Hey all!

Last time this cycled was in 2014 and I missed it. (Booooooo, Hissssss). Maybe I should have started a new thread, but posting in old thread at least captured those who expressed an an interest.

And former gallery:  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=434403.0

I claim TheArtsyRaven for Witches/Wizards/Magic

Status: 1 claim, 0 sent, 0 received

I live in Florida and my fav color is mint aqua.  I'm pretty open but I prefer not to receive: political, explicit nudity/pinups or blood/gore.   Christian religious themes are fine.  Artistic nudity is fine. My favorite styles of art are paintings & drawings, but do feel free to do other styles.  Thank you for claiming me!    Cheesy

Special mediums I think it would be fun to have a card covered in glitter or an all sequin card etc.   Maybe combine with a theme from below or do something random or abstract in glitter etc.  Smiley

Glitter
Sequins
Embroidered
Beaded
gold leafing or silver leafing

My themes are:

Birds -  I really like songbirds, chickens (girls) and crow & ravens
art journal page (inspiration from google: https://goo.gl/s5fUsO )
label from a fictional wine/beer/coffee/tea company
hand drawn maps or building layouts (fictional, treasure, your fav store, your apartment floor plan etc)
Stained Glass
Christmas
Christmas lights / fairy lights (decorating something, not just the lights please)
Winter
Coffee
plein air
watercolor figure paintings/studies
Eggs (still in the shell) -- birds, dragons, Faberge etc.
botanical illustration
whimsical
surreal
advent calendar (doesnt need to be the entire calendar, maybe one day with a window that opens to reveal something)
rain
Rainy city streets (without cars though), love the wet pavement, buildings, lights reflecting off wet streets etc. (some favorites on my pinterest art board or heres some from google images:  https://goo.gl/TqLNjk )

This is so... enticing. I love miniatures and all the additions; very clever to make the dress from ribbon. You've inspired me. New to the community, is there a matchbox page?

Hey ladies! I've participated in this swap for the past 5 or so years, and every year I suffer from the worst case of swap anxiety. I know that it's not a must that people send extras, but I always end up feeling like I need to send more based on all of the amazing things other people are making. Would anyone be interested in partnering up with the idea that we stick to the smalls and 1 medium? Thanks!

Be sure to read the rules as I changed the parameters a bit. It's been running so smoothly, I took the check in dates out.

Our Summer Round of the swap is OPEN!  Read the rules carefully, and I eliminated the check in requirement.  It's been running so smoothly, I didn't feel it was necessary.
