Tiny candle holder set from cortag04, thanks! Sorry about the crappy picture, my camera decided to take that time to start dying.

And here is what I sent to her:

and with a candle

Explanation: The flower is supposed to be a Gerber daisy, which is her favorite flower ( but I'm not that great with clay so it is a little wonky,) maroon is her favorite color, and fresh cut grass is her favorite scent.

Here we go!  This is the lovely little 3x5 mini journal that CraftyZary made for me:

Inside the front cover, she printed in my coat of arms and added my name and the word "journal" in gothic script:

Inside the back cover, my coat of arms is printed again, and you can also see the leather bookmark that's attached to the spine:

Zary wanted me to point out to everyone that she DID follow the rules and sent One Thiny Thing to swap with me.  I need to point this out because also in the envelope was this awesome leather-and-wood necklace for my peasant costume:

She was very clear that the necklace was a "thanks for organizing" gift, and it was therefore not a swap item, and she therefore followed the rules.   Grin  Hey, I'm not one to argue!!  As princess pointed out earlier, "Writer won't send it back!"  Nope - this little writer is keeping her cool costume necklace!

THANK YOU, CraftyZary, for the lovely e-mails and the awesome crafts!

Hey, guess what?

Here's him (it's definately a Him) being a slug:

It as often thought good practise for Book Slugs to imitate bookmarks. (Book Slug is very religious, here he is in my His Holiness the Dalai Lama book, which he slurmed straight into):

And this is him next to his little pal,

And FINALLY, now you can see the amazing tatting which The Meow Wont Purr carried out!

Thank you so much, Carmela! I love Book Slug so much! I have to go round all my books and fish out the dirty reciepts and old bus tickets now  Roll Eyes

Thanks again! yay!

Here come the pictures!

Princessandthebead is awesome!  I came home to the most beautiful pair of beaded earrings!  The findings are silver, the center pieces is four swoops enclosed in a silver oval topped with internal curls.  The beads are a delightful mix of colors, shapes and materials.  There are citrine colored matte finish heart beads, pretty purple seed beads, topaz colored transparent beads, silver beads and stars and more beads I don't know the name of!  And they're mine! Mine, I tell you!  Thanks you, Princessandthebead!  Mwaaah!

This gallery is soooo full of beautiful things, everyone's crafts are amazing!  Shocked it has been a great swap, one of my favorites so far  Smiley

And I got my envelope today! I don't find the right words to express how much I love it, it is simply wonderful!!!   Writer78 sent me the most awesome, beautiful, wonderful piece of art! The title is 'One Tiny Girl' and it is an acrylic on canvas painting of my daughter, approx. 4x5 inches and it is so perfectly made, I love it!  It will have a very special place here at home.
Here is a picture of the wonderful painting and below is a pic of my daugther so you can see how perfect Writer78 made it...

Eva, thanks again! you should sooo change your name from Writer78 to Writer/Artist78, that would show the whole art inside you  Cheesy you rock!

I definately think we can say you stayed within the rules becasue you made me one set of items. Also, I think I'd wear the rothko one as earrings. I was wondering how you made them because they're transluscent but the colours are still bright.

And here are pictures of my attempt. You also get a good idea of the tiny-ness:

It actually wasn't that hard. It's like doing really fine lacework. The hard part is that you hardly have anything to hold onto so my right hand got all cramped up. I won't be switching to this length but I kind of feel like I should do lacework with tiny guage hooks.

That little crochet hook - WOW.
I made something similar last winter.  It's a brooch, made from toothpicks, beads, single-ply yarn, and a safety pin - really low-tech.  I glued the stitches on the needle so they wouldn't slip off.

EDIT: Forgot to add - it was hard for me to knit with the toothpicks because they weren't smooth, so instead I used the smallest needles I had, then slipped the stitches from the needles to the toothpick.  Much, much quicker that way!

And now for the unveiling of the precious wonderful tiny thing that I received from Fidget!

It is the most precious tiny frog pillow ever seen!  All that I need to go with it is a tiny little glass slipper!

This is just really amazing!  It looks totally professional! And I put the quarter beside it so that you could see just how tiny it is!

Not to much post office bashing girls...they finally delivered the wonderful stitch markers loves2 made for me. I kind of think she may have broken some of the swap rules but I don't think we should hold it against her - I'm not going to. I also have to start a new project to use them - perfect motivation.

One is a mini crochet hook through a mini ball of yarn.
The second bunch os silver wire and blue beads.
The third bunch is extra special. She made some mini-Rothko inspired paintings! They are so amazing! His works are some of my favorite ever and it makes me so happy just looking at these mini versions.

Loves2...a hint is that your item involves red. I really hope it gets to you soon.

starpiste, it's really naughty of you to tell me the item is red...it just makes me more curious (and impatient)!  I would have hounded you for more hints if I didn't find an envelope with a Canadian stamp in my mailbox this evening!  Hell yeah!  Your tiny treasure is perfect!  A tiny notebook...done in vivid red and black.  I love that you added inspirational quotes on some of the pages Wink  The envelope style closure is definitely a good feature to have (I'd know that because my current notebook is in a pitiful state).  I'll definitely put the tiny notebook to use...actually, I've already put it in my purse!

I'm such a dork  Roll Eyes  I was so focused on getting the message posted that I forgot to include the picture.  Bah.  Here's the tiny treasure I received from starpiste!
