Atsuko and I did a private swap, and Atsuko spoiled me rotten! Such a great package!

Here's a little bit of what she sent:

first this card sets the stage:

I'm a night owl and my husband is a morning lark.

He says:

I say:

Here's both:

Plus I asked for a butterfly necklace and atsuko offered to make me a petal necklace.

Then she totally surprised me by adding a matching bracelet.

And the most gorgeous triple strand necklace:

My mom loves giraffes, so I asked her for her famous beaded giraffes:

Atsuko asked if I wanted two for my mom, and she made them into pins. She totally surprised me by putting it in this fabulous box:

Then she added a felt giraffe! She is the queen of felt stuffies!
here's a link, because this is already picture heavy:

Finally, she gave me a most wonderful ATC kit! I can use it to make greeting cards, too.

Here are links:

Okay, Atsuko, if I missed something special, let us all know!

Vanillaxlight sent me a super surprise package!! Grin Grin Grin  I've been going through a really rough time in life right now and it was like a big bundle of handcrafted cheer in a box.  I can't thank her enough...

I lost my favorite scarf the very first night I wore it and she made me one to replace it!
Same colors & everything!

I had a rainbow scarf on my Wists and she made it...but she crocheted it in some whacky crazy Tunisian way, so it looks knit.
CRAZY, I tell you!
I had this on there as a "Yeah, I'll add this, but it's a big old hope 'cause I don't think anyone will ever make it for me" item! Cheesy

A beautiful crocheted bracelet in two sizes of red, glass beads and two sizes of black, crystals.
I love it down to the pretty clasp!

MAGAZINE beads with a soda pop top clasp!
This is so funky cute it hurts.

A ton of goodies!
Stitch & Bitch, a turtle who's gonna grow super big for me, shrinky dink magnets and a tin with even more in it!, a pack of beautiful birdie buttons & a cookie cutter!

ANNDDDdd... a shrug by Happy Hooker.  She thought it might be too small, but it's not at all - it's perfect & SO cute!  I love that it's in white 'cause it'll match so many tops.

Here is what I got in my package from Dragonsmuse. I am still in awe of this package - way above and beyond and I love it all!

Collin wore his shirt to school today by the way!
Three shirts - all Spidey and one for each of the men in the house!

That one is David's.

This one is Logan's.. he is wearing it but I wanted to get a close up of the upside down webslinger himself!

Stickers which Collin has completely claimed and probably won't share with Logan... and a kit to get me started making my own shirts!

and can you believe this?  Rockem Sockem Robot rings that work!!

This was a fun swap for me!  Both sending and receiving!  Thank you so much Dragonsmuse for a great package that will be enjoyed by everyone here!

Stifflersmom and I did a personal swap which arrives just before Christmas, so I think we've both been distracted from posting.  It was great!  I sent her some knitted mittens.  The first picture shows the color, the second shows the cabling:

And she sent me a great swap journal (just what I needed) with a bunch of other goodies (a gardening journal, a cute pendant, and some awesome anatomy stickers):

I did a personal swap with stifflersmom (wow - she's certainly been busy this year already! *lol*) I sent her some pantas and she sent me this amazing bundle of goodies; a hand-made journal with gorgeous paper in and a cluck ATC  Cheesy, some chocholate martini lipbalm (YUM) a nest brooch, and some resin pendants  Cheesy

Thank you Stifflersmom - I'm psyching myself to make a mark in that lovely journal already - even the BF commented on it, that it had "nice" paper in, and he doesn't usually notice that sort of thing! *lol*

Hi Tanza and friends!

This is a long overdue posting of the wonderful shirts that Tanza made for my daughter.  Thanks!!!!!  Yes, Tanza made me not 1, but 2 wonderful embroidered shirts in custom colors.  Smiley

I messed up and sent her package surface so poor Tanza still hasn't received my items and it's been almost 2 months. *sigh*  Anyhow I thought it was time that I shared the wonderful shirts she made for me.  I failed to get any action shots.  My Lana is being a rascal and running from me whenever I try to get the shirt on her.  Ack.

overall shot:

closeup of the bunny:

closeup of the kitty:

Thanks again Tanza!  We love them!!  (I secretly wish these were in my size; I'm a bad mommy  Wink.) These are going to be perfect for summer.
I'll be sure to get some action shots then!

Take care!

She actually sent three burp cloths but one was already in the laundry when I took this picture.

Hello! I just did something like a personal swap with Crnaofca, actually i randomly found a wist of hers (Book: "Knit 1, Kill 2" by Maggie Sefton) when i was putting together my wist page, asked her if she would like it (i had just finished reading it about a week earlier), and we exchanged suprise packages (well, except for the book, haha)! She was extremely nice and we communicated alot, and even though she is over seas and i am not, the packages only took 3 weeks surface mail! Huzzah!!

I don't have a picture of what i sent her, because until today, i didn't realize there was a gallery for personal swaps  Embarrassed, but i'll tell you: The book, "Knit One, Kill Two" by Maggie Sefton, Holiday 2006 Vogue Knitting Magazine (they dont have it where she lives), and three balls of Patons Lacette in Black- Oh, and a super cute penguin Christmas card!

She sent me this beautiful hat that she knitted (its more of a celery green than it shows, my camera's funny with color), 2 tiny bundles of festive ribbon, lovely variegated rainbow yarn, fuzzy silver boucle, and two emerald green sock wool balls (again, the color- they are green not black, haha!) I love it! i needed sock yarn badly!

She also sent somebeautiful earrings, the chartreuse one's are my favorite, and two incredibley adorable pins that she said are about 20-30 years old! Awesome!! I am absolutley in love with the bear with the child in his basket  Grin

Thank you Crnaofca!! You're the greatest!!
