Hagrid was my favorite, too. I was inspired by a picture of a felt Hagrid hoop on audio's Pinterest.

I am in love with that hoop!

Prompt: June Rippit Pond
Team: Creators
Bonus Points: Brain Power
Project Name: overalls
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I wanted some loose, capri-length overalls for gardening, so I sketched out a quick pattern and used a sheet someone had scrapped by sending it to a thrift store where it was salvaged and eventually turned into said overalls.

Prompt: June Enchanted Spork-in-the-Road
Team: Creators
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Shortcake batch #1
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I made a batch of shortcake for my birthday treat yesterday. I could have eaten the resulting strawberry shortcake with a spork.
Project Picture: See below.

Prompt: June Handspun Meadow
Team: Creators
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Shortcake batch #2
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I needed 2 more batches to make enough strawberry shortcakes for my extended family today for an unrelated gathering. I wasn't sure how well the recipe would double or triple, so I made 3 separate batches.
Project Picture: Keep going.

Prompt: June Crossed Roads
Team: Creators
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Shortcake batch #3
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: If my aunts, uncles, and cousins don't eat a lot at the gathering, I may send some shortcakes on the road with them.
Project Picture: Here they are:

Prompt: June Battle Royale - young boy
Team: Creators
Bonus Points: Brain Power
Project Name: whipped cream
Project Link: (if available)
Brief Description: I tried making stabilized whipped cream for the first time for the strawberry shortcakes. I used gelatin. The recipe said the cream sets up more once refrigerated, which it does, but not as much as I thought it would. However, the cream didn't separate or flatten at all after 24 hours! I will use my combo recipe again, but whip it more next time.

Note: Thanks again for my avatar, b1k! Not only did you nail my themes, but, little did you know, I love old-fashioned street lamps and have dreamed of dying my hair like that for quite a while.

I am done with school and can finally focus on some crafting! My goal is to CRAFT ALL THE THINGS!!! And, I'm hoping to finally knock not one but two Research Projects off of my list. I might even make progress on a third!

I have a project that I need to make today plus two other projects to post, so I'll finally have some points to contribute. And, I'll be able to get some more pinning done (and then I'll be able to keep up with it on a regular basis).
