Yay! I'm the first to receive!

I got a wonderful package from LadybugsAndBumblebees today and I'm excited to share it. There are many pictures so be prepared.

First thing, I open the box and I'm greeted by this:

Everything was wrapped so neatly and so colorfully.

I asked for a ton of different things and she tried to do them all. A dishtowel, for example, with a lovely crocheted hanger:

Dishcloths:

Coasters:

I love the beading on the edges.

A colorful spring scarf (this one had the beaded edges too, very pretty!):

Some awesome handmade rainbow colored stationery with a stripey book mark:

I love the texture of the paper.

And then as if all that rainbowy goodness wasn't enough... Extras!

Notecards, rainbow stickers, tangerine lip balm, and sticky notes.

Thanks for your generosity and thoughtfulness, LadybugsAndBumblebees, you make me feel like spring is finally here!

I finally got the chance to take and post pictures of the great package Mandykaye sent me. She super spoiled me!

I love all the gelli prints. I've already planned what I'm going with the rainbow octopus, and the rainbow galaxy is going to go in a frame. The clock isn't hung yet, but it will be. Thanks so much, Mandykaye!

Look what I got from monkey_girl!
First, I had to show you how she sent the items wrapped in the cutest rainbow paper. Also pictured are the super yummy goodies she sent. So good!

She made me some slippers! Not only are they adorable (both inside and out have rainbows and unicorns) but they fit great and are warm and cuddly. Perfect!

She also made me two bags. One with the cute rainbow fabric and the other with a lovely colorful flower print. Both will get lots of use.

Thanks so much Teresa! What a fun swap. Smiley

So many pretty rainbows! And I now have my own goodies to add:

Bugaboo1 made exactly what I wanted, and that is cozy cotton socks! She also kept them on my favourite end of the rainbow (the one with all the purple!) And a happy rainbow of Skittles for my girls, who are always happy when a Craftster package contains something for them, too.

(Can't open the candy bag yet because then there won't be anything left to share)

Happy feet!

The purple yarn was hand dyed especially for my socks, and they are so comfortable and such a lovely fit! Steph, you'll have to help me out with the technical terms: The purple plain knit part fits like a yoga sock and stays where it's supposed to be, and the ribbed parts give me just the right amount of wriggle room (I hate socks that are too tight or too short). So this pattern is already perfect for me. And what makes these socks even more perfect is the entrelac part! Ever since I saw that I've wanted something with those pretty little squares, and now I have my entrelac socks!

Steph, thanks so much! And just in case I didn't make myself clear, I love those socks and will wear them forever! (In sock terms, that is.)

OMG Ive been pinned!  Kiss You know, I totally could have stitched rainbows forever. It was my favorite thing to do over the last month in the grey, rainy PNW. I have another rainbow idea in the works. This swap really got my crafty mojo going
I have to share a group shot, because I was unable to send one thing that I thought was so darn pretty.
Growing up, we would go to the ocean and visit a candy store. Everyone else got salt water taffy. Im not really a fan, but they also had jelly bellies all separated out by color and flavor and I would always pick out my favorites and have a rainbow bag of jelly bellies. I wanted to do something simular for Kansas, so I bought separate bags and layered them in a glass jar. It was so pretty. When I went to the post office, I dropped the jar and the lid broke and the whole floor was covered in rainbow jelly bellies! It was mighty embarrassing but the floor looked so pretty! Im really bummed I didnt get get to send it though.
