Okay, bargain hunters, I think my swap partner is the QUEEN of all Bargain Hunters!! She should have a freakin crown made of second hand treasures and coupons.

 Shocked Shocked Shocked

I received my package already! I was super surprised that it made it here in only 1 day! Way to go Canada Post!

So here are my pics of the fabulous stash Slingmomma sent to me;

Here's a group shot (I assume you are all quite jealous right now)

Some crafty supplies and stickers for my kids (which will soon be on my walls, I'm sure  Wink )

I LOVE these fat quarters so much!

Cute froggy panels

Fab gift tags!

This pouch is fantastic! and the matching box. In the back is the leftover fabric (which is beautiful.)

And my favorite; this tote that has pockets outside and in and a key latch! (Please disregard my frumpiness. I am in Canada and it is damn cold therefore it is sweatshirt day)

Are you kidding me?!!?!!

I am blown away by this package and now I'm a bit nervous about my package. It will be hard to match all this wonderful stuff! Slingmomma was a great swap partner and if she decides to join another swap, I envy her partner.

 Cool You Rock!!

Hey, everybody! Oohmybees sent me some amazing bargains!

They came in a box decorated with one of my favorite things, dragonflies:

And everything inside was wrapped in tissue decorated with dragonflies, too! It was very special and pretty:

She made me feel like a super model because she sent me a ton of clothing all tailored to me and my loves. She made t-shirts, a shrug, and a gorgeous dressy tank top.

Get ready to see "Crafter's Next Top Model!"  Wink

This babydoll tee has dragonflies above the little pockets:

(after this photo my camera died so the rest of the photoshoot is indoors at night. The lighting is not so good, but I did my best to take decent pics!)

And it has a colorful dragonfly on the chest. I love the decorations, the buttons, and the style. It fits me perfectly!

I love sea creatures and the octopus on this next little number is really special. This shirt is sooooo cool!

(I didn't even know it was a re-con until I read her letter. My jaw dropped!)

Awsome, right?

You won't even believe this next piece was handsewn. It is hard to do it justice with words so check it out for yourselves:

You can see the shaping even when it is just hanging there. It has a keyhole type opening in the front that I couldn't quite capture, but it is there and it really adds that special little something.

The material is breathtaking. A royal blue oriental brocade with a flower motif. So beautiful:

It feels like a million bucks when I put it on:

I have a really hard figure to fit and this shirt is truly impressive because it somehow camouflages my huge bosom.  It fits me that great!

She also made me a velvet shrug. Luxury!

It's a deep midnight blue that really goes well with the brocade. Mmm...perfect.

Here's the back of it:

(Yes, that's a pair of circular needles holding up my hair hehe)

And she even spoiled me more by sending me the leftover fabrics she didn't use and the pattern for the tank top. Hmmmm.....
Anxious model?
or Psycho model?
I couldn't decide. They're both such fierce shots!

Thank you, K!
You really, really, blew me away. I'm so glad we were partners!

I can't believe she was able to do all this for under ten dollars, but here's the proof:

Black t-shirt: $1
Green t-shirt: $1
Grey t-shirt: $2
Blue velvet dress: $1
New Look Pattern: .10
Oriental Brocade: 4.75
Total: $9.85

I-hook & eye
Fabric paint
Freezer paper

I got my package from CKChan! We did $10 packages. She made me a bunch of wonderful goodies off my Wist, and a bunch of other things too.

I opened my box to this...

She made me a happy amigurumi octopus, who shall be called Squishy (and he shall be mine).

I also got these arm warmers that I've wanted soooo bad forever (I don't knit, but I've been trying to learn). Here's the action shot:

Also, I got one of these awesome star blankets.

And some earrings...

Finally, these AWESOME stitch markers with Nintendo themed pictures on them (I love the little question mark box one).

CkChan managed to do a ton on $10. Thanks for everything!

Oh. My. Gawd. I just picked up the package from craftydeb...I'm speechless! What a wonderful package!! My tyke's not here yet, so no action shots until later, but WOW! She totally nailed it on so many levels: bargains, personality, and especially the projects. Did I mention what a great package she has Wink ?!  Cheesy

I was giggling at the post office and wanted to just rip it open there...but I managed to make it home before carefully opening the package...okay, only because it was taped so well that I needed the kitchen shears!

Now that I'm writing this out, I'm wishing I'd taken pictures of the layers in the box instead of removing items and then taking pictures.  Roll Eyes

First up, a tiara-to-be! The embroiderd star - craftydeb gave detailed instructions about how to attach it to a headband so I can wear it proudly! It totally reminds me of wonderwoman! yowza!

Then: freecycle fabric for my uglytotes! I make grocery/book totes out of sad, unfortunate fabric that would otherwise be clogging the landfill - usefull from useless. There's enough here for at least eight bags!! There's also a *huge* bag full of ribbons and lace. Huge. Full of stuff.

Lots of loot for my tyke, too!

There are empty spice jars and an oj bottle for my tyke's kitchen! She will go bonkers over this stuff! Oh, I almost forgot: there are seeds in one of the jars!! We are so going to have some gorgeous plants!

And a book full of train stickers! Plus, as you can see, the cutest little appliqued train on a t-shirt for L!! (action shots soon) It is so flipping cute! The weather here is totally dreary today, so there's no way to get a good picture yet, but this is so *cute*!

Then, the piece de resistance (pardon my (poor) french)! This book is just so unbelievable! It' a fabric book with a super cute train theme! Here are all the pages:

You cannot believe how cute and colorful this is. It's just too cute! L is so into trains -- she will be beside herself. I cannot wait for her to see this!

My poor photography "skills" in no way do justice to the awesome work! Thank you craftydeb!

QB, receiver of *the* *best* swap package *ever*

I simply cannot get that book picture to flip. gah.

So I received my package from ollieorange today, and as she promised it is full of creepy (and crafty) goodness. I was so excited that I took an over abundance of pictures, so please bear with me.

Here is the overall package:

And here are some close up shots:
A mirror that has been decoupaged with pages from a children's scientific book (i think)

Close up of the flying squirrel goodness- Wheeee!!!!:

A black velvet painting kit (and I now have the song Black Velvet by Alannah Myles stuck in my head)

wind up sushi!

Handmade needle book with awesome zebra striped felt

Now you may be saying "Well that really isn't all THAT creepy. Where is the creepy this crazy lady keeps promising" You may have noticed a doll head in the first picture- if that wasn't creepy enough, wait till you see what ollieorange did to it.

She turned it into a pin cushion that looks like the doll's brains!!! I really love this. Seriously.

Ollieorange also gave me an awesome sewing book that will be useful as I attempt to learn how to sew.

Thanks ollieorange!!! you did a super job!

I received today from CrochetAdikt, and I adore everything she sent!  She didn't include a price list, so hopefully she'll post one sometime.

Here's what I got:

She made these wonderful doilies, bookmark, earrings, etc.  Aren't they beautiful?

Fabric scraps that will go on my pink quilt...

A crochet hook case and homemade hot chocolate mix (I think...haven't tasted it yet but it smells AWESOME!)

All sorts of supplies so I can learn to crochet.  The yarn is beautiful colors, and she sent a bunch of patterns.

Last, but not least, she sent me a little surprise.  This made me laugh so hard because I can SO see something like this ending up in a box that I mail out.  When you have kids, stuff like this happens... Cheesy

Thanks again, Rachel, for a great swap.  You were such a fun partner!
