Okay!! Here is my shirt for the book release tonight. Please be kind. This is my first ever "customized" shirt. I am pretty proud of it, seeing as I didn't screw it up too terribly.  Cheesy

Back (little blurry, sorry  Embarrassed):

Front:

Close-ups of the lettering:

I did all of this free hand. I think that's why I am so proud of it. hehe

OH MAN! I woulda been rude! I would have been all

'WTF MAN! DON'T BE A DOUSCHE!' but that's just me. Cause you know ... I'm rude. I actually got fired from a job for being rude (even though that one time I actually wasn't!).

Anyways, on a slightly happier note. TO those of you going to midnight releases what are you wearing? I just finished my shirt. It says Pure Blood and has a snake on it.

It turned out pretty crappy actually. It's not something I would send out. But for me it's gunna be cool!

I am a HUUUUUGE Ron fanatic, so I'm trying to make myself a shirt with Ron on it, using iron on transfers, but my STUPID printer is out of STUPID ink and I don't have the STUPID credit card to go pick up new ink. I wonder if some place like Office Max could print it out for me. I'm sure they'd look at me funny, coming in there with my 13 month old on my hip & asking them to print out a backwards picture of Ron on iron-on transfer paper. Oh well, what do I care? Just for laughs, here's a couple of the images that I'm thinking of using. Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Wink
This is my #1 choice right now:

But he is also oh-so-yummy here too:

And this one just makes me giggle:

I was also wondering, should I choose the second one, if anyone had any ideas of what saying I could put on it. I'm at a loss for candid Ron quotes with the exception of "bloody hell" and "spiders! I hate spiders!"

Ok all my fellow Ron lovers...here is the image that I'm going to be putting on my t-shirt.
With flash:

And without flash (truer to the colors...it's not as washed out as in the above pic):

I drew him all free hand & added the crown because Weasley is indeed my king!  Cheesy

I used this photo:

[giggle] I'm glad I preview posts that I make that have photos. I just noticed that I forgot to color in the back of his robe between his legs. You can see the pencil line, haha. I just filled it in. I will post pictures of the finish product in just a little bit. I plan on putting this image on the back and writing "Weasley is MY king" on the front, maybe with a crown...not sure yet about that. Oh, and I used fabric crayons to color it in (except for his face b/c the pack doesn't come with peach, so I'm trying out a regular crayon...we'll see how it goes).

ME!!! i told my husband i DIDNT have to go this week/weekend and now i am DYING!!!!!  Roll Eyes

Well, if I had it MY way, I'd be going to the midnight showing, but he's a weeny & needs his "beauty rest." I am going absolutely crazy! I watched the Harry Potter weekend on the Family channel this past weekend & have watched GoF twice this week already!! I watched it yesterday afternoon & this morning. I feel like I'm starting to twitch! haha

I am itching to go tonight too but my husband gets up at 5am for work. And plus our sitter is going tonight. So we are going tomorrow night. I made my dh a shirt, Do you all want to see it.... Ok this is what he gets to wear tomorrow.

This is my first stenciling project. It says "you can Slytherin into my house" I saw one that said "you can slytherin into my bed," But I thought that would be naughty. So I made him this one. He wants one that says mudblood too. And so do I.  I am so proud of it...lol
I can't wait to see it!!!

Just saw this Get Fuzzy for today and had to share.  Cheesy

There we go, that should work now.
http://www.comics.com/comics/getfuzzy/archive/ - There's the link, cause it's still kind of hard to read. It doesn't allow it to be any wider.

reusable swiffer pads...I never thought of that before.. can you use acrylic yarn and make it work just as well? I'm mostly looking for it to pick up dog hair... Hmmm.
If you are looking for the pad that picks up dry stuff, ie: dog hair, then I think that the acrylic should work just fine. However, if you want it to get wet, I would recommend using cotton/dishcloth cotton because, from what I've been told in the Knitted Washcloth KAL, acrylic doesn't hold water very well and molds over time. Eww, I know. Wal-Mart carries a fair selection (at least mine does and I live in a teeny town) of Peaches 'n Creme for $1.27 for a 2oz skein. 1 skein can make 2 knit washcloths, depending on the pattern you use, of course. I plan on using the leftovers from the cloths I'm making to work up some Swiffer cloths and I plan on "padding" them with cloth diapers that my daughter doesn't need anymore (I'm sure that scraps of towel would work well too!).

Samsara, thanks for the awesome links!!!!

Here's a picture of my Peaches 'n Creme stash. I think I may have an addiction.  Cheesy
