bit; the waist is about 1 1/2" too small. I should have no problem with it by summer, though... I'm still losing my baby weight. I'm actually 16lbs lighter than I was before I got pregnant, and haven't even started working out yet due to a bruised tailbone. (I love nursing!)

Again, thank you so much! This was a really great package, and I got totally spoiled! This swap has been so much fun again, and I can't wait to see a round 6!

So, here's Shaun and I saying "bye-bye" for now. Don't hurt your wrist by overclicking on that wist button!!!

I came home from my easter trip home to my package!
It is pretty much the best thing ever.  Here are lots of photos!

This was the package when I first opened it.  There was a little note in a card held together with the cutest little mini clips

This is the whole lot! The bunnies were inspired by the fact that I come from a huge family.
The book is filled with some of the most beautiful textile art I have ever seen, which is something I am so interested in. and then there is this fabulous little doll that looks just like ones I used to collect as a little girl.

Then there are my very favorite bits of the package.
Action shot of the coolest bag ever!  If you cant tell we share a love of Neil Gaiman.

The bunny hanging out with his new friends on my nightstand!

These are the beautiful old post cards and tickets and a letter. They are gorgeous.

Earrings and necklace in a wonderful color combo! I loooove green

And here is the mess I left on the living room floor after unwrapping it all!

Well, guys, it seems that my package has gone astray Sad
I sent it on Apr 30, and that's about where it ends. I've checked Canada Post's tracking, and it shows it being accepted and shipped, then leaving the country. The end. It's now a month later, and I can't get a straight answer from them as to where it is or when it will arrive. I'm still hoping that it will pop up, but in the meantime, Kookaloo_Starr has given her permission for me to post the pics of the goodies.

I held out a couple days longer just to see if it would turn up. Guess not... So, here's what I made:
A hand-carved stamp with her name on it. (I know how hard it is when your name is spelled differently than the "standard" so I figured I'd make it a little easier to personalize things)

Some chubby lovin panties, inspired by the original big butts anthem, Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls"

A dress inspired by one on her Wists. I couldn't locate the right fabric, bought thought this would work as well. I really hope it fits well (when she recieves the package) as I worked without a pattern, and had no one to try it on...

And a starghan, adult-sized, in her favorite colour. Should be nice to snuggle under, or even get close and cuddly with a certain someone. Partially because it was on her wishlist, and partially because I love this pattern SO MUCH!

And gratuitous baby shot again also for size reference of the blanket. Shaun was one month old, and about 12lbs in this pic.

Sorry it won't be a surprise anymore, but I hope you love it just the same.
I'm calling CP again on Monday, and if I can't get things sorted out, I'll be working on a make-up package to send...

My swap partner's awsome box.  I got a ton of jolly ranchers, a very cool sweatshirt that says weight is just another form of prejudice, a pamper kit with lip balm, scrunchies, candles, soap.  And a very pretty bracelet that i have not taken off since i got it.

Hippiejo is awsome thank you!!!

Wink Prepare to be super jealous!!!! I received from shootingdreams and LOVE LOVE LOVE everything!!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!! Here is what happened after I opened the box......

swarms of kiddies taking my eggs!!!!! The eggs had little goodies and treats in them and one necklace. So fab!!
The notecards will sooo come in handy - I am always writing thank you notes for the kiddies. Roll Eyes

The tee (I can only get hubby to take 1 action shot before patience is gone Tongue) is uber-fabulous!!! Glitter pink sparkle paint on a teal blue and I know that stencil had to take forever to cut out!

An lastly - I already have it on Grin - the super rockin' short sleeve hoodie! Couldn't get a good pic of the hood - but it is made from the same fabric as the kangaroo pouch - Day of the Dead skulls!!!! YEA!!!!! (ignore the stupid look on my face - hubby makes sure to make me laugh right before taking the pic - and the extraordinarily bad hair - the kiddies were playing with it Tongue) You can also kinda see the red necklace in the pic Roll Eyes Thank you again sd!!!! Great job - LOVE everything - and the kiddies thank you for the eggs (they already stole them Wink )

I received from JanelleLeigh!  I've been trying to post since Sunday with no success.  Without further ado, the wonderful things I received:

Beautiful, super-soft shirt, onto which Janelle sewed/embroidered a pink leafy image.  It's perfect for me!  I wore it all weekend.

Here's a close-up of the leaves.

Lovely frame in my favourite colour!

Super-useful green tin filled with fat-friendly word magnets.

Thanks Janelle!  Sorry for the posting delay.
