The fairy house pincushion is cute and practical! The fox purse is also cute and love the fabric choices! The gnome is super cute too and love the realness of the "L" and woodpecker!

It's sort of a tradition that the pets make their papa underpants for gifts. When I stumbled upon this fabric while browsing online, I KNEW it would be perfect for his May birthday.

I found this material on clearance back when the family was knee deep in Dr Potter's Medicine Show events and such, so snapped it up as a nod to the ticket-event type stuff.

Don't worry! Your 'pile of shame' isn't nearly as large as mine was.
And I tackled it. So can you!
Think of the joy it will bring you when everything has its proper place.
It will be such an inspiration for future craft projects.

Uh oh! Looks like this little guy was camera shy for Wulf. The inside of the lid has a little critter trapped in it:

It's been a while since I've made some new kanzashi, and thought it was about time I did some new ones. Smiley

I often sing or hum when I am working, which my wonderful husband uncomplainingly puts up with. I have a tendency to sing a the same few songs repeatedly, to the point where I dont even notice. One of those songs is Daisy Bell otherwise known as Bicycle Built for Two. Inspired by this musical tick, I thought it would be fun to do a set of daisy themed kanzashi.

I really enjoyed putting together this hair fork with a cluster of yellow and white daisies.

and did some simpler pins

and a three-flower pin to go with it. One of the flowers in this trio has a plucked petal, which puts me in mind of the 'love me/love me not' game.
